Its ironic, reviewers that grew up with the classic LEGO games (1995-2005) spent the last 20 years complaining about the Tt LEGO games not innovating past their formula. Fast-forward to 2024 and reviewers that grew up with Tt's LEGO games want new LEGO games to stick to the formula that Tt created.
@@bricksterstudios1015 I mean, I absolutely love Tt's games, but they aren't the be all end all of everything a LEGO game can be. The beauty of Lego itself is its versatility, so the same should be the case for the video games. For those of us that have been fans since LEGO Island we are living in the best time. One where Tt can continue to make their specific style of game, and other studios are free to throw their hat in the ring and try something new. There's easily room for both approaches in the gaming market, people just need to give these other lego games a chance, I think this looks like a ton of fun personally.
I've actually played both Horizon games when they first launched, and literally the only other character I can remember is Lance Reddick's character and I always used to call the character just "Lance Reddick".
Yupp 😅 love horizon but forbidden west a difficult story to get used to in the first 2 hours as they would act so excited tl see someone again... and Im like... who dis? Also with the guy in the dlc that I now know is named Gildan
Yes, Horizon doesn't make sense as a Lego game. The story is actually far too serious for that. But it looks so cool and like so much fun. I love both Horizon games, especially because of the great and exciting story. About the game announcement, someone wrote in the comments that you just have to imagine it's Aloy's fever dream after she was wounded in the Hades testing facility. Bam, works for me. 😅
Okay i know Horizon getting a Lego game doesn't makes ANY sense... BUUUUUUT, if you think about the Lego sets we could get from this who cares? Okay maybe you should care just a little about the Sets prices tho-
Hf everyone in the comments are toxic af. He enjoyed the horizon games and is giving his opinion as to why he thinks it doesn’t fit the theme of lego games and also takes away the general tone and message that the OG games had. There is nothing wrong with this review. It’s a lego game based off of another game. “I’m the dude playing a dude thats disguised as another dude” feel (the look is there but its not the same at all). To people who enjoyed the emotional tones of Horizon, this is going to feel like a kick in the gut, especially if they just remove some of the key plot points for the sake of having a game aimed towards kids. You all need to chill, critical reviews are good to have, if they upset you so much, go watch a channel that recommends that you spend your money on every new game coming out saying that they’re “masterpieces” 🙄😒
Oh, you are not convinced things don't make sense in the video game industry ? I personally don't even question things making sense anymore after the completely baffling financial failure of *The Wonderful 101* . Things do not strictly need to make sense in this here world, really.
I was about to say why this review has such a negative review but then i realized its gamespot....they're always negative with every game....theres never nothing good with them LOL
LEGO Starwars: You have the force and lightsabers and its an extremely well known IP LEGO Batman: Every kid knows who Batman is LEGO Harry Potter: It’s Harry Potter, when those games came out, the movies were releasing as well so kids were familiar. Those are the most popular LEGO video game IP’s and they all have some things in common; being extremely well known and kids having knowledge behind the IP’s I think this game will sell well to the LGBT community but thats about it. I don’t think too many parents are going to make their kids play this with them.
It's so an INTERESTING to see that Horizon is getting it's own Lego game and it's REALLY EXCITING it's coming to even Nintendo Switch Sony's ip for Switch and the game looks so FUN WOW! 😮
@MrSPW93 looool, ooorrr we can just enjoy for the game that it is? Radical I know 🤣. It's this type of mentality why gaming became so stale and companies are canceling and refusing to create, and experiment new innovative games, and we're stuck with remakes, and Online games. Everything has a flaws sure, but to the point it's horrible and "can't be forgiven" is absolutely childish and silly.
@@batshats8243 but we can't enjoy the game for what it is because what it is, is incredibly dull and stale. Hence the inability to remember anything about it because it has zero staying power
@@batshats8243how about we stop excusing mediocre, easy to consume open world drivel. Maybe then developers will take risk again and make games that dont feel like a factory made time waster
@@Goromajima61A. The ruined, post apocalyptic atmosphere is great. B. The style is super unique, tribal yet futuristic? Fxcking dope C. Wdym “weird MC”?
