Also as a Liverpool fan, do not be surprised if Gomez is ahead of Quansah in the pecking order. Slot likes his centre backs strong and dominating. Quansah is a bit more timid.
my last wildcard decision basically comes down to who to downgrade Watkins to around 5.5-6.5m, and who I upgrade to Saka - Smith-Rowe, Rogers or Semenyo. Smith Rowe most consistant and biggest value loss, Rogers possibly the best long term hold, Semenyo best short term fixtures. don't like losing any of them but feel like Rogers is going to be the one for now as cheapest to bring back in if needed and if he starts returning regulalry and price creeps up then will still be good value at 5.5. If smith-rowe or semenyo goes now then probably won't be back in the team for a long time.
@@BrainKluff at least 4-5 will be v. long terms keeps - triple Arsenal, Haaland, Rodgers/McNeil/ESR, Trent maybe. Ignore 2-3 bench sitters and you're talking about moving around 7-8 players every 3-4 gws. Throw in team value and a wc seems reasonable this gw.
Van Der Berg might be good but he might not. I don’t think there’s a huge upside to be gambling on that position, if I ever need my 4.0m def with a strong defence after wildcard then I don’t want there to be a chance he’s not in the team
Wood is in my wildcard, perfect place holder for Cunha when Wolves fixtures turn in Gw10 and just a note that Sangare is injured which effects Forest defensively, great show
Re the red card in Arsenal-City, surely we have to acknowledge there’s 1. Half a second between the whistle blowing and Trossard making contact, he is literally mid-kick as the whistle’s blown and 2. He’s playing a ball to Martinelli, who’s countering. I’m surprised James has bought the PGMOL’s bull, especially considering the commentators stated that VAR had said it was a reckless foul and not that he’d kicked the ball away.
