*Fun Fact:* Man United in their absolute worst season in decades, still managed to scrape together a trophy. Meanwhile, -Arsenal- Bottle FC, in their second-best season in 20 years, ended up with zilch. And no, I’m not a United fan, I just find it amusing how the eternally deluded Assna fangirls keep celebrating mediocrity. Talk about embarrassing!
Even as their biggest rivals, it is good to show support to those who have struggled for so long but finally dug deep and win fair and square. There should be no bad blood in a rivalry. Deep down, they are just players, playing a game they knew since they were a child. The color of the shirt may be different, but every last one of them is player.
My one problem win Eric is the fact that he doesn't have a regular 1st team......each game he interchange a lot and that doesn't give him the real squad to play /game
Shearer got so salty about Newcastle being knocked out of Europe because of United winning again at Wembley (familiar place for him 1999). United have done Newcastle yet again and another trophy to the collection which pisses Shearer off so much. Lineker trying to ask about sack questions because his team can't win any silverware for the longest time. Oh god. Those saltiness
@@kevinbeck6785great player one of uniteds all time greats did his talking on the pitch forget about managing clubs that's not for him simple as that has won everything in the game all time great 😃
@@kevinbeck6785 hes had 2 management jobs. 1 where he took Sunderland from 18th in the championship to winning it....and then keeping them in the premiership until he LEFT. He wasnt sacked. His other job he left the club pretty much as he found it. On balance that makes him a successful manager. Not sure why people comment about things they know nothing about!
This is Roy tho. The ultimate big brother, he will rip you apart, but no one, absolutely no one, can say shit to his little brother, a knack of knowing when to praise from time to time is also a great quality of his. Despite saying many negative thing, but we all know that heart of his is as red as it get.
Would have been much more impressive had he stuck to what he has been saying for months. Team wins one trophy and suddenly all is well. I personally think that the FA Cup saves the season and makes it a fairly successful one, especially given the injuries and Onana making blatant mistakes all over in the 1st half of the season, though we all know Keane thinks piss all of the FA Cup. Tomorrow he will back to moaning.
It’s because city has been winning. When united was winning, sir alex had martin as chief scout, signed bebe, send loan players to help his son at his club, sold beckham and stam. If you win people shut up. Simple.
Respect to City Fans their fans weren’t the greatest at taking defeats in the past, but this crowd was different and respectful for the game of football… from a United Fan, respect
Yeah let’s respect those glory hunting assholes that were doing airplane gestures before the game.. awful fanbase, you never heard a single chant all game from the passionless scum
This was an absorbing Cup Final. City were limited to very few scoring chances, although they had 70 % possession. Utd thoroughly deserve their victory.
Every player has their sweet spot. Remember pirlo was average when he was a number 10, they pushed him back in front of cbs and he was world class legend of the game. Scott is useless in 90 percent of the pitch but in the penalty box he has striker instinct. Bruno is the same, he is top class only in the final third especially centrally. The problem is united never control the game enough for him to get the ball there. Odegaard and ozil went missing when their team didnt have the ball as well.
For the first time in their games, Skipper Bruno Fernandes played number 9 to deceive Man City but the actual No 9 was Garnacho. The two youngsters were set loose to attack and attack and it paid off. Quite a brilliant tactics from ETH. He would have used the other young legs on his bench a lot instead of over- reliance on the tired old legs. He had some youthful defenders and midfielders in his team who were not tested even when the team was doing poorly in the league. A lot of his mid season signings were not good enough and this affected the team’s over all performance. He kept using them instead of trying some youth players in his team who would have developed as good as Garnacho and Mainoo. In this final game, ETH came up with a fantastic selection of first team and a fantastic tactics and it paid off. Congrats to him and the players. Big lesson, don’t rely on big names and your “special players”. Use the best you have.
