Nope in sao you can only have one weapon and that's it in terms of sword users you get a shield or of you are kirito then yes you get another weapon in the other hand

Actually how it works is it isn't SAO that necessarily kills you, but your NerveGear. SAO puts out a signal to any NerveGear connected to it to fry the user's brain when their HP hits 0. The moment that Sinon fell into SAO, her Medicuboid (same tech as NerveGear) connected to SAO, so it has just as much capability of killing her if she dies in the game as anyone else.

So. I not playing this Game :/ did Sinon And Leafa use Medicuboid insteed of Amusphere here? Why?

It's a future I can see. -Raven Actually it's an alternate reality where a glitch happened while Kirito was fighting Heathcliff on the 75th floor. He vanished and everyone was still trapped and forced to clear all 100 floors, so you start on Floor 76. Also the glitch pulled Sinon in from the Medicuboid she was using and allowed Leafa to enter to look for Kirito.

You're not wrong. It's how the dialogue boxes are structured. If you look at the dialogue box before it, and combine it with the next one, she says "Thank you... it means a lot to hear you say that... But this is my problem, and I have to solve it myself..." The way Japanese sentences are structured is different from English, so even though "Demo... arigato" was spoken during the "But this is my problem" dialogue box, it was actually also part of the dialogue before it too xP

You're welcome :] You've got a pretty good eye/ear to have caught that. I know what demo, arigato, daijoubu, kisama, and other common Japanese words mean, but I didn't listen to the words being spoken in these scenes as much as I was reading the text and trying to convert the voices I was hearing into speaking the English words I was reading lol.

I'm assuming I'm on the other side of the world, then, because I'm exactly 6 hours behind lol. It's 8 PM now. Feels a lot later today with so much going on. I'm no expert on Japanese myself, but I know enough about sentence structure and context to where I can translate stories with google translate and then fix up the sentences/wording so they make sense lol. Because google translate usually doesn't do a great job on its own.

Yep. In the anime, SAO ended after Kirito defeated Heathcliff/Kayaba in the Floor 75 boss room. In this game, Kirito beat Heathcliff like in the anime, but the game didn't end due to a glitch. The glitch also allowed Leafa to come in from ALO and it pulled Sinon in while she was using a Medicuboid for counseling therapy.

Well that said, every main character in my game is at least Lv260+ now, and Kirito has a rank 5 affinity with them, as well as a specially forgedenhanced weapon and an arcane skill and Hollow Fragment necklace. Sinon was just the first because I prefer her due to how much effort the creator went to in writing her character. She seemed like more of a deep/main character than Kirito in SAO II xD Though while you can romance anyone in the game, canonically Kirito and Asuna are still a couple in the game's story.

Shinku no Yami yeah Sinon is the best written character at least, and most bad ass when she had the sniper. I prefer her over Asuna. Who is just goes form bad ass to regular ass tsundere to being captured like princess peach in Mario........ That and I disliked the fact that asuna stripped herself down on her stupid understanding, and then punches kirito for her own mistake.

DBZFANX1000 Actually sinnion only seems so written because her character got a small back story of something tramatic aka(spoilers ) she killed someone dude . Now seeing a character history can give "depth" ,but during the mother Rosario arc we see much more of Asuna than we've ever seen. Hell by that point she has just as much depth as sinnion. All I'm asking is you look at the story objectively when you criticize it . Not hating btw just saying by that standered Asuna matches .

Hell I don't blame you for hating her logic. although I think the author more of made her a bit much like . I can also understand. I mean she's known him for so long. so if that happened I'd be pretty embarrassed as well. But hey that's my logic in it.

I've been asking that question since season 1 of the show. It was clear who is the better girl in this series. Yet for some odd reason, many people believe the first series was better then the second. I will never understand

Nah that's not SInon. That's me playing the game in a direction that favors Kirito x Sinon. It's why she's the only one I partner with during my whole recorded playthrough, and the first character in my game to hit Lv300 (even before Kirito did) :]

