Hi Lisa! You were such a help and inspiration to me when I started doing polymer clay jewelry about 2 or so years ago. Ive always loved your tutorials and got so much out of them. Fast forward to 2023, my business getting off the ground is PAINFULLY slow, exhausting and frustrating. I am so excited about The Slow Haus. I think its exactly what I need to get this thing moving! Its so important to follow ones heart. I will not give up striving to make my dreams come true and The Slow Haus is going to be a big help in getting me there! Thank you💕
I have just recently bought my first ever batch of Polymer clay, just to make jewellery for myself, i’m finding it difficult and i have watched a lot of your videos online, good luck with everything you do, in your personal and business life ❤
I have been a home crafter for my whole life…but considering some changes…and could use some coaching about new tech (website and videos). Looking forward to hearing more!
Well done Lisa! Your tips' videos in the past helped me a lot, and I was in awe of the time you spent sharing your knowledge. So happy that you overcame like a goddess your 2022 struggles, to give birth to such a beautiful project. all the best for this new chapter, so sad I do not live in Portland to come follow some workshops in person!
Hey Lisa, best wishes for your new adventures! I remember discovering your channel three years ago when I began getting into polymer. You inspire a lot of people with your creativity, passion and knowledge. - your neighbour, Julie 🇨🇦
I began my business in 2020 as well and you were one of the main channels/makers that I drew insight and inspo from. It has been QUITE a time for me as well these past few years, but, I finally feel ready to jump back into my creative talents with more clarity and light to share. I would love to work with you in the very near future, I think you’d have great perspective on what it is I see myself doing moving forward. Congrats on everything and thank you so much for your transparency 🤍✨
I’m so excited for you and your next adventure; your videos really got me started in the clay making world and I’m so thankful for them! I can’t wait to start to see you regularly on here and I hope your channel takes off even more than it already has!!
Yooo, welcome to Portland! This is my hometown too! Super excited about the Slowhaus! I have a largely non-successful Etsy business for my resin and polymer work, and I struggle with trying to get it off the ground because of my day job. Super looking forward to your future vids and what Slowhaus will have to offer in terms of education. Thanks so much for sharing!
Do you mind sharing where you purchase posts for studs and hooks for dangling earrings? I’ve had the worse luck with getting decent ones for the price.
It’s so difficult because I been doing polymer clay earrings for almost 2 years and only made 10 sales 😭 I’ve gotten good reviews too but it’s so hard to continue because it’s not going well and I feel like my earrings are super cute )):
hey!!! maybe i could help you. could you link your website / biz socials so i can review them and maybe give some tips as to why you aren’t selling ??:)
Judging by the fact that she never post anything again and that she started this polymer clay busines in pandemic, im guesing her as lot other girls just starting to do this polymer busines or so cuz it was "on trend" during pandemic and they just wanted anything to do with that free time we used to have, I mean for those who were involve on arts im more than sure its something you do till this day and even you mastered into something else, but I see a lot of creators of polymer clay mostly jewelry that tell the same story over and over again, you should do something that you really like to do and not something that you do just cuz every body its doing it, that sad and a waste of time 🤷🏻♀️
Please make sure you do an adequate amount of research on whatever topics you decide to promote. Some of your polymer clay videos as a 20 year veteran working with polymer. Clay are full of misinformation and really bad practices. Not that they weren’t fun and entertaining, but there’s enough people making polymer clay videos that are just regurgitating the same myths , bad ideas, really poor practices when handling or working with polymer clay at all times during the process from opening the path to the final finish
I’m wanting to start making earrings with polymer clay. Do you have any particular RU-vid videos you would suggest to watch that don’t have misinformation?? I’ve watched heaps and don’t want to get it wrong when making them 😂😂
