Imagine if Nezuko didn't kick Tanjiro up to kill the upper rank demon.... Not only the 3 swordsmith villagers would be killed, but Mitsuri will also be killed and the upper rank 4 will gain the strength and escape just like Akaza

He Didnt sacrifice Neziko To Kill The Demon, She Literally Kicked HIM Off Her. Her Call.

When you said, that it shouldn't be a problem for him to pick his sister rather than the demon and the three people it was chasing, even if he doesn't know them it's his duty as a demon Slayer to save those people , thats the difference between warriors and common people

How could you blame Tanjiro, Nezuko literally kicked him and when she did that he knew he had to go for the demon and saying “why save three people you don’t know” makes it even worse since Nezuko sees everyone as her family and that’s what she would’ve want it

The whole point of the Demon Slayer Corp is to slay demons and protect humans, so "saving people you don't know" is Tanjiro's job and duty. And on top of that the swordsmith villagers are a higher priority rescue since without them, the slayers have no chance against the demons. Nezuko made the decision for Tanjiro

It’s not about the “three people he doesn’t even know” it’s about the many he would kill if he was to get away.

Didn’t you see Nezuko literally kick tanjiro off of her?😅 Tanjiro had a full panic attack and wasn’t gonna leave nezuko so she chose for him. Remember that nezuko also views ALL humans as her family. So she was willing to sacrifice herself to protect those villagers.

Although it seemed wrong at the time, Tanjiro's lingering without a choice and Nezuko making that choice for him actually saved Mitsuri's life; if Tanjiro would've chosen Nezuko as all of us would have, Mitsuri would've died.😊

The fact tanjiro even hesitated to make a choice was wild. Because if he picks nezuko over going after that upper rank. Mitsuri dies. Plus an upper rank escapes more than likely. Nezuko made the choice for him because she knew that to be the better choice as well. Letting a nearly unbeatable demon go when you’re THAT close to winning is an absolute stupid decision. This victory would NEVER be replicated again. Nezuko made the correct choice by kicking him off.

The life of the human being is the most valuable thing. What can get over that? Life of two human beings. There is a real story where a little son got stuck under the rails and his father had to either lower the bridge, save 100+ people or save his son. He saved the people. He killed his son. He is a hero for a reason.

We cant blame Tanjiro. He said she wont let Nezuko get in the way of his Demon Slayer duties. Also, panic attack sucks big time, it was perfectly illustrated here.

This is my favorite Demon Slayer episode ever. The animation and music were gorgeous. And I never cried this much. This season was also my favorite. Masterpiece.

Because everyone risked their lives to pass the baton to Tanjiro in order to defeat the demons. Nezuko made the same decision, what if her brother betrayed it? But I know how you feel.

Nezuko kicks tanjiro off of her to go save the humans and kill the demons and knew the sun was coming up but still wanting to protect them, Suzy: Tanjiro its all your fault 😂

We can’t really get mad at Suzy it was an emotional scene since I had manga spoilers. I knew that Nezuko wasn’t going to die there hence, for I wasn’t mad. But we have to remember that the events of the swordsman village would’ve been catastrophic if he let the demon live.

Nezuko has now become the most important character in the whole show. She’s both the cure to demons and also the one that can make Muzan indestructible if he gets to her

You say you don’t understand, so let me help a little. Sure, Tanjiro could have gone back to Nezuko, but there are two big reasons that would’ve been the wrong choice: first, she wouldn’t have lasted long enough with how much she had already burned up; and second, her kicking him away was her way of making the choice for him. If he had gone back, it would have been a major risk in letting the demon leave and letting those people die for the slim chance that Nezuko would live. He recognized her wishes in that moment and decided to carry them out. If someone sacrifices themself, it’s generally not a good thing to ignore the problem and protect them anyway.

Their bloodline is very special. Tanjiro & Nezuko have very close ties to the first breather swordman.

Fun fact: the blue spider lily blooms very rarely, and only in daylight. Which is why Muzan was never able to find it.