People can prefer the pairing they want, but as far as characters themselves go, to quote myself, "Out of all the girls in SAO, she has the most characterization and the best backstory (well, the only one with any backstory really). She's given the most depth to her character among the rest which are more two-dimensional, and also undergoes the most character development in her story arcs. Possibly the only other character who somewhat has this is Sugu during the Alfheim arc in the first SAO, but not to the degree of tangibility that Sinon has with the personal issues she has to face and overcome. Because of that, Sinon is also the only other character whose head the anime gets inside of and tells her story from a first person perspective. More than once I had to remind myself she wasn't the main character because she was being portrayed as such. She's the only one really given more goals and struggles aside from "I wanna be Kirito's lover", which takes much more of a back seat to the rest of her story compared to the other girls who seem to only exist to be Kirito's girls/side girls. This only happens to Sinon after the events of GGO and into ALO, and even then she's much more discreet about it than the others. In short, I prefer Sinon because she's the one character with actual character lol. While I like her pairing with Kirito the best over his stereotypical cooking house waifu Asuna, I like Sinon because her existence had more to it than to be one of the harem. Her memories and flashbacks were the only things in the anime that got me to choke up. They were very human and a lot darker than the rest. The other characters seemed superfluous in comparison lol."

Shinku no Yami You say somewhere along that Asuna's goal is to be "Kirito's lover" solely. However, isn't that the point for Asuna though? Perhaps the anime didn't give an exact first person perspective of Asuna's past too much, but she claims how, before she met Kirito, she didn't feel at home in either the real or virtual world because nobody really understood or cared about her that way. If you read what happened, Asuna has been sexually harrased by Nobuyuki Sugou numerous times long before SAO started, and yet her parents cared less enough to arrange a marriage between her and that freak. The fact that she changed from being so angry and gloomy, to being the cheerful person she is now thanks to Kirito's love shows deep character development. This goes even further in the mother Rosaria arc. (Let's not forget how Asuna had to regain her will to take back control of her life when her family wanted to ruin it for her and made her lose hope) If you insist that Asuna is 'stereotypical' because she's good at cooking well, of course, I'll disagree. Being sexually harassed can be just as dark as having to kill somebody, so it can be argued that both Sinon and Asuna have the deepest backstories. The thing is though, I dislike how Sinon often treats Kirito like shit or like a pervert, and attempts to make it seem as if Kirito loves her when really, he only loves Asuna. I love each and every single moment that Kirito and Asuna share as their love blossoms throughout the series, and that's why I can't stand any other girl trying to steal and/or ruin the relationship between those two. The way Lis gets jealous whenever she sees Kirito and Asuna having their moments, makes me pretty mad too lmao

The thing is that they don't really go into that with Asuna. It's all about how it's depicted. And it's not just about the character's backstory alone, but how they carry themselves as a result as well. And now, SInon only does stuff like that in the game, but if we're gonna include the games, then yeah Asuna lacks any kind of depth and is basically a stereotypical cooking housewife. The cooking aspect is emphasized so much. And also, it's not just Sinon who treats Kirito like a pervert or acts like that. All the girls do. Even Asuna, who's supposed to be his wife and has already had sex with him, there are scenes where you wouldn't know it based on her actions (like the "Skinny Dipping" scene I have uploaded). My mom was actually sexually harassed by her own father. It is a pretty big deal. Though Sinon not only experienced the weight of taking another human life, and doing it so up close and personal, but she was also ostracized for it. She was shown having to constantly deal with it with mental images, flashbacks, and her own struggles. Many wouldn't even know Asuna went through that with Suguo because they never showed it, they never show Asuna struggle with it, nor do they show the ramifications it has on her. The way they handled it was akin to Sinon, in Hollow Fragment, saying she was using the medicuboid for therapy. In the game, we're not shown or told really much of what therapy it was or what she had gone through. It means very little to the person playing. Even when we see Sugou in the latter half of SAO 1, we don't really get a good sense at all of what Asuna went through. It wasn't depicted very well. Sure, every character has a backstory, but that's not what makes them well written. It's how that story is depicted, how it affects them, and what character that character has. We SEE what Sinon went through, we SEE how it constantly haunts and affects her, we SEE her struggling through and overcoming it, we SEE all of this having a tangible effect on her, and we see things from HER first person perspective. This is not something that I can say of Asuna. Even Sugu was shown going through more and having more development, though they did show a bit for Asuna with her mom iirc, but still it wasn't much. They clearly put more care into Sinon's story. She came across as more of a main character than Kirito, with more depth too.

Like, someone could say "This this and this happened to Silica in her past, which is why she does this or acts like this", and I'd be like "Cool I guess. I mean it sucks that that happened to her, but why couldn't the writers have conveyed that through the anime and her character and made me feel something from it?"
