When it comes to E.H becoming a Nikke, it *is* possible for her to retain the same human appearance. There have been other Nikke's such as Mary, Rosanna, Sakura, and Maron, who kept their original look. That being said, she'll most likely get a new appearance due to her previous affiliation with Heavenly Ascension.
The scenes with Viper and her collar hits hard. It also shows the strength of the writing that we can go from "Viper's awful" to "Get out of there, she's gonna shoot you" so quickly. Good redemption story there. This chapter in general is so peak.
This chapter was insane the first time I experienced it. So much crazy stuff happened in terms of revealing new lore and character development. So many moments of wailing my hands in the air and shouting. I think it’s up there with ch13-14 when fighting Modernia. Amazing job making it so far into the story!! Indivillia always getting beaten up is pretty funny. She is such a menacing character but she always ends up walking in when our protagonists have their secret weapon conveniently ready to use.
Agreed! Yes do we love the fan service, of course but it's not just about that, genuinely a phenomenal story! The lore, writing, ost, all of it, beautiful!
100+ years of dealing with Ark's upper echelons did that to her + the fact she can even fool her own programming means she learned a heck-ton from those bunch
About *Syuen* accidentally activating the wrong collar's detonation sequence. There is nuance that isn't stated outright. But going by what is stated about *Syuen's* condition at that moment, it's safe to say that *Yuni* really f^ckd her up. Bad.. In real life, *Syuen* would be dead. But if by some IRL miracle, she somehow survived, the life that she would then have to live, would be with 24/7 care. Traumatic brain injuries are no joke. Now in game *Syuen* is still herself, mentally. But physically, she is experiencing the aftermath of a traumatic brain injury. Her senses are likely all out of whack, if not gone, like in some cases. (blindness, hearing loss, etc.) But In *Syuen's* case, it's apparent that she is experiencing severe loss of motor skills/functions. So, no wonder her finger slipped when the hand it's attached to is likely paralyzed. If *ShiftUP* wanted be realistic with *Syuen's* recovery(or lack thereof), for the story moving forward, then players could truly say that the game really did give them depression.
Chatterbox saw how much of a vile piece of crap crow was and said "damn, i better up my game" and then proceeds to maul to near death, the one that save him from being turned into scrap metal, and ditched. Thats how i see it.
Watched the vod finally! I am incredibly happy that you are here to witness how great the writting is. You've reached end game stuff and its trully peak so much world building and character progression is shown after ch22 and it gets so much better when you reach the end leaving you craving for more. Cant wait to see you reach the end! (Atm ch30)
Finally!! The rollercoaster and climax of the Invasion chapters closes! I hope you enjoyed this arc cuz it was ciertanly one of the most action & subterfuge packed ones. Not only was there a heated assault on the Ark, but many underlying dangers from within are being slowly pulled out. Prep up because there's gonna be hella new adventures coming up! The cutscene where u meet anderson is the actual start of chatper 25. There were so many theories as to what will happen or what kind of nikke syuen would be before the new chapter dropped.
This was the chapter where I realized Diesel might just be the goat. Ngl I'm just a little bit jealous that you can go ahead and watch the beginnings of subsequent chapters right away; The Red Hood cliffhanger and the one at the end of chapter 26 got me messed up for months haha...

It's funny, i get the whole idea and all that with not killing Crow/Exotic (also coz they're playable but that's become it's own whole mess)... but throughout this arc (or anything with Crow in really), I was screaming to just kill Crow (and if necessary, exotic squad as a whole), like i'm all in on team Syuen with pushing that nuke button, I honestly don't care about the "cover ups" or such when innocent lives are on the line and Crow is an active threat. The blood is on the hands of everyone who's prevent Crow's death. I know it's probably already a very hot take (2nd biggest of mine, i think) but to add on top of that, the whole "don't fall to the dark side" just doesn't sit right with me, given the lives lost (that could of been easily saved in my eyes) and the stance the commander has with siding with nikkes. If anything, i believe the commander should get his hands dirty if it comes to it. That said, I was glad to see Jackal and Viper fine and alive at the end, even if Viper herself is a very dangerous mixed bag.
Leaving Crow alive makes way more sense specially after the newest chapters. I agree with you tho, i was hoping we'd get rid of her, but after Rapi pulled through, it kinda dawned on me and I was glad we didn't. We'd walked back on what we promised ourselves and Marian. Currently, we're getting involved in things that will require Commander to pay a trip to Crow soon if you ask me. The dark side of the Ark is getting a little light shined in, and clearly it's more than we can handle.

@@MBS-HomuZombie It's not, its mentioned early on so its easy to forget but Commander swore to never let another tragedy like Marian's happen again. Having to kill your own comrade. Commander is pretty much a "no nikkes killed" hardliner, and thats why Crow was after em and wanted to break em and force us to kill one ourselves.

Seeing how Crow is considered to be the worst SSR in the game (kit-wise), I would assume the devs hate their own creation as well and did that on purpose. 😅
Everything in this chapter, a freaking avalanche. The Nikke's, Crow, Syuen, Anderson, Rapi, the future, the PAST... The writers had to buckle down and get on the same page for this. And this essentially started with some dumb Bunny girl event in previous chapters where the Outer Rim and Queen got involved with some heist or something then BOOM! I love me some sexy girls, but I like it more when it's sexy girls involved in intrigue and survival and trauma and I can save them but not all of them (Crow) but I need to save them (Jackal/Viper) but I'm just a human (Anderson) and I need to do my best and (bond stories with Diesel) to defend the world and fight evil (Syuen) but I need to save Rapi... from the past... I love this stupid dumb gacha game. Please give me some nice swimsuit outfits... but last summer event carried heavy truth (Mary/Pepper)... FUN!!! Edit: Anis' character development through these chapters and side events around this time... god, I love this girl, I want to make her safe... I can't wait for them to make Neon more than a "Firepower" meme.... but I don't want her to suffer...
Crow is hateable, but why hot seriously tho her design is top tier but her as a character is absolutely detestable in every possible level 10/10 character Edit: I think the Voice acting in the Jp version of the dialogues delivered the emotions on this chapter way better than the EN version did
This chapter made me like Crow's character. A true apathetic nihilistic anarchist. Considering her situation I completely understand her actions. She's got nothing left to lose and everyone to make pay. Based on various artifacts, side quests, event stories, etc the central government is disgusting. And the Ark citizens are sheep just following what they're told barely capable of critical thinking on their own. Crow's actions are "The Base Violence Necessary for Change" to quote Silco from Arcane. The only thing I hate is that Crow seems to have resignated herself to dying in the chaos and even encouraging others to kill her. If you're gonna destroy a corrupt society be ready to fix or raise a better one.
@@Cndr86 yes and no. She tells the commander at some point "if we had met sooner things might have been different." She's full on nihilism. Or as the kids call it a "doomer."
Chatterbox halfbreed: From some of Relics through out the campaign I think its implied men were attempted to be made into nikkes but its didn't work. I think Chatterbox was such an attempt. He calls nikkes human imposters with particular disdain. It's also implied raptures are not aliens but rather experiments. I think Chatterbox was one those.
