This has become my 2023 game of the year. It is a brutally hard game, but it has never felt slapped together or phoned in. I usually pick my game of the year by how unique a game is while being fun, I've never played a game that has made me feel like this game has and still be so fun.

Well the biggest difference between this and getting over it is that this has an actual proper difficulty curve (and no i don't count how far you can fall as difficulty that's just how much you get punished for failing) Oh also due to the fact that there are a lot of levels instead one giant one means that you can get the satisfaction of completing a level and not have to worry about completely losing your progress Nobody tell Pyro about the late game mountains lmao

The game is genuinely fun when you get the hang of it and don't think of it as rage bait. Honestly the best part for me personally is completing the challenges and enjoying the silly rewards that make the game easier and whatnot like the smoking pipe and wings for some really goofy experiences.
