Colleen I was so curious about the black glass that you found. So I looked it up and this is what I found. black amethyst art glass . The amethyst refers to the purple color when subjected to light. This type of glass was made by LE Smith Glass and Tiffin Glass during the art deco period. (1930's) Tiffin, however, usually did silver overlay details on their pieces. I would think this is an LE Smith Glass piece and I would give it a value of 30.00. So freaking cool

Hi Colleen! Not really a tortilla talk question but you should totally live stream whenever TTPD comes out so we can all react live together!!!

I found my FIRST pieces of pirate glass on Friday and the flutter my heard did was amazing! I only found out it existed a few months ago and I’ve been collecting sea glass forever I cannot believe you have those colours!! I’m also glad you addressed the “off white” pieces because today I was organising my seaglass in to colours and I didn’t know what to do about that. The blues and pink tints are obvious next to white but not on their own and I just don’t know what to do 😂 Another thing I do with sea glass Is put teeny pieces in to a mini jar then put a label on the bottom with the date and beach I found them on so I get to remember where all of the glass combined comes from. They’re all mixed colours though. I feel so dull being this excited to tell someone all this but no one else really gets it, they humour me but they don’t get why I want broken glass and rocks 🤣

I agree that the found sea glass has a different/special place versus tumbled/made "sea" glass. However, i can see where tumbling your own would be great for DIYs when you want a specific color or size.

Hi Colleen, I think with glass you tumbled you should make some sort of collage. Also I had the opportunity to see Taylor Swift with my daughter but I let her take a friend instead so that she could have the best experience. You have to get an illuminated portable microscope, they make rocks look INSANELY cool. Especially geodes, they have some that have black and white light options. My son and I love checking out our finds with these. They look like little ailen dioramas almost. I promise you won't regret it, game changer.
