Why the hell your sponsors would ever give a shi* is beyond me, your attitude, expertise, head for conservation and respect for nature is what should be their focus. Not one time have you done any brand a disservice, if anything the rods and reels I own is parts thanks to what you show off on your channel, because I know they work thanks to you. The petty jealousy we've seen in our 30+ years in the fly fishing industry is astounding. People not so connected simply wouldn't believe the dark corners of envy that there are - and how low some will go to sell trips, to sell gear and... to run others down and try to eliminate them. It's a small % thankfully but sometimes that small % starts a small cog spinning that simply shouldn't and it ultimately runs you over like a loaded transport truck. GOOD FOR YOU, however, in MAKING a decision and walking in it. No matter what, NOBODY can take you away from you, your life, your worth and value to the people that MATTER. Be proud of this chapter, what you learned, the lessons life presented, and apply them all to tomorrow.
