She remembered her saying "when I found my garden, I nurtured it fiercely!" She also remembered how she loved her father and how unhappy her mother made him. She is happy her father at least found his happiness with someone worthy.
Violet may not have known how love starved her father was. And so was Lady Danbury. They would have been a perfect love match if circumstances were different ❤😊
I think she might've known how her mother is overbearing on him too... And she's a mature lady now, so she understood. I thought she would be over dramatic over this, afterall she's a bridgerton ❤️
She knew her mother to be difficult and cry different from her farther, she understood that Lady Danbury didn't have a love match of a marriage and wasn't so fortune as she was. Violet is graceful as always, she is a smart woman.
I haven't seen all of it. I wonder if the sheer amount of time she kept it in a place of significance and pride could have had something to do with it? It seems to be valued, and implies she thought very much of the one who gave it to her. So if violet does tie in the intimacy between them, could knowing it was an emotional connection as well help any?
She didn't... She didn't want to make scene but she litteraly told her "i knew" with showing of that crowns and they were behaving more formal after that
@@ms_679 I supose she wasn't because she is a lady and they will have to meet each other often anyway. She just decided that close friendship with Lady Danbury is not possible abymore
@@Ballygirl886 she basically found out that her friend there was in love with her father. Mind you the friend is much older and widowed. But in this era having any relationship without the intent to marry wasn't common
He calls her beauty and brains. Beauty in the first statement and brains in response to her follow up statement. He did this nearly every time they spoke in this season
Lord Ledger sadly didn't have a love match. However, he showed his daughter so much love and kindness that she was able to seek that same affection in Lord Bridgerton ❤
If Lady Danbury had an affair with V's father, then Lady Danbury is compensating by being V's friend 😢 People who knew about my husband's cheating are now overcompensating by being my "family" ... 🙄
Partly Violet was understandable about this cuz she is going through with it herself in this situation where her garden is “blooming”😂 and plus she knew her parents weren’t married out of being in love most likely since it it’s evident that they didn’t have many children like herself and Edmund 🤷♀️
@@blackmuzicluver35 lol I used voice over to correct the problem and it still changed to Aemond cuz of auto correct. Lately I have been leaving comments for HOTD so the names I type the most it, it autocorrects it to that😂😅 there is a word in Hindi “Aur” that means “and” but somehow it always turns into “sue”.😅🤣 thanks for pointing it out to me☺️
@@h.dungore839 that's an interesting tidbit. Thanks! I just found the idea of an HOTD x bridgerton crossover amusing. I mean, Violet?? I know Aemond is most likely into older/mature women, but I can't imagine wht Violet thought of him.
I watched the first three episodes of Queen Charlotte well over a year ago. Stopped there because life was lifing, and I got distracted by other things. Came back to it last night and watched the last three episodes. I believe we see Violet’s father in an earlier scene? But I didn't remember his face. I didn't recognize him. I thought he was just some rando that Lady Danbury had chemistry with. Then the hat scene, and I was like, "SAY WHAT?!?!" 😂 Violet was so classy about it, didn't even acknowledge it openly, but still made sure Lady Danbury knew that _she_ knew, and that she was okay with it. Love their friendship.
I don't think violet took it as well as an understanding modern woman would. But, she can think for herself and probably connected the dots about this and Agatha's remark about how lucky violet is to mourn her husband's death and confession about how much she loathe her husband. If she really did take it well, she wouldn't have fished the story out of agatha by displaying her own paper crown collection.
Well basically violet's mother was alive but by the conversation between lord and lady it was clear that ledger's marriage was same as danbury's marriage as both were with people they don't feel connected to and love making is just a formality and they understand each other and attracted so even while they both know it would be horrible if came out they had sex once but then decided to go their separate ways and remain in their roles in society even when they could be more .
Because at that day and age a gentlemen do not give ladies that they are not related to gifts unless it is books, flowers, and sweets. A handmade craft is intimate and he doesn't make it for just anyone. It's an intimate gesture.
I heard that Lady Danbury had an affair and maybe a child with Lady Violet Bridgerton's father when she was young. Lady Bridgerton realized it when she saw the hat. Sincerely yours Lady Whistledown😂
@@cassiegariepy5341no child but her garden was tended, however new groundskeepers were hired but the inner garden was never again serviced by that groundskeeper.
Maybe you haven't seen the show..but Lady Danbury (the woman that walked in) slept with Violet's dad and Violet Aka Lady bridgerton just found out because of the crown. When she was young her dad told her the crown he's making is for a friend but she didn't know the crown he was making was for Lady Danbury... Lol I hope you get my explanation 😅
I mean That’s not enough to assume an affair The Dad didn’t keep it a secret fork her or anything 🤷🏻♀️ it COULD have just been that he made one for her because they were close and he noticed she was having a particularly thought time
Lady Danbury was just comforting Violet about being a widow, and yet yearning for the company of a man. I think she also was aware that her father and mother all but despised each other. It wasn't a /total/ jump in logic
