Hearing you go thru your 2020 I was shaking my head remembering all the “life updates” you gave us. Just wanted to know someone was listening and going through that with you. With all the bad, you and your family have been a light for me. You always make me smile with your hello kiddy shenanigans. Not to mention the actual teaching us how to take care of our hair, and even actually answering my questions when I have them. The haircut looks great. Looking forward to 2021 hanging with you. I totally get it with the hot water heater. I have a family of 7 and boiling hot water for bath and everything. Made me appreciate hot water on a total different level 🙏🏾. When it was finally replaced after two weeks, my children thank God and realize how they take things for granted.

My hair was a little longer than yours and I got a very similar hair Cut cause my friend wanted to big Shop but wouldnt do it alone. I cant belive I havent done this before, I can whash my hair in 10 minutes and it doesnt need detangling; the second time I whased it I almost cry of happiness 😂😂.

Get a bucket heater for the tub from tractor supply. I ve been there with out a water heater for months and learned some tricks until I finished my house (its finished). I never take hot water and showers for granted again. I love a good bath but not twice a day.

I've bought 3 houses over 15 years using FHA financing, and ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY DOWN. Tricks are, you must have a 700+ credit score. Pay your bills on time each and every month and keep your debt to credit ratio low to get a score like this. Have 6 months of house payments in an account that you have not touched in AT LEAST 3 months to have "seasoned" funds available. Your banker doesn't want you to use that money. They just want to know that you have it available in case your life goes south. That's it! This is the secret. Go get yourself a home, no money down. And I mean no money down. Put all closing costs on the BACK END OF THE LOAN. You will really only have to pay for the appraisal real time. This raises your operating costs by about $4,000, but what do you care? You're getting into a house for free. You move in and start paying the mortgage. I HAVE DONE IT THREE TIMES. Once you're in the home, get a homeowners equity line of credit (HELOC). It can be used to pay your mortgage off in HALF THE TIME without penalty and without killing yourself. BTW, I am a California business and real estate attorney. I know what I'm talking about.

OMG! If I didn’t love you before, the reality of letting us see your life in all its glory helps me to absolve you even more now. Child my hot water heater just broke on CHRISTMAS! My husband ordered the part and it came after 4 days! Lugging my huge collard green pots to the bathrooms was TORTURE! But we are a beautiful, creative, adaptable people.

I feel your pain with the hot water heater and I hope that gets fixed soon. My furnace went out the weekend after Christmas. Talk about being extremely grateful when everything was fixed.

I use Listerine for my hair it really gets rid of dandruff really well, do you have any advice or what are your thoughts. My dandruff has been less since I've been using Listerine last year in 2020 so I feel really good it's working out great because I hate scratching my head 24/7 and shampooing every other day.

I hope your water heater is fixed! If not, try an electric water kettle. You can plug it in in the bathroom and have a shorter trip to the tub with a faster boil although you will lose quantity. The water will be extremely hot so you may need less to make a warm bath. Also put cold in the tub first so you don’t warp the bathtub.

You were visibly distraught as you shared how he had mentored and loved you like a biological Father would develop his son. No doubt, your lovely family, and friends also shared your immense pain and disbelief at the time of his death. I didn't comment on that video. I simply prayed that God would give you, your beautiful wife, and girls the strength to endure your enormous loss. As Christians, we all know our loved ones are at peace when they leave this earthly dwelling place. We also know that we know they are now rejoicing in a far better place; nonetheless, more often than naught, it is so difficult for those of us left behind to let go. So naturally we mourn. We loved them so much. It is expected that we cry tears of sorrow, both male and female. Fast forward to this video, and your demeanor brings new life to the scripture reference: Joy comes in the morning! You appeared completely revitalized. Your Dad would be so proud of you knowing you put ALL those valuable resources and wisdom he shared with you over the years to good use. Yes. You grieved. You may still be grieving because each of us grieves differently. Despite your despair, you did exactly what he taught you to do. You got through that difficult period by staying the course, starting your new job, helping the girls with math, loving your wife, taking good care of your mother and yourself! You did all the things and more that he prepared you for. He purposefully nurtured because he knew he'd have to the pass the baton to you and others someday. He nurtured you in hopes you'd recall all the taught you. And listening to you describe your 2020 year, you did not disappoint. Without hesitating, you courageously cladped onto that baton for dear life, and you swiftly ran into the future with it. You continue pressing, walking, and running toward the mark just as he had to do at several junctures during his life. Your Father has personally heard God say, "Well done my good and faithful servant." So we as Christians we strive to one day her God utter those same impactful words to us someday. Who could ask for anything more than this? Incidentially, I was thrilled your wife like your hair. She has extraordinarily good taste. It looked very professional and nice. I understand the struggle of not having hot water. My heater was broken for 2 weeks and then I had a busted pipe underneath the house that was causing the hot water to leak under the house..😭

Thank you for sharing your health issues: it's not TMI cuz it's not frivolous sharing, it's spreading awareness. My grandma broke her hip in October and it was so heartbreaking knowing she could only have ONE visitor per day: this woman had NEVER lived alone, but was now spending most of her days with strangers 😔 Praise God, she got out of the hospital w/o covid-19 and is walking with a walker 🙌🏾 Math during the pandemic: PAY TEACHERS MORE! We parents are (clearly) not worthy!
