To see an African and a black American marrying almost brought me to tears. I was trying to fight back my man tears but it was just so beautiful. May God bless your holy union. I know the ancestors Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X are proud!!!

While most African women will literally kill to have a "western style" wedding and get broke and break up with debt, a sister from the west has shown us and our young ladies in Africa how to be grounded. It has been prophesied that in the latter days, the sun will shine from the west. It's time for the conscience sisters and brothers to take their rightful place in Africa to redirect our compass. Wishing you sis a blissful years ahead.

Blessed Vorgar I am sorry that you have to experience that hatred from some African Americans who clearly had inferiority complex. They were insecure about being black that's why they showed that hatred towards you... because you remind them of the culter/history they lost from their ancestor when they were beaten and enslaved. They have centuries of being told by European Americans that they were ugly, and worthless because they were black so. Seeing you a confident aFrican person who knows her culture immigrate to america and be sucessful would obviously make them feel jealous. But again do not judge this women for the actions of people insulted you. You don't like it when some stereotype your whole culture so don't do it african americans its hypocritical. She's never insulted african people and you don't know her.

+ MajorrBison I agree with u 100%...I am African American and my fiancé is Nigerian, until I came across this sister's videos it was hard for me to articulate the HONEST, SAFE AND FULFILLING relationship that we have...Yes, I've dated African American men before and those relationships were good while they lasted, but the connection and communication that I have with my fiancé was unthinkable at one point in time of my life...I thank God for allowing our paths to cross and our mutual love to grow...African Americans are searching for MORE( at least I was) and visiting Nigeria, experiencing the culture and interacting with the people was a culture shock at first, but it still felt like home...If that makes any sense...

I loved both of your wedding videos! I hope you and your husband are doing well. I am American but used to live in Botswana where I attended several weddings that were much like yours - lovely! I have only visited Namibia once but loved it. I do have 2 questions for you, please: Are the women in the family carrying ostrich feathers? And I notice that you and your husband wear white gloves on the right hand only. What is the culture about that? Otherwise so similar to Botswana - the music, the dancing, the handshakes.Best regards,Susan B
