3:57 Man you crack me up every time I see this. I had the same reaction when I heard his spotlight solo on the live tribute album. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. 35 years later and I still haven't reached his musicianship. He was only 25. A Legend who continues to inspire countless people. You've heard the phrase "one in a million" Randy was a one in a billion.

Stop him? Unfortunately, a small plane crash did that in March 1982. Randy Rhoads will always be my favorite hard rock/heavy metal guitarist.

Chicago 25 or 6 to 4 live from Inglewood has also been said to be the best live solo. Highly recommend. A very seldom heard song, My Melancholy Blues by Queen of the News of the World is a great song. Rush YYZ live from Rio is also worth a look. That's a good start.

Keep in mind that this song was perfermed live in 1981 with really crappy sound equipment. State of the art for the time but garbage now. Still sounds great. Has to be divine intervention cus Randy Rhodes (on guitar) was dead within a year of that performance. Here for so briefly and shone so bright. God bless and RIP, Randy.

I was lucky to see Randy Rhodes twice!! I like your reaction but Randy was a right hand guitar player. Your video was backwards, heads up on that. Randy Rhoads was better than Eddie Van Halen, just didn't live long enough to show everything else he had to offer! But even back in the day, he was a better guitar player!