Don't forget, if those swordsmiths died it still goes against the deal with the hashiras where if they died bc he protected his demon sister instead Tanjiro would have to kill himself, as well as Giyu and urokodaki. Nezuko may not have eaten any humans but she was still a reason why humans were sacrificed. That is why Tanjiro was panicking

Don't blame Tanjiro, it was Nezuko's choice, he needs to respect her sacrifice and she also probably need concentrate in herself and not in her brother trying to help her to actually be able to heal herself and resist the Sun.

That’s what makes Tanjiro so much better than all of us I literally would’ve watched those swordsmiths die. 😂

Nexuko made the very human choice to sacrifice herself for others

Well in demon slayer databook had explore Hantengu’s backstory. He was terrible person. He always been liars all his life. Yo points he forgot his real name, age, & own background. He married multiple times and have children. When one wife confronted him about his path. Let say he lose his emotions and killed own family. Then repeat the cycle. Also he steal someone’s stuff. And murder them went try turn him for law. No wonder Tanjiro is determined kill the demon.

This was the best Finale Ever, seeing Nezuko Burning was So Heartbreaking and Awful, and seeing her walking in the sun And Hearing Her Speak made me Melt 😭🥲

If he stuck for nezuko, a few things wudve happened: -Hatengu ate those poor sods, gains enough energy, and he wouldve hauled ass to escape the sun, making their fight for the past several episodes wasted. -Mitsuri woudlve died, since she was still fighting the other hatengu. But nezuko made that choice for him… hence that glorious yeet. That cute little fist clench she did? That was her telling him to do it. Kill that SOAB. But heck, u were crying, we were crying. Everyone was crying. Heck, i read the manga, so i knew this was coming, n i still cried😂

the key to nezuko conquering the sun is her blood ,it constantly changes and adapts to every situation and this might be a reach but her blood demon art is fire with her blood ,so that means she controls it thus making her literally fireproof even in the sun ,so she was the key all along ,to muzan and the slayers

I cry for Nezuko because we all thought that she is going to die but we were happy about her that she is still alive

Mostly all demons have chosen to eat humans and gain power, but nezuko ate no one, even fought other demons, and usually sacrificing oneself to save 3 villagers who she doesn't know, will in-turn give a miracle to her. It's always about being selfless.

Tanjiro took an oath to become a demon slayer. The point of being a demon slayer is to protect humans and not her sister. Nezuko was getting in the way of him killing Hantengu. If Hantengu got away, Mitsuri and hundreds if not thousands more would have died.

I think we can all agree that tanjiro is now a hashira for slaying upper 4

Considering the fact on how short the next arc is [hashira training arc] i wonder if theyll either make it into a movie or make it 2 starting eps with atleast 50-1hr of time to the beginning of infinity castle arc

Honestly, i didn't cry when nezuko was burning, as i knew what was going to happen. I cried when the end music was playing, i mean demon slayer has come so far! When tanjiro was leaving, i just felt sad that the 3rd season has already ended. It feels like just yesterday I was watching the upper moon meeting!

I think something a lot of people don't realize and this is honestly what I think - but I think that since Nezuko was already heavily bathed in sunlight that there would have been no saving her regardless. I know some people think that he should have picked her over the smiths, but at that point she's already burning to a crisp. If Nezuko didn't make that choice, there was a very harsh reality that the 3 villagers would have died, nezuko would have died (obviously, not knowing she is immune to sunlight before making the choice), mitsuri would have died - and Hantengu although he was in sunlight, I think that since it just rose he probably could have regenerated enough after eating the humans to keep the shell body protecting the main body from sunlight and made his escape

Nezuko understood the stakes, so she chose to sacrifice herself, since her brother didn't want to. If Tanjiro didn't respect her choice, the demon would have recovered and everyone would have died since they were all out of energy by that point.

I can see why she's mad at Tanjiro's choice, but it was Nezuko's choice, and which brother would deny his lil sister's seemingly final wish?

That's why Tanjiro is a demon slayer. He has to make the hard decisions to protect the living. Three innocents would have died.

Next season: Hashira training and probably the "infinite dimensional fortress"

The reason Tanjiro was so conflicted was because if he did not save the villagers and get rid of Jogen at that time, everyone would have been killed anyway. Nezuko knew this, too, and that is why she let her brother go to save everyone. Remember that although Tanjiro was always protective of Nezuko, Nezuko was equally protective of her brother.

