yo quick question, can't you just skip like half the level if you just go through the saws without the star? there are link powerups at the other side so instead of a 4 minute lvl is like 1 minute? I don't have the game so maybe I'm just saying nonsense
it did the Zelda theme really well it does what Zelda temples really do. Show off an item and has you explore what you can do with it through puzzles and then use it to defeat a boss
That Lava Mechanic was sick 🔥 there's actually this other Creator that made a level where Everytime the lava rose, you'd stay alive and each room kept completely changing when reappearing when the lava sank. Sounds simple but is definitely something you don't always see in this game 🔥💯
If you mean the one troll level I think in that one it was done by clever custom screen scroll and by moving the player into a new area while the wall of lava was up. I dont think the player was ever in the lava in that particular level, atleast not in the on screen parts, so it was not glitch usage but rather "sleight of hand"

I love how the last level uses a mechanic that Panga has heard of before but is still unknown enough that he’s very intrigued by it and wonders if it can by incorporated into an actual level. All the while I’m thinking about how I literally made an entire level centered around this mechanic 3 and a half years ago (ID is X66-1YB-09G) that only got 8 likes and 85 plays. Obviously, yes, you very much can use this mechanic in a level, and you don’t even need the setup to trap you in place, the way I have it set up in my level is so that you can leave the setup whenever you want simply by moving (but you also don’t need to hold yourself in place either, once you’re in the setup you won’t leave unless you intentionally move).
I once played a link puzzle level that required genuine speedrunning if you wanted to complete the level within the timer. I didn't manage to do it in one go even after re-playing it!

Stop complaining about the level being too long. It is a DUNGEON LEVEL. It is supposed to be that way! You need to play another game and stop playing mario maker 2 if you are going to complain about dungeon levels being too long.
@@drewfromyay882 agreed. Good level, it just seemed bad cuz Panga rushed it (as usual) lol. I can appreciate a good puzzle or Metroidvania-lite level as much as a New Soup speedrun
