Joining us on this week’s I’m LIVE is one of the hottest bands these days - Lacuna!
Lacuna is composed of four musicians of the same age - vocalist and guitarist Jang Kyung-min, bassist Kim Ho, drummer Oh Isaac, and guitarist Jung Min-hyuk.
After writing a song inspired by “Lacuna,” the company that erases people’s memories in the film “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” the four musicians decided to name their band Lacuna, maybe to erase their listeners bad memories at least when they enjoy the band’s music.
After their official debut in 2018 with the EP, “Incompleteness Dream,” the quartet has been making their way in the industry. Thanks to their hard work, they were chosen as the Rookie Band of the MUSE ON 2020 and also made it to the top 13 of the 2020 Indiestance.
In February this year, the four released their second EP, “Summer Tales,” which includes five love stories from a little boy’s perspective. The new release once again proved how talented they are, making us anticipate their future endeavors.
In this episode, Lacuna performs “YOU,” “Sloth,” “Happy Puppy” and more to display the essence of their artistry.

손닿을 듯 가깝고 생생한 음악을 선물하는 도심 속 라이브 콘서트 [I'm Live].
실력 있는 뮤지션들과 공연을 사랑하는 시청자들의 사랑을 한 몸에 받고 있는 [I'm Live] 251회의 주인공은 동화적이고 몽환적인 사운드를 선보이는 4인조 밴드 라쿠나다.
라쿠나는 98년생 동갑내기 장경민(보컬,기타), 김호(베이스), 오이삭(드럼), 정민혁(기타)로 구성되어있다. 영화 이터널 선샤인에 나오는 기억을 지워주는 회사인 'Lacuna'에서 제목을 따 온 노래를 작곡했고, 이후 밴드명으로 정했다고 한다.
2018년 EP [끝이 없는 꿈을 그대에게 줄게요]로 데뷔 후 ‘뮤즈온 2020’의 신인 뮤지션으로 선정, 제31회 유재하 음악 경연대회 본선 진출, ‘2020 인디스땅스’에서 톱13에 이름을 올려놓으며 떠오르는 루키로 주목받고 있다.
올해 2월 발표한 네 번째 EP 앨범 [Summer Tales]는 서투르지만 솔직하게, 사랑한다는 말을 대신할 다섯 편의 소년의 사랑 이야기가 담겼다.
[I’m Live] 첫 출연인 라쿠나는 [YOU], [나무늘보], [우리집 강아지 HAPPY]등을 통해 개성있는 사운드를 들려줄 예정이다. 라쿠나의 무대는 4월 8일 새벽 1시 아리랑TV에서 감상할 수 있다.
