This feels like design school. You are so generous sharing your business procedures and ideas.....that so many people can “help themselves to”......you must feel very secure about your life in general. It is also a mirror on you personally. Well I find the whole thing amazing. And you’re a Vancouver girl, which makes me very proud.

Another great video. Love the idea about setting an intention. I've recently started working for myself full time and finding focus is the hardest thing to do when there is so much to get done. Intention is key to a successful day.

Connie B. I was definitely looking for this comment. Lol it did seem a little “weird” for lack of a better word, but I think with how big social media is at this point, I think that may continue to happen and become more common. Also, a lot of “regular” companies ask in interviews if you know anything of them or the company you’re applying to.

I do exactly the same thing when I wake up and also go to work driving with no noise, just appreciating the moment and thinking about the day ahead with a positive vibe. Hey Karin I would love to see how you plan out your life and year since the new year is just around the corner and how you implement goal setting. If u use a paper planner or a digital one so on. Also I’m hoping that there is going to be at least one Christmas video but in the meantime I will just go back and watch your Christmas videos from years past! I truly enjoy your content thanks! Much like in software design you have company principles that guide a flexible process, in which you have SPRINTS which are governed by a particular outcome(just like you told your team members, you can add to the board, just as long as it ties into what the project is about.) I enjoy listening and watching your videos because of your ability to explain your process in a "person on the street" way.

Karin I’m a new follower of yours and already so excited watching you, your daily activities and business design aspects. Your work experience and your way of communicating with so much passion help me to move forward. I’m almost 47 year old, very active in the industry but not as a designer. I own a small kitchen and bath design/renovation company wanting to grow my business as an interior designer. My plan is to go back to school for the next two years and get certified so I can apply all this knowledge to my existing business. My question is this... Am I young enough to make this move and still be successful surrounded by so many young talented designers? Thank you, David C.

Love the intentions motivation to start one's day. Love seeing how you set the tone for the day with your employees. I also love most of your fashion choices but today the fancy pink heels with the ripped jeans and flannel seemed too much. And this is only my opinion but a pair of loafers, tennis shoes or a even a pair of kitten black heels would have been cute with your comfortable outfit. I really LOVED the flannel and the jeans together. You look great and in the end of the day you look professional in all your intentions.

how do yall manage the many print of papers you eventually you wont need after selections scale through? is there no way yall can arrive at a decision without having to print? just curious