I’m not going to say that Tanjiro should have chose Nezuko, but there’s a difference between not being able to save everyone and actively choosing to save someone over others.

So, what would happen if Tanjiro choose to save Nezuko and let those three villager die? The Slayer Corp will consider that as a crime, and both Tanjiro and Nezuko will be executed or forced to commit suicide, and maybe Urokodaki and Giyu must do the same as well. So, in this case, choosing Nezuko over the villager, will not be a good decision

I love your reaction. Tanjiro and Nezuko was the best episode. The artwork was still great. What made me happier than anything else was that Nezuko was about to return to being human. I thought he had died in the sun, but I'm glad he overcame it. And I don't think there's a greater joy than this when Nezuko speaks. It was a good scene that clearly conveys that Tanjiro cares about his younger sister. Nezuko Kamado's song was also great. However, Muzan has been a self-centered person since he was a human. No way, killing a doctor who tried to cure a disease. It's dangerous to think that Nezuko's life will be targeted from now on. I also understand that Tanjiro couldn't make a decision because he had a strong sense of justice. The younger sister felt love for her older brother who couldn't decide, and kicked him on purpose, as if to say, "Come and protect the humans, brother." And it was a time to feel the brother-sister love that the brother also felt the feelings of the sister and defeated the demon. I wonder how much mental hardship Tanjiro must have had. What is his state of mind when he leaves Nezuko behind? What a beautiful and painful story. It's almost like an exaggeration to say that this season was made for this occasion. I didn't read the original, so I couldn't understand the pitiful backstory of Hantengu. The things that made me happy this season were that Nezuko was safe, nobody died and there weren't any serious injuries like Mr.Uzui who lost an arm, and Muichiro's memory was restored. I'm sorry my English is not good.

He had a choice to save for one person, and or other people he couldn’t make up his mind so his sister chose for him, we couldn’t let a demon kill three people and get away because they knew they wouldn’t get another chance to kill the demon so why are you mad at Tanjiro don’t you think it will be selfish of him if you choose his sister, rather than saving a bunch of people from a demon

Don’t be mad at Tanjiro. He was literally having a panic attack on what to do. Even if he choose Nezuko he was in an open field with nowhere to go to protect her. Nezuko realized that and made the choice for him

After I read the comment and watch her reaction, I got a few things to say. First of all, she just emotional during that moment. But tbh if she cannot handle this moment, I wonder how she handle the next arc. This is just the beginning. To be fair Nezuko made the right decision. Even by sacrifice Nezuko, Tanjiro must kill the demon if not the whole village will be in danger. Mitsuri will die and Hantengu will grow stronger. They will come back again to annihilate the whole village and if all the swordsmith dead, Demon Slayer crops will eventually collapse. By then Muzan will be unstoppable. So it’s not as simple as it seems “we get him next time”.

Nezuko literally saved everyone by kicking tanjiro… Mitsuri = Dead, Swordsmen villagers = Dead, Maybe hantengu regenerates and then everyone else = Dead….

Hantengu scaping would literally mean that 3 people would die,yhe hundreds he killed wouldn't be avenged and probably other hundreds would die by his hands. Nezuko did the right choice, and Tanjiro knew it was te right choice

Tanjiro can't save her anyway even if he wanted to he literally said no one can go down from the cliff and he can't carry her and run since the sun is out the only thing he was able to do is to keep hugging her because as I said saving her depend on others if they could come to help him

If Tanjiro had stayed with Nezuko, he would have gone against the oath Giyu and Urokodaki had proclaimed. Which would have ended their lives. He chose the life of a demon over being a demon slayer, killing an upper moon.

I think the reason i like the soundtrack for demon slayer is because it was written by the same composer that did all of the soundtracks for sao haha

When Tanjiro and Nezuko were kids they drank a soup made of blue spider lily, if muzan had found thta lily he would’ve been immune to sun, Nezuko drank it and she is now immune to sun.

That is an upper rank demon not just some regular demon. If he missed that chance that demon will get more stronger, it's a hard choice for tanjiro. They already let the upper rank 3 demon escape. Renguko died protecting nezuko, tanjiro, inosuke and zenitsu. Tanjiro already struggling to kill that demon with a help of 2 hashira and 1 demon, you want that demon to escape.
