Beautiful!!! I have never understood why as Kenyans we pride on being the best trolls especially on twitter. There are several RU-vid videos of foreigners describing their experience in Kenya. If they dare mention the negatives like phone snatching and noisy matatus they are told "this one should be taken to twitter", meaning we pride in trolling on twitter. Entrenched tribalism has made us to perfect callous attitude and comments online, to a point where we get shocked about the politeness and kindness of Ugandans, Rwandans and Tanzanians. We can still be a major economy in the region without being unkind. Someone tell Kenyans there is no Nobel price for unkindness. Kindness would make us more successful.
Even in Kenya we have people who are kind,, I don't hate Tanzania but it thought me how to be proud of my country home is the best,it's not the country that is bad every country has bad and good people.... depends who u meet ,or interact with..

The one thing I appreciate the most at this point in time as an older person is that the online space is giving opportunities to young people to express who they are and what they aspire to be as global citizens. In the generation I grew up in as a young person, we dreamt silently of who we wanted to be and the support system was not welcoming to those who wanted to explore new paths apart from the cliche careers. Azziad reminds me so much of who I really was and wanted to be at that age. I dared to become and stray away from conformism. It has paid off even now and for me it’s not about fame or money but knowing your purpose in this world and living it every day. So move on forward and never look back. Distractions will always be there but keep your eyes on the goal. Well done👏🏾
