You were mentioning about continuing your walking when you move, In the winter, you can go and walk inside the malls before they open.

Hi Daphne. I’d be willing to bet that once your house goes up for sell it’ll sell quickly. Here in the south houses are flying off the market. My nieces’ house went on the market. A day and a half later it was pending a sale. The ppl were pre-approved so they closed in 3 weeks. Start to finish, 3 weeks 2 1/2 days. I can certainly appreciate the “what if’s”. It’s some times hard to not worry about the future. Especially when you have something big happening. You’re not just moving g, you’re moving out of the country. I don’t know any woman who wouldn’t be doing the guessing/worrying thing. Love the painting! If you replace the black tree with a green, would it be pixie dust drills? That would be so pretty but, it MIGHT take away from the girl. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Have a great day! Try to not worry TOO much! Blessings to you! ❤️

My daughter and her family moved to Canada about 15 years ago. They lived in Saskatchewan until 2 years ago when they moved to Alberta. They have dual citizenship which has worked out well now that the kids are college age giving them more options. First daughter just graduated from college in Colorado and second is starting college in Edmonton. They love it in Canada.

That one looks fun! So much to think about for your move! I would be all over the what ifs, if I were in your shoes. My hubby is much like yours, very good with the flow and just listens very patiently to all my ramblings.

Walking -- it all depends on which province youre moving to. In southernmost part of ontario we dont walk in january or fabruary. We could, but the (big) dog shakes bc hes cold. Some places get snow in oct/nov. And some until May ! Internet can be expensive here. Get fiber or cable internet tor sure. Its all gonna be fine If not, keep looking for a solution :)

Breathe, it sounds like a lot. Lol however it's not that big of a deal. 1. In both countries you're going to still file taxes the same way. Your probably going to still file the standard tax bracket. And you go have someone do them for you the first couple of years, make them explain it to you. 2. If they don't have good internet, you can pay by the month to upgrade it. 3. They make all this fuss about moving from Canada to the USA and USA to Canada. The minute you walk across the border the fuss is over. Litterly feelings like the same country. 😅 I mean thier are some minor adjustments. But it's not that big of a deal. 4. The money cost. First remember that the money changes, sometimes the us dollar is worth more and sometimes the Canadian dollar is worth more. Let me tell you a secret, it's never more than a dollar. Most of the time it's USA 1$= Canadian 1$ and 10 cents ect. 20$ US dollars= 22$ Canadian dollars. Do things cost more in Canada, it actually depends on how far in the country you go. And how far the nearest big town is. For the most part no it doesn't cost more. However cotton is more expensive. Tee shirt is 10$ instead of 5$. Jeans cost more. Actually it feels like it cost less, because thier is no sales tax, added at the end of purchasing. And it all evens out at the end of the year. I have both moved from the USA to Canada and from Canada to the USA. The paper work and bs before you go is the worst part. Pics of advice my grandma always told me. Quite stressing out, it's going to be the way it's going to be. 1. You can't fix anything by stressing. 2. It causes all kinds of health problems. And most importantly, you'll miss the good things, because your stressed out. It will be okay, because if it's not, the story isn't over. Look at this as a great adventure, think about the wonderful things your gonna see and do. Plus Canadians are very nice and friendly, and helpful. Much more than Americans. As a Canadian and a American, I hope this helps.

Being a US citizen definitely sucks for taxes. We have TFSAs Tax-Free Savings Accounts in Canada but you'd just get hit with US tax anyway. And lottery winnings are tax-free here but again you'd have to still pay Uncle Sam. Is your husband a US citizen or just a resident? Maybe get him to buy the lottery tickets 😅

I hated tax time . Charging ridiculous amounts and charging for every piece of paper . End up throwing a stack of paper away . Happy I don't have to file anymore .
