BTW, I have CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome), Menière's Disease, and migraines (hormonal). I definitely get you on the health issues! Hang in there! :)

I was bitten by a tick in 2016, spring, on the leg. I got a rash (not bull's eye), so the doctor did still do a blood test, and it tested positive. I was put on doxycycline, which I threw up and could not hold down in any way, so got different antibiotics for 4 weeks. They won't retest me because retesting can have weird results! If they were on it promptly, chronic Lyme is never an issue, I don't think. So sorry to hear of your struggles. I was diagnosed almost 3 years too late with CRPS (something that can turn severe within a year and that can disable you), and so I do get it when specialists don't take you seriously. It was actually my primary and a neurologist that discovered what I had. And then told me that nothing could be done. By that time I could barely walk. I have a disability in both legs. Always take someone to the doctor with you. It shouldn't make a difference, but it *does* trust me!

Check out the Ergoscue Method. There is a book and see if there is a place near you that you can go to that uses this method. It saved a family member of mine from having back surgery. All doctors told her that surgery was the only way to go and after one month of this she was able to stand and walk again with minimal pain and needs no surgery. Hopefully this will help you too!!

What a rough time you've had. I get awful headaches/occasional migraines, so completely sympathise with you. They are so debilitating. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Emma x

So glad you’re back! I’m sorry you are dealing with health issues. I had viral meningitis years back. It was awful. Fortunately I was in hospital for 3 days and I was completely back to normal after that. I didn’t even realize the symptoms could linger. Get well soon and look forward to more content.

wow, those surgeries sound like they were painful. Glad you are on the mend. Good to see you again. Speaking as someone who is on high dose Lyrica and an opioid patch due to fibro and neuropathy pain, I can so relate to stupid doctors that don't take peoples' pain seriously. Chronic pain is horrible, and then if you have a doctor that isn't willing to treat your pain, you can really become suicidal. Thankfully you have gotten to see doctors that took your pain seriously.

Sidenote, losing weight while on Gabapentin can be tricky. Lyrica especially makes a lot of people gain weight. Myself? I never got that side-effect on Gabapentin, but my aunt has it bad. Lyrica, though, is horrible!

I’d like to see weight loss tips! I had a c section 8 weeks ago and am slowly getting back into fitness, though it’s been hard having had that major surgery. I know our surgeries are so different but maybe you’d have some tips on getting back into fitness after surgery?
