Anyone who says Cristine isn't a good influence clearly doesn't watch her videos. She has an amazing job, a masters degree. Shes anti-drugs, she encourages kids to stay in school. She's a successful beautiful educated woman and is most definitely an amazing influence.
@@kenpaynegaming7138 and I totally understand that but I do not think that swearing makes you a bad influence. I mean if every second to third word coming out of the person's mouth is a swear than absolutely she swears casually. And if we're going to say that every person that swears is a bad influence then almost every person walking this planet is a bad influence
Yes and no. Cristine is right to wonder why? Because sweari g shouldn't become part of our every moment language. Children pick up grown up style super fast. But yup I'd want to know why that mama thinks she's a bad influence.
@@KerKhent Cristine isn't the only person in the world where swears. I learned a lot of language from my dad and best friend from 3rd grade. Cristine is one of many, many people who cuss.
@@KerKhent But why is swearing bad? Just teach your kids to not swear at people and be mean to them... Everytime someone reprimands someone else because they swear they just tend to seem snobby and arrogant. If you don't wanna swear that's fine but swearing in and of itself isn't a bad thing
I’m a parent of twin 13 year olds and an 8 year old. My twins love you and so do I. From Winnipeg 😬 😂😂😂😂😘😘🇨🇦. I am a qualified nail tech. So I have credibility too
@@Alia17 it is rather shameful to ask and beg for subscribers. big youtubers didnt ask for any subscribers when they started or even right now. subscribers will come when they come across a video of yours and like it, thought that will not happen every day, in fact its slow at the start. please do not ask for subscribers.
No,you are not a terrible influencer. You make people laugh, which is important in life. I'm a disabled 62 year old woman, initially watched you to learn nail art. .I've learned more than just that. I would be very unhappy if you stopped recording vids. Love you both ♡ Have more giveaways, lol
Debra Quenqua - YAY!! I’m not the oldest person who watches her channel!!😂🤣 I’m 36 and I swear all I see are mainly people under 25. But seriously...I completely agree!! I can understand parents ONLY overhearing an obviously adult woman say “I’m a halosexual are you?” and swearing having negative views of the channel. HOWEVER...THATS WHEN parents SHOULD ACTUALLY WATCH a few videos of ANY RU-vidrs they are concerned over their children watching!! Duh!!🙄🤦🏻♀️ Although I feel parents need to be more aware of what their kids are watching on RU-vid and on the internet in general. HOW parents can SUPPORT their kid watching & IDOLIZING RU-vidrs like Jake Paul blows my mind. Ok...adult rant over.😂😂😂
😊Please sub to my channel I do art and I only have 848 subs. Plz help me to 900.😊I drew BTS and all different kinds of celeberties and movie characters.
When that kid said she was excited to come home to watch simply. It made me realize that our generation had disney channel or cartoon network, but the kids now has youtube.... 🤯
@Dozy Doggie He WAS a good RU-vidr. When he started playing Fortnite it ruined his whole channel for me. But, I like to go back and watch his old, actually good videos. I’m very grateful for Stampy. Without Stampy I wouldn’t even know what RU-vid is. Or what MineCraft is, for that matter. He was an important part of my childhood, but just like most RU-vidrs I used to love, his channel went to trash.
I do respite with kids with disabilities and one of my clients has a sister like that. She’s 8 and comes home from school to watch RU-vid, never something on Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. I was born in the early 90s, so I loved coming home to watch Disney Channel and Nick.
As a mom, I have 2 comments about this video 1. You aren't a "bad influence" 2. I 100% understand why some people don't want kids. They are a lot of work, require all of your time and energy, and you are literally having to keep them alive. Some people just don't want to put that much energy into a tiny version of themselves, and I don't think they should be faulted for that. The people who have kids and THEN decide that they don't want to put forth the effort to raise them are the real people to criticize.
lol, they are like one though! 🤣 Always wanting snacks and constantly pooping! That's another thing they don't tell you about becoming a parent. I'm literally teaching other humans how to wipe their a$$. 😂😂😂
Your chihuahua is adorable! He or she looks just like my first chihuahua, Peewee. I've loved chihuahuas since I was five, when I got Peewee. Now I'm old (50-something) but I still have chihuahuas. They are The Tiny Terrors and they have a (really old) FaceBook page. They are my fur babies and I adore them!
Dina Madrid How is that creepy? Cristine is 30, it’s not her fault her fanbase consists of mostly children and teens. You’re the one that’s making it creepy, when it’s not.
I think you're a great influence. Ever since I started attending college, I've lost most of my drive. I ended up wasting about four classes due to me just not showin up. However, ever since picking back up on your videos (I paused on RU-vid for a while) I haven't missed any classes, I've confirmed what profession I want, and have really attributed a lot of the "stay in school" talk to you, because not many people in my life encourage me in this way. Sonthankmyou so much for doing what you do.
