The relation between geo and Cole is a big thing in the community I think. Like yeah they could be gay they could be good friends but some people forget that it’s literally just a ship like all of the others. It’s fine to not ship it. The problem is the number of people who hate like HATE the ship and mainly because it’s gay. Like imma be honest I thought Cole was gay like in the beginning of ninjago. I mean the episode with his dad and when Cole is saying to him that he doesn’t want to be a singer was so gay coded

I would want Jay to come back, but I'm hoping when he does. It isn't the same exact problem his character had in the recent seasons. I'm hoping it can be a restart to his character, and fix the gripes I had with him for a while. Like his childlike personality taking over, or having Nya constantly be a part of his character all the time. I feel like what they were doing with him is a breath of fresh air, he's finally having development and independence for once. We hardly see that

One problem of Dragons Rising, that is ignored by every youtuber, is bond between Lloyd and Sora. More correctly, its non-existance. They are supposed to be a team, but it feels like Arin is the only thing that keeps them together. And it wouldn't bother me if they didn't have so many parallels: abandoned childs, who grew up in toxic society, who were betrayed by friend/idol (Pythor and LaRow), who made a terrible mistake (serpentines/photacs), who have issues with parents, who inspired people on rebellion against tyranical ruler. Am I the only one who thinks so?

It's really crazy to me how people are really angry about Cole being gay, I mean homophobes have been around forever, but like, When I was younger, I watched Ninjago up until season 5, and Cole was always my favorite, during my Ninjago marathon with a friend of mine last year, the first thing we noticed It was like how Cole's entire development in the first seasons was easily relatable to LGBT people, I even thought there was already a consensus in the community that he was gay, I was surprised when I saw that a good part of the community couldn't imagine this or were even irritated by it

Idrk if this is 100% true, but I’ve heard that Jay is turning evil next season and that next season will have a tournament or something. Based off of those two theories, I think it could be a really good opportunity to reintroduce Neuro (sorry if I spelled it wrong) back into the plot. Maybe he could fight in the tournament and help the ninja. The main reason I think bringing him back would be great because if the ninja find out Jay is evil, Neuro could read his mind. Neuro reading Jays mind could give us some more info about Jays life after the merge and could just give us more information about what has been happening with him in general. Alright. Let me run through all of these hot takes and see which ones I agree with, disagree with, or mixed on. 2:00 I agree with this. Jay getting only a couple of quick scenes is a great way to build up the whole Evil Jay storyline. 3:31 I agree. Cinder was a cool antagonist, but he does need a backstory to be fleshed out in the future. 4:31 I disagree with literally everything mentioned here. 6:29 I definitely disagree. I like Egalt. He’s a Dragon ninja master that knows Spinjitzu. What’s not to like about him. Also, him being a jerk is justified. He was a sickness plus one of his eyes got hit with a rock, so it makes sense why he acted like that. 7:36 Disagree. The whole reason why the Ninja went to learn Rising Dragon was to counter Shatterspin, so it objectively makes sense to give the villains access to Shatterspin early on. 8:15 I’m mixed. I don’t really care if Arin has an elemental power or not, so I don’t have any to say about this. 9:37 I disagree. I think it’s great that Ras took control of Nokt, it showcases how villainous Ras is. Also, Part 2 isn’t out yet, so the forbidden five will definitely get some kind of role at some point. 11:08 Agreed. I’ve been enjoying how Jordana has been handled so far, and I can’t wait to see what they do with her in part 2 whether she’s been possessed by the Forbidden five or not. 12:06 I’m mixed. I don’t really know what to say to this. 12:55 Disagree. I would rather have DR S3.

I like the Cole and Geo ship, there's nothing wrong with being gay but that's just my opinion, I enjoyed Cinder in DR Season 2 Part 1 and Arin doesn't need an elemental power at all.

Since his Ninjago Movie remake, I have taken a disliking to Jay, probably because he has lost his sense of humour and, in general, his personality. As a result, his lack of screen time and his disappearance in the show has not really bothered me much as I feel that other characters seem to be taking centre stage with good character development (e.g. Kai and Lloyd).

12:03 im pretty sure he's talking about the fact that lloyd pays no respect to kai after he's replaced with one of the forbidden 5 at the end of part. I mean, lloyd does outwrite say that arrin helped the ninja win. You just lost kai it is not a win unless you don't care about him. Also another major complaint about the episode(in my opinion) is that wasn't kai's soul technically shattered therfore he should not be able to be replaced for one of the 5. Anoying but the lore does not clarify if the soul has to be completely shattered(like to the point of cinder). Clarification on that would be nice.

The Jay take is the BEST take. Cinder is a good character too. Definitely dialed down throughout the part but the interactions show just how power hungry he is I enjoy Egalt as well, though it is difficult to listen to him, mainly just with Arin interactions. Ans I don’t think there’s anything to Cole and Geo in that sense either. They’re definitely just good friends to say the least, and we know how Cole’s character is.
