Relationships are hard and take a lot of work, even good relationships. Of course, there are times when the writing's on the wall. So here are the signs that it's time to end your relationship:
1. You don't trust each other-- trust is incredibly hard to rebuild.
2. If you have different values -- and little differences become gigantic differences that you can start resenting.
3. You don't act like yourself around them -- this is not referring to bettering yourself with grooming, lifestyle, and more in order to improve the savage you are. It's having to change who you are and how you think to be somebody you're not.
4. They make you feel badly and treat you like sh!t -- this includes mental and emotional abuse, not just physical abuse. We teach people how they can treat us. Don't let your relationship beat you down.
5. You're cheating or thinking of cheating -- if you want to go out and sow wild oats, do it honestly. Don't not mess around on anyone!
6. They prevent you from seeing your friends and family -- your friends and family have been there before the relationship and will be there after the relationship.
Alpha's last thoughts are about happiness. If you are not happy in your relationship, it's time to go. But if you're not happy with yourself (work, career, body, etc), find out why you're not happy and work at it. You need to fix you, because until you do, you won't be right for anyone.

What I can say (if you're open to it) and coming purely from a positive and pure intention, is that it sounds like you started a new job when you still had unfinished business per say, which is never a healthy way to begin a partnership. Third party ties whether physical or emotional when two people are under the impression that they are the only two involved is as you said unfair to your latest gf. By virtue of you still having feelings for your ex you literally are blocking a true connection to happen with this one. Again, not my place to judge or advise as I trust you're figuring it out. From my experience, you can't reach for something or someone greater (in this case someone more aligned for you) until you let go of what or who you're still holding on to. Just a few insights that you can take or leave and I pray it all works out for you. :)

Same bro...But I was the one who broke it off because I was so tired of her. I tried saving our relationship as well and just like what you did....I sucked it up. The pain and tears just to save what we had. And just like you....I didnt feel like she appreciated me. Sometimes she just ignores me for some reason...acts immature too sometimes... Also when we have a fight...she doesnt want to fix it. Or she just avoids the problem. Which I dont like...I want to talk about problems and try to talk about it and fix it. . Most of our fights were mostly because of her...I did have some mistakes too as well...example temper issues. I broke up with her last june and it was brutal and hard to do. But never felt better. It was just always constant stress and fights every week. I'm glad I'm out of that toxic relationship. I held on to our relationship for a year and a half. And through those months it took me a while to really think if it was even worth saving. Just like what alpha said....love isnt enough....or just because Im not happy doesnt mean I have to end it..No!....It took alot of build uo and pain for me to decide that it was just time to end it and find someone who really appreciates my efforts and my love. Also know that you're not alone man. Wish you goodluck..there are many fishes in the sea..just have to find the right one man. Find that one person who appreciates you for who you are..and loves you for who you are Godbless you.

I would be told that I did nothing right for starter's. It was like walking on eggshells everyday. After a while of living like that it effected my confidence in everything that I did. She would make me feel like I was self absorbed in certain situations and get in my face about it, but it was ok for her to do it. Ultimately every was never her fault, always mine and I took her and her kids in bought a house (first time) I was the only one that had a job supporting everyone and payed everything and I was just yelled at, made to feel small and just not appreciated with anything. I thought it was a phase and she needed time but I been telling myself that for 7 years. Now I'm free and building back my confidence and reaching back out to my family and friends that I was made to isolate myself from. Always be yourself, don't change for anyone!

When i used to be in a relationship with my x girlfriend a year ago she wanted to change everything about me and she was both fiscally and verbally abusive to me then one day i had enough and packed everything i had and left and moved back in with my parents. I broke up with my girlfriend 70 days ago, well she broke up with me, it was devastating for me, still is, BUT you have to keep going forward, keep your mind busy, do something new, buy new clothes, get a new haircut, go to the gym, start doing meal prep, get a new hobby, do anything new, something u would normally never do. Go out with your friends. Just do something and don't stay home alone, that's the only thing u shouldn't do. Trust me I know what I'm talking about. Don't stalk her, block her on social sites, don't look at her things she left at your place, dump them. You are strong being single, let the time pass and your heart heal. It will be alright and u will find woman of your life. Peace
