PS. If somebody goes into reselling after watching you and Candice on RU-vid at least they will have an honest idea about the work and effort involved in making the endeavor into a sustainable business. Too much reseller click bait make it look like all you need is a dollar and a dream.
Lonnie, I really enjoy listening to your stories on the packing videos. You have mentioned before that you worked at a casino. I would enjoy hearing stories about the interesting people you met at the casino.
Totally agree about information. Information wants to be free. If something depends on obfuscation then you're doing it wrong. In IT we use the term "security through obscurity" which is a bad thing. If your entire IT security depends on keeping a secret, then you will be hacked. That secret will get out one day. I agree that the same idea applies to this trade as well.
Hi Lonnie, Thanks for the packing video. Please do not cut towards your body. I know you have been at this for many years and have good control of the blade but new people learning may not. Please show your viewers how to safely cut the boxes. Always cut away from your hands and body. Also they sell tape dispensers with suction cups so you can pull the tape with one hand. Love you guys. Stay safe and keep having fun!
I completely agree. My sister sharpened knives for many years and took many courses related to this. The one piece of advice that she keeps telling me is that many more injuries occur with dull knives than sharp knives. I think that would apply to dull blades in a box cutter! From the camera angle I see when you are cutting down boxes it looks like your fingers are way too close to the blade. Yikes.
Welcome back from vacation! I want to thank you for showing how to lengthen a shipping box. Today I turned a 21" L x 15" W x 16" H Home Depot Medium into a 24"x13"x9" package of Lego sets, and it didn't turn out *totally* ugly.
