Liam I am so incredibly proud of you for being sober. My dad drank his whole life, spent all of his money into nothing, and eventually suffered 3 strokes that permanently disabled him. Please stay happy, and healthy. Addiction is a disease and I wish nothing but the best for you. When you feel as if you can’t handle things and need to reach for one again, reach out to those who love you instead. Unplug. I want you here for a long time.

I don't know why I got tears when he said "I am not going to let anyone else take any blame for the stuff I said" ... It is a big step to admit a mistake and takes even a bigger heart to work on improving oneself. We love you Liam. We love all 1D boys. Together or not, hope you guys are happy.

I was a bit hesitant to watch these cause youtube apologies have become really cringe but... this honestly surprised me so positively. I've been a One Direction fan since 2011, which means almost half my life, and I fell in love with the group because of how chill and genuine these 5 guys felt at the time. I've been trying to still stay up to date with all 5 and that Logan Paul video made me quite sad, as well as some other stuff and people Liam hung out with - so it's very refreshing to see this. I hope he's getting better ❤️

first of all, i want to commend your bravery and maturity. coming out of a dark time in your life can be hard and you are handling it with grace and taking responsibility for actions you may regret. while the past might not be as bright, we can only continue to move forward. i can speak for everyone when i say i am extremely proud of how far you’ve come all these years. staying sober for 6 months, making new music, discovering a new hobby, and going on a tour are all things you should be immensely proud of. you’ve made all of this happen on your own all while recovering from a bad time in your life. don’t ever feel afraid to fall down, we will be right there to lift you up again and again- as many time as it takes. i hope you continue to be successful and i wish you the best of luck as you raise your boy to be just as great as the legacy you’ll leave. all the best 🫶🫶

liam is one of the bravest people i know at this point. In one direction he was always the one who spoke in interviews and sang first to not put pressure on others, he saved his friend's life in a fire and now this. he talks about all the difficulties he has had and takes his responsibility. I’ve been a directioner since 2014 and it is literally so heartbreaking to see Liam suffer. But I’m so so so proud of him for openly speaking on this and being so genuine. I LOVE YOU SO MUCN LIAM. I’m praying for you, also. Kidney infections are no good. I’ll keep you in my heart and pray that you recover from this. You honestly cannot believe how incredible proud we are of you. I think so many of us know how it is to be in a dark place and to feel like you don’t belong anywhere and we know how hard this shit can get but i think that is way we are so happy that you seem better now, that you took your chance and that you feel comfortable again being yourself. It is human and it is good to make mistakes so you can learn from them. I think thats all life is about, learning, improving and living in the best way possible. Don’t stress yourself, do it the way you want and when you want. There is noone pushing you anymore and we will always be there for you, do not forget that ever!

It takes a whole another bravery to admit your mistakes and show yourself as vulnerable in front of millions. Nothing is wrong with being vulnerable. Band reunion or not , I'm so glad all of u are still friends. Love u lots and can't wait for your next album ,mate.

Anyone with any sense can see you're a decent person, you were going through some stuff but honestly it wasn't like you went in on anyone on that Logan podcast. You sort of said Zaynes has a hard time and maybe that's why certain behaviours existed. You could have said a LOT worse. Nice that you've apologised and I'm really glad you're in better place and getting wholesome, healthy hobbies. That's what I did after and during rehab years ago, now I do indoor climbing, cycling and kayaking, along with lots of painting, drawing and model making. I love it! I don't miss the drinking or running away from myself. I never followed One Direction or any of you in particular to be honest, but this came up on suggested after seeing the Logan podcast. Really glad I watched it! Sending love to you and your little boy ❤

Being self aware is best thing for you. You get back what you put out. Learn to love urself flaws and all and know love is the highest form of forgiveness. Live in your spirit not in ur ego. It will destroy you Liam. You can still be successful in ur own way and right. U can start off by changing music genres and do more of a jazz feel.
