Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon update has finally arrived, and I've kept my word about doing a perfect sync for The End! This fight was absolutely amazing with its challenging mechanics, insane spectacle, and the music featuring both an orchestral version of I'm Here, as well as Kellin Quinn coming back for an amazing cover! It was immensely satisfying to finally beat it after enduring the hardship of the update, genuinely one of, if not my favorite boss in the franchise! Sonic Frontiers has dethroned Sonic Unleashed as my favorite Sonic game and cemented itself as one of my all-time favorites!
It practically took me all day across likely over 50 attempts to practice, experiment, and strategize everything I needed to pull off in order to accomplish this, as I had to do all of it myself. After I started recording once I got comfortable enough, I got it done in 53 minutes with 17 attempts, my 16th one actually being a perfect sync, but I was unsatisfied with it.
Overall, I'm really proud of myself here, as I end my journey to achieve a perfect sync on every Titan fight on a definitive high note! Also proud of the fact that I'm seemingly the first person to achieve this perfect sync!
This sync was done with Level 99 Power, Defense, and Ring Count. I don't believe this sync is possible at Level 1. However, if it actually is possible, feel free to prove me wrong! I encourage you guys to try this out yourself! Just like with Supreme, I also went all out and used every skill to decimate The End!
A patch was released for The Final Horizon on 12/6/2023, which made the Perfect Parry timing more forgiving. This perfect sync was done pre-patch, which had an 8 frame parry window on Hard mode.

I’m impressed by your dedication to making the perfect sync. This was amazing. However, I would have loved to have more of the special animations included. Supreme’s creepy rush and when Sonic loses the rings. I think if that’s synced it would be an incredible cinematic experience.

I did miss The End's dialogue too, could've added to how much of a threat it really was. However, it could've also taken away the sheer badass element of Cyber Super Sonic destroying The End as well, since no spoken dialogue in the other Titan fights gives them room to show how awesome they are. However, I still wanna see someone edit the dialogue in regardless, as that'd be cool to see! :D

@@stubblylist1981 EXACTLY the fight was cool and insane (not counting yours in this vid bud that was on a whole new level) but your not really fighting THE END or even it's Incarnation itself just a possessed Supreme. Just imagine this fight with the dialogue in the back as THE END just mocking you right until the final push

@@drakofox1362 That's exactly what this boss fight is missing. The monologue The End did in the original final boss. If only they kept it in. And this might be me being too used to getting help from Sonic's friends during final bosses in the past, but I wish we had a little help during this final boss as well. 😅

My favourite grand slam animation is a tie between wyverns and knights because I love how he throws wyvern into the side of the mountain and with knights he did the curve stomp

@@SupportTheLittleGuy I turned off the hud to make it more cinematic, plus other people turned off their huds too for their other perfect syncs. I assure you, this was recorded in one session, as I recorded each individual attempt off of my Xbox. Plus I definitely would not have been able to splice something like this without any noticeable cuts lol

Good job, I did it too, although following my own strategy, although to make it more epic, I also did it with supreme, and now I'm waiting for the video to finish uploading.

I'll be looking forward to seeing it when I can then! I overall tried to be more safe with my strategy because the run could very easily die, especially in the second phase if the orbs hit you. I didn't wanna skip cutscenes, and that cutscene in particular is extremely long, too long to make the sync possible lol. But I did try my best to make it as cool as I could too

Man, that’s some bs. When I did this fight, it did the ring drain thing right after attacking the shield for the first time. But it never drains your rings at all!😭

That's because I Perfect Parried every attack, it'll trigger that cutscene if an orb hits you during the second phase

Good job! Though I wish that you've done the double cyloop... ☹ Also I would recommend that you tried to next time make the battle last longer because having to see Sonic fly around without doing nothing is kinda boring.

