...by the way, and just so you know: At Caesars Tahoe back in the day, Bobby D was nowhere NEAR the nickel slots! He was placed right next to high-limit baccarat, in between the showroom and the parking valet to "intercept" the show crowd and keep them from escaping into the night. And he did. The casino execs loved that! And everybody loved Bobby D! Rest in Rhythm.

Man we use to Party w/ Bobby every time we went to Vegas, heck we even found him in Lake Tahoe in the Snow....What a Cool Brother, Great Entertainer....We lost a Classic One :(
This man is the reason I play/sing for a living....I had the chance to sit in with him in the late 80s in Lake Tahoe ..he taught me so much . I had a Dance cover band ...but when I saw Bobby Dickerson ...changed my whole outlook ...Thank you for Sharing

One of my favorite songs and I LOVED your dad's version. It brought back a lot of good memories when I was a teenager graduating from high school and about to enter college.
I had the pleasure of getting to know your Dad a little bit when I worked at Caesars Tahoe back in the 90's. He was an AWESOME Entertainer and a Super Kool Kat, I loved when he sang Billy Preston songs.
I also keep coming back here because he is sooo awesome! I played many years in Las Vegas but never got to see him. I do a single as well..but..NOT thIs good! I love this song. It was re-born in me after I saw the "Mule" with Clint Eastwood.
