Studio One veteran Winston “Mr. Fix It” Francis has produced what is perhaps 2020’s biggest reggae anthem, a tour de force production with no less than Jamaican superstars Freddie McGregor, Tarrus Riley and Luciano. Boosted by a blazing horn section and energetic rhythm, this roots reggae hit is a forthright plea for love and unity. You can tell each artist on the combination track put their heart into the song - Freddie McGregor (of “Big Ship” and “Stop Loving You” fame) adds depth with his trademark gravely vocals, while Riley (son of reggae legend Jimmy Riley) and “The Messenger” Luciano put their signature polish on the track. To hear these four gentlemen united on such an upful and uplifting tune is a reggae lover’s dream, but also a great inauguration for newer listeners. Produced by Francis’s son Lee, this has the markings of a heartfelt family affair - and that’s what makes reggae great, when gifted artists come together to deliver a universal message with a sense of tradition and harmony guiding the proceedings. Look out for this big single now at all your music outlets.
