This was my first endeavor to write a pop song. It was inspired by a synth line from Weather Report's "Birdland" and by Joni Mitchell's alternative guitar tunings.

𝑰'𝒎 𝑰𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐 (𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑨𝒊𝒏'𝒕 𝑴𝒚 𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒚)
I'm in love wichoo but you ain't my baby
I'm in love wichoo
Why, oh why won't you give me your heart?
Can't you lend us more than a start?
I'm in love wichoo but you ain't my baby
I'm in love wichoo
Where, oh where are you gonna go?
Can't you see that our love could grow?
Are you waiting for somebody else?
Could you love me as much as yourself?
What you need is what can be
What I plead is be with me
Forever
Give me to yourself
It's easy
When, oh when will you see the way?
Is there something that you won't say?
Are you feeling something inside?
Is that something that you haven't tried?
What you need is what can be
What I plead is be with me
Forever
Give me to yourself
It's easy
