Thank you for your real and authentic account of a white man visiting a Lagos market. I knew it would be a lot more like this, but RU-vidrs like Indigo Traveler sugarcoat everything and create falsified images of what it's like to be a foreign tourist in areas like this, while covering up the fact he has local bodyguards with him and planned routes etc. Thanks for being honest and keeping authenticity alive on a platform that is favoring disengenous facades with palatable presentation - over truth and authenticity. Great stuff.

One thing people have to contend with in markets like that is continues grabbing of the hand by vendors. Vendors grab your hand to get you to come buy their merchandise, you might have to be a little aggressive to get some of them off you. It’s even worse with ladies. For a foreigner it can be very offensive. They are a little less aggressive when you an Oyinbo though. Tommy might wanna know these few tips, to watch out for Jossey. Tommy will get a lot of attention too there as well.

@Paul Ramos & why is $$$ all they think about ???.....my take is the lack of Christian VALUES..... That leads to tremendous corruption...secularism is why America & Europe are in such decline today too.... People laugh at religion today (& yes it is flawed) but things like the 10 commandments gave moral guardrails to people on how to lead a successful life...
@garyschultz7768
@garyschultz7768 2 года назад
@Paul Ramos America gives them millions of foreign aid (more than any other nation in africa & africa has an abundance raw materials yet it's all stolen by the nation's elites.....& I don't have to experience grinding poverty to understand the problem (although I have) & dx the problem...by your logic a doctor who has never had brain cancer can't understand or cure an illness unless he's had cancer too...LOL....
