The Chinese TDs are so much fun. I am grinding towards the T9 currently. Sure they are not the prettiest, but I think they look funny. Like a big block of iron with a gun.
You'll love the tier 9. The HE has 99mm of pen and smashes them for 960hp using Calibrated. It is great fun getting to the sides or behind everyone and just spamming it.
When I played it after the buffs, I had discovered that its basically a better yolo tank than the OG yolo wagon I don't even need to try as hard as with the 263
Ehhh idk. Better alpha but its armor melts against decent pen heat from heavies and tds. Front on the 263 can be impregnable against most opponents if you can’t get its lower plate
Agreed. I don't see this tank much on the battlefield, but it's worth the grind. It's an absolute beast on any non city map. The tier 8 and 9 tanks are great tanks too, hell, even the tier 7 with 192mm pen stock and 400 alpha (250mm pen 340 alpha with HEAT) is decent enough if you can learn to use the pretty ordinary 6 deg gun depression. The tier 9 has 90mm HE pen and a massive 960hp using rammer. Getting to the rear of most tier 8 or 9 tanks is a barrel of laughs. But use calibrated! The good thing though, is all the guns including the tier 10 gun have 6 deg gun depression, so you'll be very familiar with using that 6 deg by the time you hit tier 10. So all in all it's not a bad grind, and the tier 10 prize at the end is well worth the time. I think it's borderline OP.
the 113gt is sooo good right now, the 111gt is almost as good but id rather people not play it, so it stays in this state :) so everyone just ignore what droodles says in this video

I've just started grinding the tank for my first tier10 in my new NA account, I think one of the reasons that peoeple dont grind the line is because of the tier 6 to 8. Tier 6 and 7 very painful stock grind, especially tier 7. Tier 8 has ok stock grind BUT, the tank is equivalent to a Ferdinand but it trades 300hp for 60more alpha damage on the HE. i dont think that is a very good trade, considering that No one said the Ferdinand is a godo tank(its alright). But it is quite fun as it tends to roll high up to 700dmg when you pen. In case anyone want to say that the wz has better armor than ferdinand, i want to point out that: - WZ has stronger upper super structure that can bounce, but at the cost of a larger lower plate, tanks with lower pen can easily cut right through your lower plate, whereas ferdinand they actualyl need to take time to aim as its much thinner. - WZ cannot angle or else one side of its armor will become weak, the strongest you can achieve in the open is 220(with enchanced armor). whereas the ferdinand can angle its front however it wants, 220(with enchanced) when perfectly angled without weakening side. On top, the ferdinand can wiggle its armor to bait shells, wz cant.
The problem is the Jagdpanzer E100 is a thing and people wanna slap for a lot of HP, 640 alpha is good but just drive a 60tp or an E 100 or even a Vk72 or why not even drive a bz75. The problem now is the only TD's that can slap heavies for ALOT more hp is your jagd and 183.
Its my go to tank when I need some wins and some alpha. It practically has an accurate TD gun on a heavy tank chassis with a slow medium tank mobility. And reactive armor when you want to push aggresively. Completely busted, agree with Droodles on this one
I totally forgot to grind this tech tree tank while I was in my hangar thinking what to grind until I saw this video how the Wz 113G FT perform well in the battlefield.
I have been playing it lately.. My god what i've been missing out on.. It's so good I managed to get multiple games with 5k damage and even my highest ever of 7572 damage
Todays a sad day. I spent 30 gold on the new chinese tank draw, got a black box and like 300 gold, spun a second time for 40 gold, got 2 mystery containers, got a mystery tank certificate and redeemed it just to get a nightmare. I’ve already sold a nightmare previously and have 80/100 certificates for it. It’s bs
I grinded the chinese td line before the armor buff. After the armor buff, i'm still a little weirded why the tier 10 has less pen than the tier 9 now...
Ah a vid on my fav and best T10 past 3 months, the WZ 113G FT. I do wish it had 1 degree more pen, I always think im hull down enough and get hit in bottom plate, its deceiving
i am ( EDIT 12 hours later ) i got it this morning.boss mode top to grind.big damage big xp and 111G FT has such great pen for tier 9 .turns armour into butter
Back then like year ago i decided to grind this tank just to crap on mino players when the line got released, and version 4 players too, this td needs some love 👌💯
I used to ignore the Chinese lines and then I got to the tier IX and X heavies and they were great and then I went up the TD line and I was damnitman this tanks are good to.
Its also a lot of battles even with epic xp booster would be like 200 battles ONLY TO GET THE TIER X the whole line would be like 700 battles that YOU NEED TO WIN 😢
First of all droodles is absolutely right these types of tanks are broken as hell Now just imagine what will you do against a wz when its hull down when fighting it with a is7 or a maus or even e100 vk100 or mediums or literally every freaking heavy tank unless the it has premium AP or ridiculous heat pen like e5 Only TD’s can fight this monstrosity I always disliked when freaking ridiculous pen TD can have so much armor like what are you supposed to do in a heavy unless its flat ground. And a skilled player always knows not to drive these type of TD in flat ground
I would rather have insane accuracy something like 268, like turn and snap style tank instead of armor im pretty sure any skilled player would choose a good gun over armor, lets say you don't wanna play 268 or wz, why play any td when you can play an E4
I mean the only reason I can see why people haven’t grinded the tank, (myself included) is that it’s just SO much xp to reach the tier 10. Why go for something that takes a super long time to get to, rather than just going for an M6 yoh or an E100? Eventually I’ll grind for the wz, but rn I’m going for the e4 lol
e4 sucks dispersion wise, i grinded it and barely play it over th e100 and ho ri, ho ri is basically better, only downside is no turret, but traverse speed and turnrate are quick
I mean if you are getting flanked by lights in tier 10 games either your team sucks so bad you would lose either way like the first game or you suck and should be playing heavy tanks or mediums till you grasp the basics of positioning which is the one thing that prevents flanks from happening. Honestly both issues could just be fixed if you have good positioning. If you think your TD games are boring chances are you're being too passive in the backlines so I guess your point still stands its just a bit weird.
Why I dont grind the line? It s painful. Chinese stock are painful and they cost so much xp. I still think that japanese are worst but yeah if you look for an anwser I think that the line is to painful and is not attractive because noobs don’t see the stats. They look at the size of the gun and the tank that is why they drive german SH or fv215b where there is so much better tanks
