You can save a lot of time, energy and money by not caring about finding a ps5.

The same thing happen with the Switch. The prices got insane and I lost interest.

I was in the same boat bro. I literally stayed up till 5 for a week straight waiting for the Target drop 2 weeks ago. I followed Twitter pages and I don’t even have Twitter. But in the end, it was all worth it. I got the Ps5. Literally seen every store run out of stock until there were 4 left in my county. Heard a streamer say that a follower spammed the checkout button for 10 minutes straight and got through! So once I heard that, I spammed checkout for about 2 minutes. And it worked! Before spamming checkout, I was changing stores and then trying to checkout. I’ve since, gotten the pulse headset, and the remote comes in today. Shout out to TARGET. I started my year off with a BANG! Good luck to everyone that reads this and is still searching.

I can’t stand it when these companies (Sony) feed the scumbag scalpers. They know that’s all their doing when they have such a small number being released with launch. I’m done searching as well. I’ll wait 6 months...

I understand your pain, I've been trying to secure for so long. I've been through the pain of staying up from early morning to evening, waiting for drops only to have bots swoop them up, everything selling out in seconds. I was then lucky with the huge best buy drop on the 7th. If you want one right now, it requires so much sacrifice, but man is it worth it once you secure. The feeling of finally securing after so much hardship is heavenly.

I agree with you 💯 I was trying the same thing for a while trying to get a PS5. Failed every time so I’ve pretty much given up trying. All this crap took the fun out of getting a new system when it’s released and like you I refuse to pay scalpers prices. Someday I will buy a PS5, when I can walk in a store and just buy it...until then I will be playing my PS4 I guess.

Sony and Microsoft didn’t fail us, the scalpers and bots failed us, freedom for them to do things like this failed us, if you don’t really have to have a PS5 right now wait, by April they will be everywhere, but if you feel you have to have one now, it’s gonna cost you some sleep, they come out around 5:30 am in the morning and you have to be persistent, there are people on RU-vid that can help you like Scrubbings, who helped me get mine.

There were and are 2 issues but they are being resolved as I type... 1. Sony admitted they messed up by not producing enough 2. The Bots (Scalpers) We getting a drop today and prolly every week for the next month or 2, now where or what store? 🤷🏾‍♂️ You will be able to get one in store by April. The break that Sony is taking is to figure out to deal with the Bots for us gamers to have the opportunity to purchase ourselves. Just a Lil more patience

I’m fully convinced that theres never been a restock since launch day and that everyone who claims they have a new gen console secretly works for Microsoft or Sony.

As a person who got a ps5 from a scalper. Everyone please wait. I wish I would have waited because it really wasn't worth it to jump up and buy one. Most of the games aren't really even out yet. Im still playing my ps4 for the most part. The only games I really play on the 5 are cold war, Valhalla and spiderman. All of which you can get on ps4 anyway. I know it might not mean much but honestly I wish I had waited because I just barely use it at the moment

I don't have time to wait around, therefore I'll get it when they have full stocks, and the scalpers can kee their overpriced ps5s.

Facts my bro well said we are twins and I told my nephew it’s ok I will get him one he understood I love him for that I had too many nasty unprofessional conversation with all the major stories managers for how they treated this but they employees and friends and managers got them I had inside info on that but when I worked in those stores my managers used tell me the customer gets first and we get second I respected it even though I worked hard in there but at the end still got one after most customer received it this is the life we live in the internet can’t be trusted stay blessed be safe 🙏🏻

I say give it time ps5 could show up eventually. in the mean time there may other games that worth checking you out. Right now even though I have ps5 I own my sister currently playing right now. I have bunch games that worth time at moment for me I am not rush play ps5 right now.

There is no real reason to stress over the ps5 right now. There is no exclusive unless you’re a big Demon Souls fan and even that is a remaster. Hopefully by the time the next gen exclusives come out. The Ps5 will be easier to come by
