If you see this, I dont care if I get banned or block you need to see this, but that is the legit last part with spider that bad. Get past that and it'll change scenery and enemy types COMPLETELY. If it was on PS5 he could've just used SharePlay to let one of his homies control this section. One of my buddies have Arachnophobia and that's what I did for him in Chapter 4. Edit: IDK why some people interpreted this as a diss towards PC and started the whole Console vs PC stupid debate again, I was just saying what I did to help my friend out on a PS5. I don't own a PC so I'm not informed enough about anything similar of the SharePlay function on PC so I didn't include that in my comment.

As a fellow arachnophobe, I totally understand the anxiety that overwhelms you with sensory overload. Makes me feel like that Tyler1 meme where he's screaming "GET THIS SHIT OFF ME AHHHHHHH". If it makes things any better my phobia stretches to absurd levels of paranoia. When I see a spider in a game, I go into fight or flight and suddenly hyper focus on every tiny feeling on my skin and if ANYTHING feels off (goosebumps have gotten me sometimes), I flip out like I'm on fire. I believe in you Afro, if I get the game I'm gonna push through that section for you man, and myself, but mostly for you man.

have you ever tried fighting your phobia? idk where you live, but I don't know of any dangerous spiders here. at most they will bite you because they are scared that they are now on some massive giant hairy flesh bag that passed through their web, which is nothing worst than a mosquito bite. If it's the case for you also, maybe try to anthropomorphise them (putting a human "way of thinking" on something that is not human, like we do with pets and so on). They are not evil, they are just trying to catch some bugs for some snacks enough to live long enough to mate and make offsprings. If you can, maybe some nice little videos of jumping spider pets jumping off their humans to catch flies and stuff can help seeing spiders as not as much as a threat as you see them now. "fear is the mind killer" as they say in dune lol. In our western culture we see spiders as dangerous evil creatures most of the time. A spider is rarely a good entity in a story, mostly representing something dangerous or evil. I'm not trying to judge, just being chatty and hoping to maybe say something useful. at worst it'll be just one more dumb thing I said on the internets hahaha

He wouldn’t be able to enjoy the game anyway. The ending of the chapter boss has you fight with 3 spider ladies with the main boss half spider. There’s no way he continues even if he made it past this part

I believe Its shame to say that we fear some little insects in many cultures around the world. Many of us forced to face our fears since very little, that's why we growing up immune and none have no "arachnophobia" in our life. Western society highlighting it and giving it a word and label it as "arachnophobia" and have people avoid them all the time, make it worst.

Arachnophobia, an even more unfair boss than Promised Consort Radahn. My arachnophobia is mild to semi serious, like spiders the size of a fingernail, don't bother me. However, if they're the size of my palm or bigger, I will have a full-on panic attack that will kill me. Those spiders weren't that big, but the sheer number of them would have given me the same reaction.

The spider flood part is really really short, and you can pretty much just run straight forward for about 20 seconds and youll reach the end. If you make it passed that youre basically at the end of the chapter.
Yeah secret area is there and the end boss quite strange was how none of them realised it’s basically impossible to get through there without healing at least once
@@user4452 through the spider flood? Ive gone through it all 3 times on all 3 of my playthroughs without taking damage at all. Just dont stop to look at the spiders and they shouldnt catch up to you, especially if you use cloud step for more run speed.
Maybe theres some rng to the spider spawn locations then idk. I just held forward and stayed near the edge of the cliff on the right since they were all over the walls on the left

I don’t even know if I have arachnophobia or not but when I saw the flood of spiders sent my instincts kicked in and I opted to get out of there as quick as possible.
A good way is to do the peak-a-boo method by opening your eyes for a second then closing it instantly, this way you minimise your risk of seeing the spiders and you’ll know where the path is. And to add on to not being to see the spiders, you could also not wear your glasses.
afro if you're gonna beat this part, you need to confront your fear. fuck that going on a walk shit, stop closing your eyes, you just gotta do it. this gonna sound dumb but I was terrified of the dark for the longest, but I wanted to play fnaf 4, I had to confront my fear of the dark to do it. I tried closing my eyes, using other ppl to look and hear, none of it worked until I sat myself down, glued myself to the screen and confronted it just straight up. No joke I was terrified, I wanted to cry, piss, AND shit all at once, but I didn't want that to stop me and these spiders won't stop you big dawg.
