All he has to do is give her attention and make her feel special. It’s boring in there. Once you’re out there’s so much more that can complicate a relationship. It’s not a good idea to get married before you’re living in the real world together because the dynamic is different.

She is so cute and nice but I see so many red flags with him being controlling... Calling each hour is not a good thing.... Also he should of laughed at her saying black dress but he went straight to a controlling tone of she can't do that.... this girl have such a big heart and a good heart too. i have studied social work and we have madatory psychology classes throughout the diploma duration (wich is 3 years or more if you asked to the person assigned to your filed at the college to extend it to 4 or even 5 year for either family, work or even mental health reason like anxiety, adhd or any problem that can make it more difficult to have too much classes at a time so they can spread it out over more time to help you at succeeding) and like relationships/behavioural related classes too and this girl is one of the most well rounded or the most balanced mentaly about her reflection on her choice regarding marrying/ dating an inmate that i ever seen. i have watch a lot of documentary on the subject from all around the world and most women were like "i always wanted to talk/date a prisoner" or like "i dated x number of prisoner before this one" or "all of my exs are in jail or have been in jail before". it was a very rare occurrence to see someone that was like meeting in a "normal" way like through social media and people she knew like she did and who decided to wait that the guy get out to make the move. many women in those documentaries marry guys while they are still inside thinking it is a good idea but they dont even know how they are outside

So many red flags here....she is probably marrying a narcissist....he is making her feel special (red flag), everything feels so intense (red flag), he love bombs her (red flag). I feel sorry for her...

Stop putting money on his books and then see how he acts towards you. This is not a good idea sweetie. It's your life of course, but you've put this out there for everybody to see and dissect and my vote: horrible idea.

It's not based in reality,it's mostly fantasy. They dont really know each other,they have both fallen in love with the idea of it,imo,as an outside perspective. Hope I'm wrong and it works out as she seems like a nice girl

I was gonna mock this girl but I actually feel for her, she could be getting screwed over for money and all she wants is love bless her, can tell she’s been through a lot and only ever having been with one man your whole life can make you very naive when getting back out there

I was not expecting that myself, but I actually like and admire her. I thought watching this video I'd be go like "oh stupid girl" but she has been though some stuff and still standing up for herself knowing that she deserves true love (also if this love is questionable).

Of course her first marriage didn’t work, she was a baby herself and lets not forget it was “arranged”. No disrespect to any cultures but that is so f’d up. It’s kinda like arranging people to just breed. And being a teenager, you don’t know the world. When I was 16 I was barely able to keep a job. As a parent, this isn’t an ideal relationship, BUT if she’s happy and if he treats her like a queen and he’s hard working, then her friends and family need to be happy for her. Otherwise they arent good people and she doesn’t need that toxicity in her life. When she said you have to stay married because “you made your bed so you have to lie in it”, that broke my heart. Those girls didn’t “make their beds” Someone else arranged it for them. Sending good vibes to her and wishes that this works out for her and Tommy. 🫶🏼

The saddest part is shes only just gotten her kids back from social services :( and now shes marrying a man fresh out of prison, theyll probably get involved again. i dont think she would listen, she just wants to try her hardest and hope it works. It sounds like shes had a hard life. Hopefully itll be a new start for her.

This story brought back memories from this movie called Mi vida loca. It’s a Chicano movie, there’s this girl they called blue eyes felt in love with a guy in prison and was in love with his letters.

My heart does break for women with such low self esteem😢

Poor girl. I hope he is a good person and isn’t a player. I personally wouldn’t date prisoner because I don’t trust, I’m sorry. Even thou I know that some people do change but I’m not ready to get hurt. I just wish her the best.

Ah, arranged marriages. And here I thought humantiy had moved out of the medieval period. If this lady wants to get married to a man of her own choosing, she'll hopefully be better off for it. I wish them both all the best. And have a wild Irish party. I'm an American, so I don't know much about other places than my own. One of my life goals is to (hopefully) travel the world and learn history from the perspectives of the countries I'd visit. Ireland and Scotland have always been the first places I'd go.

I hope they're happy together. There's been some interesting studies on women who choose men in jail.

They are still together. They had a real life connection (sorta he was interested in her from her TT) before he went to prison. It's a bit of a different story than some girl writing to a guy in prison that she had no connection with & falls in love because he lovebombs her because he had all the time in the world. I feel like those stories don't end well when the guy gets out of prison. So many either leech off the woman or they reoffend. Bridgey has a better story & they have a real connection. It's working, they are happy, be happy for her too.

That's so true that she said not all people in prison are bad people. The only difference between people in prison and people that aren't is the fact that the latter weren't caught. It doesn't take much to end up there sometimes. Speaking as someone with family members and very close friends that have been in prison.

Im not familiar with irish traveling families, she said the women aren’t allowed to remarry, but are men from dissolved marriages allowed to move on? The way she met this bloke checks out for me.
