I doubt that she never had any romantic suitors. There is a difference between not having the social skills, the looks or the popularity to date, and simply choosing not to date as a 24 yo beautiful and successful actress. I’m not trying to be mean, but there is absolutely the average person cannot compare themselves to her.
I wonder if this is why some of us (women and girls, although maybe some men and others feel this too) don't get dated, because we're built for the marriage where we stay at home and if we do go out it isn't a date but an adventure or something else we needed or we can do thing separately and talk about it later, keep romance private, or even it doesn't truly bother us if it's not movie epic, but we just want emotional and physical safety. I haven't had a boyfriend because there just wasn't nice interest, but instead unkind interest. Then, after I left a bad friend group as much as I could, not many opportunities to meet guys and I never saw anyone online that seemed right for it.

Well, I must be thankful then because most of my favorite and ever super idols are living the luxurious life of being 'Single' which was REALLY rare in today's society. Yeah same.. In the Western countries ppl like us label us as nuns.. I've dated and feel more comfortable around guys but so far guys have appreciated that I haven't slept with anybody cuz they feel it shows discipline n standing strong with one's own principles..

Exactly! Dating in the Midwest is a lot mor like that imo. You date after you get to know someone through other means than dating. Like through friends or church or from seeing them often somewhere. You ask for the date to begin a relationship.
I mean I've dated a lot and have had several non-serious relationships, but not an official boyfriend (serious relationship) because I don't want that stress. You can still date without going serious.
Im a 31 yo man and never dated ether. Was busy studying, reading, projects... Its a good sign for that women too, it means the person enjoys being with herself alone. Thats a sign of maturity...

Oh my gosh, I can totally relate to Saoirse in this interview so much. I’m almost 21 and I’ve never dated anyone before. I want to, but first in middle school and high school, I was in my awkward phase and I was a little pushy I guess, since I was desperate for a boyfriend like my friends had them and I wasn’t emotionally or mentally mature yet. But, I managed to let that desperation go and just focused on myself and my education and my mental health and I’ve matured now, and still no boyfriend yet. But I’m not gonna let that dictate my life and I’ll just wait until I least expect it and make a connection. But, yes, I can relate to Saoirse here, I’m turning 21 in two weeks and have never dated anyone before and no one’s ever had a crush on me before. 😂😂😂
I am 25, and this is a hard relate. At this point, I wouldn't know what to say, what to do or how to proceed. I've been by myself for so long, this has become a comfort zone itself.

It’s sad how Ellen gets judgy about this girl keeping her virginity until she finds the right man. I have never dated in my life or had a bf either and Im turning 30.It was always the wrong person. Want to get me into bed or just makeout with me. I always had to put my foot down to being taken advantage of. But I always got rejected when I met someone I knew I connected with. I feel hopeless like I am meant to be alone.