Respect to Roy. Its true at 1st bruno as captain I was like meh, but he's really developing as a true leader on that pitch, expecially to the younger lads like dalot, garnacho, kobbie, hojlund ect
@@dingchan5197 won the fa cup without a recognised left-back and without a fully fit team when we have all our players back we will be fighting for top 4 you w⚓
@@dingchan5197 ETH has won the Caraboa and FA Cup his first two seasons with the club. Plus his contract expires at the end of next season anyways. Not to mention Chelsea, and Barca are still on the hunt for a new manager as well. Let him finish out next season and if it doesn't pan out, give the man his marching orders.
Greatest midfielder of all time got hooked off whilst hsi team was 2nil down in a final. That would never happen to the likes of Zidane, Iniesta, Modric the players city fans compare him to. Today we saw the Belgium version of kdb
Why do the media keep saying where was this performance all season? FFS… the injuries. We’ve not had a left back for half a season. We didn’t today either… by Dalot has had a few games practise now… Over 30 combinations for the back four alone. Mainoo and Amad injured in preseason. Off the field issues with Sancho, Antony, Greenwood and to a lesser extent Rashford. Club sale drama ongoing…. New keeper. New striker (who arrived injured). No money in transfer window. United played more games last season than any other team. Some players play with minor injuries. This season there’s been no rotational rest for those who are fit. Look at the stats at the end of games… we’ve conceded like never before, but that’s because of a lack of a bench for our defence. Yet we win a trophy and secure European football. Well done the team and particularly ETH having to deal with media fools week in, week out. Remarkable outcome. 🎉🎉
Mctominay fernandes garnacho mainoo were two mobile for cities back four and amrabat was an animal that was a good team performance every man played his part
Criticism and praise is all upon depend players and team performances but what like most about Roy Keane is that he is not biased towards anyone there many pundits who are biased towards manchester united if manchester united win they still give criticism saying that is fluke and manchester city not play at therebest and if manchester united loss then they say finished club, history marchent
Great to here Roy say he was wrong about united he realy gives it from the hip a good day for united city were to nieve and to much celebrating after winning the league
Keep ETH. In this transition period, 2 cups out of 3 finals in first 2 seasons is more than acceptable. Sir Alex need 4 seasons to get first silverware and those league positions in between were bad as well. Give ETH time to see what kind of development he would bring. Keep changing managers is shortsight action and can’t bring long term and continuous success like our legend manager.
Congratulations to man united Every united fan was not happy with the way Bruno was playing and I criticized him too but he has also changed his game recently and it pays dividends. Criticism Make you stronger
City were the better team. United knew what was coming, ten Hag doesn't know tactics? This proves most people wrong. His tactics beat a brillant City team. Varane and Martinez unbelievable defending today, Manio outstanding, Bruno.... masterclass. But Doku. Doku was a game changer, he made City look a lot more dangerous. Great game to watch.
Despite not encouraging performances in the premier league, i think ETH is quite good as compared to mgrs after sir alex. In two years time, he brought 2 cups..league cup and yesterday fa cup.
The cups are nice and gives the players a boost before heading off to the Euro's. There is no doubt 2-3 more need to depart and positions filled with fresh legs. Not enough departed last summer.
Football pundits are not always right it is very difficult to manage world class club like manchester united, most of the pundits n utd fans wanted erik to be sacked but today this manager proved everyone what he is capable of kudos to erik ten hag. These utd fans wants instant result which is not possible it takes time n erik is in the right direction only patience needed I believe in erik . He is the best manager no doubt n have already watched ajax defeating top teams in champions league with young players. Utd fans needs patience.
Man city lost with respect today . As a mad man United fan I have to say how proud I am that Manchester had two Derby finals the last two years . Well done to everyone who contributed to a great day with no problem with the supporters. ❤
I'm listening to Ridiculous commentary about ManUtd only earning 60 league points and also criticizing the way United beat City. That criticism should be directed at ManCity who allowed a team with "only 60 league points" to beat them. That is the story alongside with the great tactical plan by Ten Hag. What does Haaland do for a living?
