He walked him down with intensity from the off, taking advantage of Cyrils slow starts. Great gameplan from the guy who's showed the greatest cage iq ever
Yeah... Jones Handled Cryil like he was middle weight that was up against a heavy weight..... I still can't process how easy it was.... grapplers are a different breed
@@firefistace6407 he was incredible, wresting is a must have in the arsenal in mma these days. I was more blown away how he walked gane down from the off, I just didn't expect it , either did Cyril lol
Absolutely impressive how good Jon Jones did against the number one ranked heavyweight title contender Ciryl Gane after over 3 years of layoff, making easy and quick work of Gane, no doubt and debate now about JBJ being the undisputed MMA P4P GOAT. Jon will very likely make quick and easy work of Stipe.
@@wakengemusafiri8575 yeah, i respect 3 fighters stipe, gane and francis, but im all for my goat jones outshining them in every action 7:22pm 05.03.2023
He may be the number one ranked heavyweight but hes also only been training MMA for 4 years, Jon was always gonna dominate him as hes been at the top of MMA for the past 16 years.
I'm pretty sure they do, Jones gets negative reactions for his behaviour outside of fighting, it's pretty excepted that he's one of best to do it though.
Jon Jones His a Real Warrior , His Always Confident before his fight , his got a Clear Vision ! And he alway got the job done ! Miocic Doesn’t have a Chance against this Dude .
Crazy how quick Jones won that fight, he hardly broke a sweat. I wish Francis would come back and we could see him vs Jones in Africa. What a historical event that would be.
Imagine Jones just beat Cyril (the new young quick no1 contender) in March, beats Stipe in July (the consensus best heavyweight of all time) and then defeats Francis in December for the last PPV of the year. The young, the old and the current beasts of HW. That would be tooo sick
He made it look so easy… I think him being actually focused on training & having better people around him it’s over for the HW division & he solidified his legacy as the 🐐 last night. I had him there before this fight but to come back after 3+ year layoff & finish Gane in under a round is absurd
Youngest ufc world champion, longest win streak after been away for 3 years n now two division World champion, he is the 🐐 no doubt the best ufc fighter in history 💪 👊
Good Soap He was in the ufc in less than 8 months of training mma won a title 2 years later. We’re never going to see something like that. Guyw like khamzat who gets hype and rightfully so are way behind what jonew did at their age. I as a champ for 5 years qt this point in tgeir career.
If Ngannou were still in the UFC, I'm not so confident how Stipe would do running it back against Ngannou. Love Stipe and how he carries himself but I think his prime is over at 41 and after getting knocked out brutally
Just like the Reyes fight being the “toughest” for Jones, Ciryls best chance was to just unload on Jon. Letting him dictate where the fight goes, was the end for Ciryl.
Es lo mejor de la historia , tiene un don y no habrá si hay por mucho mucho tiempo un peleador como el venció a lo mejor de lo mejor en sus mejores momentos , único una bestia
I believe him. He's beaten some of the best in Light Heavyweight. Heavyweight is an easy division for him. Not a lot of fighters that can challenge Jones. He's gonna be like Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko of his division. Beating lesser competition and expanding his title defenses.
What exactly impressed everyone so much last night? Was it the misses with all his shots to that point or the immediate tap? The bar continues to drop across the board
When I see this man comeback a better man not in a fighting sense but just seems different in character, reminds me of Tyson fury and his comeback from lifes problems. And what do both have as there reason for this change, JESUS!! 💖✝️🙏 Glory to God
Miocic has not fought for 2 years, his chin is back to it's best, and he is a good wrestler, I think jones can take him down maybe a few times which will make him tired, miocic had great cardio even at 245 Pounds, he will finish jones in championship rounds like he did for cormier. But I'm really happy he beat Gane, very good tactique, nothing new, we knew jones is a great wrestler, I was more interested in his stand up and cardio at Heavyweight.
The more i see the more i think about how Francis decision not to sign the UFC and not fight Jones, or Stipe was absolute genius. Both those guys were training in every way to fight Francis and are going to end up fighting each other. This way he not only gets to see how each of them fight, he can continue to improve his ground game and also have the knowledge of who he will be fighting and prepare for them. And add the possibility that they may take alot out of each other regardless of who wins. If Stipe wins, he will be fighting Francis at 41 after getting damaged by Jones. If Jones wins, possibly Stipe damages him a bit, but if nothing else, it will be a long enough fight to study what Jones does, Not to mention Jones will be a little older and Francis is still looking and feeling young. On top of all of that, the winner of Jones vs Stipe will be for sure without question considered the top heavyweight and therefore drawing a much larger gate than if he fought either one now. He wins big either way. If Jones wins, who wouldn't want to see him fight Jones. It would be five times the ticket if he fought him instead of Gaines. If Stipe wins, he fights the heavyweight with the record of holding the title longest, plus it becomes the best of three. No matter what happens, pretty sure Francis could purchase his own country with what he'll get paid. Very freaking smart move. And don't think for a minute Dana isn't fully aware and probably in on it.
Because he's a black man. They do the same to me even though I never lost a fight and I'm never short of confidence in myself. That's how they doubt us. No one ever doubted Stipe even though he lost fights before but being an undefeated black man is a hell of a project to manage. Fortunately, Jon Jones was already promoted and now he can enjoy his shine despite what people say
@@kokoyaro its not because he’s black lmfao … see that daniel cromier is black too right? Well, he doesnt get the same hate. People are just idiots and judgemental. Jj is the GOAT.
All the whiney neckbeards on Reddit from the last 3 years that have been hating Jones and predicting he would get KO’d in his heavyweight debut are punching air right now. All those long detailed essays talking about how Jon was gonna accomplish nothing at heavyweight amounted to absolutely nothing. Sad times for those individuals. Enjoy the cope.
@@BigsoldierMx u must be a casual that doesnt understand wrestling and ju jitsu… when the difference in skill and experience is too great, its over quick Gane STARTED mma at 25 years old…
Somehow I don't see Stipe being a threat but his will to stay in the game will make him a decent fight for Jon. Stipe will see his own blood a lot when he fights Jon Jones
Jones fought like the most efficient version of the greatest fighter of all time. Won the heavyweight belt off a three year layoff without taking one significant strike.
I honestly don’t know why Stipe would fight Jon jones. He’s old outdated and will get outclassed by Jon Jones. The only thing I could see why Stipe accepts the challenge is for a quick pay day
So much unnecessary GOAT references by the media that it’s becoming a watered down compliment to Jon. Journalists today seem to be very limited in their vocabulary and their ability to use fresh descriptions.
