I appreciate you being so real in this video. Those first 12 weeks after having a baby are SO hard especially as a new mom. It's a whole life adjustment. I was crying allll the time lol but it gets better! You've got this!
I really admire how real you're portraying newborn days both here and on Instagram! My second is 5 months so I feel like I just caught my breathe again haha. You're doing amazing!
20 weeks tomorrow and getting suuuper nervous about having baby here! please keep up the vlogs as much as you can.. i love seeing a real life version of bringing home baby
Aw Chris’s time with her kinda freaking out about her crying and figuring out how to heat it with a baby crying their head off must have been how my boyfriend felt with my son the first time I left them alone together just a month or two ago 💚 makes me appreciate my man even more thank you guys!
Haven’t even watched the video yet, but wanted to preface with saying we had our first in January and post-partum is no joke. I was not prepared for how much it would affect me. So. Many. Emotions. So. Many. Tears. It’s okay to not be happy every second and to miss how life was prior to baby. You are not alone!
Y’all are doing a great job! I am 8 mo pp with our first born and the first 2.5 months specifically like week 2-10 were the hardest for me. Also, I love how you just let those tears fall! I cried so much the first 6 weeks. I would literally wake up sobbing, be pumping and sobbing, breastfeeding and sobbing, laughing and sobbing. Baby blues are real, let it out and hubby keep supporting.
I absolutely love how real you & Chris have been with adjusting to parenthood! I can only imagine how hard it could be sharing things that aren’t sunshines & butterflies but it’s so appreciated & relatable. Wishing y’all all the snuggles & love 💛
I love your perspective on everything. Especially with a newborn and postpartum. Thank you for being so honest about it all! Really love watching you and Chris and now baby Emerson! Can’t wait to continue to watch your journey!
First time watching your videos! what I love is that you don't feel like you have to curl your hair and put on fake lashes and a full face of makeup to have a baby! Thank you for being real and raw and showing the world that birthing a baby is not the time to be "done up"! Congrats!
Thank you!! And oh yeah I’m usually on here with no makeup 😂😂😅 I know it helps other people feel ready for the day and is a must but I’ve always had other things higher on my priority list🤷🏼♀️
You’re incredible. Commenting because you’re on screen in a bikini right now. Girl you’re real and giving yourself grace and adjusting so well. Baby routine shifts about every 2 weeks at first. These videos will be fun to look back at in a few years when you’re out of your sleep deprived haze.
I have an 8 month old who is my second and post partum is NO JOKE! Sometimes you’ll wonder what you’ve gotten yourself into and miss the days pre-baby. I remember waking up and dreading another day with a crying newborn. But then they become SO CUTE and start to develop their personalities. Hang in there during the tough days. It gets better!! And you’ll have wonderful days too!
My little one is now 6.5 months so it wasn’t that long ago I was in your shoes. If I’ve learned anything so far it’s that everything changes so fast. You think you’ll never sleep again, you think breastfeeding will be hard forever but it always gets better!
You are and Chris are such cute parents! Congratulations:) those baby snugglies/wraps are amazing. ( I think it makes the baby feel like it's the womb) Sometimes the baby just wants to feel you 24/7.
I can totally relate to the emotions. I would weep til our baby was about 5 weeks old for all kinds of reasons. Just let the tears out and don’t worry or feel embarrassed about it, your body is adjusting to all the hormones xx
She I absolutely adorable. Congratulations!!! Btw you look great way to go to keep up the workouts. So many women feel like they can’t workout or lift while pregnant and it’s so not the case 💪
You’re doing such a great job! Also, night sweats are so real and due to hormones! Been loving your content! Do like the longer videos! Could you talk about how you got into Vlogging and the logistics you had to figure out- editing software, how googleswnse works, etc. how to support a family with ur!
As a mom of three…TAKE THE HELP WHEN SOMEONE OFFERS! Lol I never really had any help and it was hard! My husband went back to work the day after all my babies were born! And soak it all up girl!
Congrats you guys!! I just want to say i love what you two are about - the realness/rawness of this video, all the feels, and the acceptance/gratitude you have for your body. So so inspiring 💛 What's the brand of the swimsuit you're wearing at the very end?
Kelly what nursing tank were you talking about at the beginning of the video? It’s looks like the KB bamboo one but I can’t tell for sure. I’m due in 2.5 weeks and still need to pick up some things like nursing tanks. Thanks 😊 it’s been so fun following this journey since you’re about a month or so ahead of me and my baby.
So happy for you guys! Soak in every second of that newborn bubble! Had my first baby 3 months ago and really appreciate the realness of this vlog ❤️ You guys are doing great! Tried the lovevery link but it didnt work?
Congratulations and so happy for you. Just one thing I have to say that try not to swing so much when you hold the baby or try so swing in a very slow and stable way if you have to do it. It is not necessary to always swing/sway when hold the baby, also too much swing is not good for the baby brain development according to a research paper I learned when I had my son. Of course ignore me if you already know or do not buy into it, just a suggestion I feel I have to say:)
My daughter was allergic to milk as soon as I cut that out of my diet including protein bars containing milk protein she was a new baby just a new mom tip!
You guys are amazing parents! Love watching your videos! I’m a little behind on RU-vid. Have you tried laying her on her stomach on your arm and rock her back and forth when she’s cranky? Could be gas bubbles.
🥹 just awesome. Good job guys, handling everything like champs!!! She’s beautiful, you’re beautiful and it won’t always be easy but it will always be worth it!
