I think functional strength in this case is how does being strong fit into like being a basketball player. I think functional strength specifically for basketball relates to being able to create contact and not lose balance, bumping in the air or on drives while staying coordinate and stuff like that, being able to hold your position if you’re trynna score in the post, lmk if that makes sense
