We couldn't even be friends after we broke up cause he had zero boundaries and kept texting/trying to get back together. I'm sorry you're stuck in this situation, if I were you I'd say fuck the money and go live with your mom and brother (or find a short term lease for an apartment), maybe this is even a life milestone where you find a new job with a higher position and better pay. The girl dating her boss situation. It seems like the excitement of the relationship has worn off. There was this power dynamic of this older man in a position of power secretly dating this younger women. It seems as she got older / promoted the loss of the power Dynamic. Him going from be this bad boi. To some Boomer that wants kids. In a sense locking her down. It's not what she's about. She's young , talented , and has tons of potential. But this dudes reached his potential already. The whole situation isn't as hot as it used to be.

I feel like this is coming purely from a woman's perspective a lot of the times I have broken up with a guy and then had to continue living with them they made my life not only a living hell but they would also do things maliciously to make staying there harder or make it feel unsafe. Maybe she wouldn't want to put that kind of perspective out there but maybe it was also a self-preservation tactic to try and get out of this with as little drama and as little headache as possible

There's clearly more going on than what she said. She mentioned when they started hooking up that he said she would get "perks" and that "he would look after her", which she seemed to give the impression that it didn't happen.. however, all of a sudden she gets this big promotion at "corporate" and leaps over him. It seems that these "perks" could have been better treatment and favouritism in the workplace, which let's be honest.. if you're boning each other you're going to give each other this and if you're a boss you can do more than the employee can. Now she finds reasons why it doesn't work because perhaps she has got all she needed and he has nothing to provide her anymore. The "perks" are gone. She also mentioned money. As in he owes her for some holiday stuff.. she was willing to lead him on and continue lying to him to get her money back..FOR 6 MONTHS! this displays malicious and manipulative traits in her character.
