@ Khalid Al Ameri I totally agree with the idea that we should not judge a book by its cover. But in this case it doesn't make sense. it is not a positive or negative judgment. It is simply based on how people dress in different countries. There is nothing negative or positive about that. It is simply a fact that the Arabian style differs from the western style of clothing. And .. often Arabs dress arabic and westerners western. It would make more sense if you had used the metaphor (don't judge a book by its cover) to ask people what they think someone's personality (the book) is, purely based on the outer appearance (the cover). I have an English mother and Arabian father I am so proud of my parents. They both have worked so hard my mother was nurse and was teaching Arabian students English that's how my parents met she also moved to Saudi to became an English teacher when she left nursing to have me my others siblings my mother God rest her soul was beautiful my dad I am so proud of him working hard so I had a good education luring Arabic and English I pray for him and his health always. My life is different for some because I dress I love Arabian clothes I was raised with grandparents around serving in the military respectable family my mother's side I group being taught to respect my elders I am a homeschool mum and love it three boys keeping on my toes.

something similar happened to me and my husband… we are Sri Lankan and I am brownish, but my husband is fair like a North Indian. One time we visited Dubai and we took a Uber to meet a friend. As soon as the trip started the Uber driver spoke to us in Hindi or Marathi (I don’t know how to differentiate them), as a Hindi movie fan I understood what he asked but my husband, who didn’t understand, looked confused. So I answered him we were from Sri Lanka (wasn’t the answer to what he asked). So the driver said he thought we were from India cz my husband looked like a North Indian 😁 we were wearing T-shirts and pants

Well I'm Italian and I can say you look a lot like an Italian to me. One from the southern Italy, Sicily, Naples etc. In ancient times southern Italy has been colonized by Arabs, Greeks, Spanish and lot of others so now here you can find a large variety of skin tones, different facial features, lots of nose types ( 🤣) etc. Nowadays it's nearly impossible to define a population with just one stereotype