I'm a mum and a fan, as is my 10 year old son. He's autistic and finds sequins and sparkles help him cope with some sensory stuff, and loves calling himself a "holosexual" because of the weird looks he gets when he does xD I think you're a good influence, honestly. You're fun and friendly and advocate for harmless silliness, abiding the law, paying your taxes, and living autonomously and responsibly. You talk about issues that need talking about in a fun and accessible way, and you are just generally a cool person. So what if I sometimes have to deal with my 3 year old stealing teabags to play with in the bath?
That bottle of ink that you've got seems to be Émeraude de Chivor from the line J. Herbin 1670. I haven't seen it in person but it's supposedly a beautiful green ink with golden microglitter particles and if you write on good nonabsorbent paper like Rhodia it has a red shine to it. It's working in fountain pens allegedly, but it may clog some because of the glitter content. (Maybe someone already wrote that, but there's almost 7 and a half thousand comments when I'm typing this and I'm not reading all that.)
Bryanna Madson, i see this comment, but then I see the photo of the account and I can’t think for one second that this is not a smartass IRL spilling tea ITI
Basically half of the instagram stories are about Ben trying to eat dinner while Menchie is hanging out on his shoulders, but yeah, I'd love to see more of that. I do love it when they include behind the scenes clips. Like that time Ben walked in on Cristine talking to a mannequin.

Here, Ben,I'm giving you the "parental-child resentment" my mother gave birth to me at age 19 (So, not because society pressured her to, but because... well she didn't wait) She ABSOLUTELY without a doubt resents me completely. She and my father got a divorce when I was 4 and everything I've had since then I had to work for, and I mean actually illegally work "under the table", at supermarkets and things like that; however, now she has another daughter with her new husband, I love her she's my baby although I do kind of resent her because she get EVERYTHING when I don't and never did, I'm 17 and she's 8. I do want children, but not for a while more when I know that I can support them and I'm currently planning along with my school counselor a way for my to go to college, to get a teaching degree (Special Education specifically) and that's pretty much it.
I’m a parent, and I wouldn’t say you were a bad influence. (My 10yr old son watches your videos with me) But then apparently I’m a bad influence because I wear trainers with dresses and that’s “not lady like” according to British middle class standards🤣
I used to punch/threaten to beat my best friend every day for two years in high school. Ten years later he asked me to marry him. So I can verify that this is a solid foundation 😂😂😂
Hello ben and cristine.. I am a 36 year old , married (12,5 years ) mom of 4 kids.. So i'm pretty much living your nightmare every day 🤓... I love your video's and i rather have my kids watch you than troom troom.. Just wanted to put that out there.. Also i think its refreshing that you are letting the kids know that marriage and having kids is a option and not a goal. Back to banana's , taxes and tea now! Lots of love!🙋🏼 Anne
23:33 The whole disguised lesson in a goofy video thing is also a lesson in itself to not judge people based on a handful of things. You never know what someone's story is, or what may have happened to them to make them the way that they are. Don't get me wrong, some people are just bad/rude and are just out to get others, but just always be thinking about who you are dealing with and what you really know about them. I really enjoy your videos because they are genuine and silly, but you tell people that life isn't just silliness and fun. There is a 'grown-up' aspect of it. Like, you have a 'regular' or 'traditional' job, but you still have fun on the side doing RU-vid. It really is a good message you are spreading and I encourage you to keep it up! Thank you and Ben for being awesome and inspiring!
I know you guys have touched on it semi briefly in a few videos but I’d love to see a full video of you both talking about the marriage and kids thing. About common law and the pressure of having kids. I live in the states, (unfortunately) and I feel like it’s expected from every couple to do both of those things. I can’t tell you how many of my clients are always saying “wait till you have kids” like it’s expected from everyone. I like hearing Simply and dad share opinions about it. It’s refreshing. Love you!! 💜
Cristine, I am a 19yo male who discovered your channel a few days ago, in that time I have seen you submerge yourself in tea, do a mountain of polish twice, do art in an actual metal nail, call your boyfriend your tea slave, follow troom troom tutorials and make me worry about your Holo obsession... I have come to the conclusion that you are one of the better influences in RU-vid and I love your videos. I think you are amazing. Keep up the good work.
I am a mom of two girls and I think you are an amazing role model! You are so much better than anyone else. My girls and I love you! Oh and can you clone Ben I need one!
@@jaedynbrinkman1854 I've grown up hearing that type of language on tv and outside, but never used it till a good late-teenagehood when i started gaming xD if the kids are super nice she'll be able to teach them not to use the language (ps I'm 22 and still never swearing in front of any of my family members)
@@olivia913 Which 'to' is wrong? 'to sip' is right since it is the full verb next to it, as in 'to say', or 'to walk' 'tea to' is also right, as in 'I was running to this song by Big Bang' I get the confusion though.
I think you are a great influence for everyone. You talk about school and a lot of other things in that area, but you also show everyone that it is okay and cool to be a bit weird and crazy sometimes. You show that growing up isn't a boring thing all the time and that you can still have fun and be who you want to be as an adult too. And that you should be proud of who and where you are in life because you are here. And everyone is important to someone else. I hope that reads okay. I'm having some strong fibro for right now, but I hope you get my point.
