Great tutorial! Been trying to create a smooth way to play the intro without getting my fingers all tangled up; you just showed me how. I’m now a subscriber!
dude AMAZING JOB on this one!!! just the intro is SOOOO good!!! keep up the great work man!! also if you could do a video on how to tune for this one i’d be great!! thanks for the hard work man!!
Thank you! All I'm doing for the tuning here is lowering the 6th string from an E to a D. When you put the capo on, the open 6th string is tuned to an E note. All the other strings are just in the standard tuning. Hope that helps!
May sound dumb. But I'm learning so please forgive me. What's the odd looking chord you best example in opening you go from D to that chord that kinda looks like a G7 but not in G position relative to capo
I do love your lessons. As I said I'm learning an you've been great. You helped me figure out rythum. I needed that so much. Now I can do simple versions of, zombie, time marches on, Tennessee whisky, horse with no name, and a few others. By simple I mean they are sound like the song. But I need to and continue practicing them to make them full or complete sounding. Each time I figure out a rythum for a song. The next rythum becomes a little easier. Not to practice more with songs to improve my chord changes so my wife doesn't get so board of hearing the same thing over an over again. Lol Progression wise. Thanks
Not sure if this is what you are talking about but I play the 5th string open and then hammer on to the 2nd fret and I'm playing a G position, I'm just using the 5th string as the bass note and not playing the 6th string. Hope that helps.
Thanks I know a lot of old country songs but I'm trying to learn some new stuff and I have a problem because of the cords a lot of them I'm not able to get but I do my best that's why I started watching your channel so I can see how you play them I just have to figure out how to make it work with what fingers I have lol but all in all I don't do to bad ..