I would've loved to do the double Cyloop too, but I probably wouldn't have been able to build up the meter fast enough to pull it off in the second phase while still having enough time to pull off the ending sync. Same with the first phase as well, I'd have to build up my Quick Cyloop meter again afterwards and it'd probably take too long, unless I maybe did it earlier. And the reason why I didn't have the battle last as long as I would've liked is because I had to prioritize safety in my strategy a lot more in the second phase due to the orbs. If I get hit by even one of them, then I'm forced into the extremely long cutscene, killing the run. I could skip it, but I don't skip the cutscenes for my perfect syncs, so that's why I say the run dies when that happens. So yeah I apologize for that ending bit, it had to be done that way in order to make it possible. Otherwise I'd have a lot more runs die in the second phase due to more orbs :(

@@stubblylist1981 It's cool, you did great anyways. I wonder if there could be a way to do a run with the cutscene where The End blasts Sonic out of Super, since I think that cutscene is one of the best and adds story to the game. I got a great tip, for building cyloop quickly what I like to do is, first don't disconnect cable yet, then spam cross slash to build up meter quick. Also I discovered that once you do the quick cyloop or normal cyloop to The End you can actually skip the laser by just normal cylooping The End and it counts as a double cyloop. Hope that helps! @@metalsonicdragon9857 @metalsonicdragon9857 I don't believe there is, which is too bad because that cutscene is really cool too. I love it! And I usually do Cyclone Kick and then cancel into Cross Slash, though if spamming Cross Slash is faster for building up Quick Cyloop, then that's good to know! And I didn't think you could do a normal Cyloop to trigger the second Cyloop, that'd be helpful indeed! Now it's not likely I'll record another perfect sync video for this, I'd rather be one and done with these kinds of videos. However, I'll probably do it again off camera anyways for fun, so these tips will really help me out! Hopefully others who want to go for the perfect sync see this thread too, as it'll help them out. I really appreciate the feedback and the tips, so thank you very much!

Ok, Just As I Commented This I Tried And Was Just Late When Cylooping The Gun, The Final QTE And I Accidently Got The Get Knocked Out Of Super Cutscene. But I Came Very Close With Level 1. Just Go All Out, And Cyloop Multibly The Damage About Halfway In Both Phases.

And The Very Next Attempt, I Got The Gun Sync Part, But Failed At The Last QTE. Also This One I Tried What I Like To Call: The OST Version (Like Knight), So I Tried Skiping The 2nd "I'm Here! - ALWAYS TO NEW HORIZONS!" Part And Instead Tried To Replace That Part With The Instrumental That Can Be Heared As Sonic Flys In The Sniper. And I Tried Cause I Swear I Have Seen Someone Try That Version.

I initially tried the "OST Version" too but found that the transition from vocals to instrumental was too jarring. For the version I went with, you can perform the sync at Level 1 with the same strategy as seen in the updated sync (should've been more specific at first). You can find it in the pinned comment or my channel. :D

@@stubblylist1981Also I Have A Very Difficult Idea, But I Have Come Close On Hard Mode, Music Sync The Trial. Giganto I Have Now Done 2 Times Today, And I've Done Knight Alot Before. But Wyvern Killed Those Runs As You Need Quick Cyloop For The Damage Needed To Kill Quickly, And Sometimes When I Grand Slamed, It Counted As A Quick Cyloop Use, Otherwise I Got Phase 1 Done Once

I'm honestly not sure that's even possible given that you only have 400 rings to do all three, plus I legitimately cannot deal enough damage during Wyvern's second phase to get the QTE fast enough to sync it. The Titans seem to have more health during the Master King Trial, as my syncs were at Level 1 too, but that strategy presented in that sync doesn't work for Wyvern during the trial. The only way I see it being possible is by playing on Easy, which gives you 600 rings and Level 25 power stat, plus weaker Titans. But then you run into the issue of dealing too much damage too quickly. Regardless, I don't think I'm gonna do this. Getting the syncs on their own is good enough for me. Plus, I'm gonna hate climbing Wyvern even more trying to do this. I had to climb him so many times doing that sync and getting through the Master King Trial on pre-patch Extreme difficulty (I had to cheese it because it was practically impossible for me despite playing the trial over 30 times on Hard to try to get a feel for the 4 frame parry timing. I am not ashamed to admit that because everyone else except for one person cheesed it too.).

Sorry, but I won't be doing that. All of my syncs have the sound effects for the sake of consistency, and most other people who've done these perfect syncs have the sound effects on as well.
