Pathetic from you. Bet you supported kane leaving too. Do you think saying people who are good for the club should leave is the right mentality? Embarrassing. If anything this should fire him up to avoid repeating history next season
Mate it’s muggy all these divy fans in the comments never been to a game, acting like utd ain’t done it in the 90s, liverpool have done it too, we hate arsenal and had nothing to play for. People can pipe down
Ange is the only person trying to play football. The journo's and the fans playing 'the league table' instead... Dark day to be a Spurs fan seeing people cheering away goals.
Mate it’s muggy all these divy fans in the comments never been to a game, acting like utd ain’t done it in the 90s, liverpool have done it too, we hate arsenal and had nothing to play for. People can pipe down
Doubt ~Ange will see this, but thank you for coming to our club and bringing enjoyable football back. Can't wait for some cup runs next season and promising players that you bring in and up from the academy COYS
I did wonder what was the point of the Spurs 'fans' turning up at the stadium. They didn't really cheer their team on and when Sonny was in on goal instead of a roar there was a whisper. Pretty lame really. Still, maybe we can stop obsessing over Woolwich now. disgraceful.
Wouldn’t be angry with Ange if he left. Embarrassing from the fans today. If we wanted arsenal to lose the title. We should have beaten them at home like we should try to win every game. Including this one
Completely agree with the last part mate. Ange and the players should of put more effort into the arsenal match but we went 3 goals down in the first half. Fans will be fans what was embarrassing was the Arsenal performance
It wasn't the fans who put the club in that position though. "If we wanted Arsenal to lose the title, we should have beaten them" and what's that got to do with the fans? That is precisely what they wanted to happen. It isn't the fans fault the team lost that match
Mate it’s muggy all these divy fans in the comments never been to a game, acting like utd ain’t done it in the 90s, liverpool have done it too, we hate arsenal and had nothing to play for. People can pipe down
Getting top 4 only to choke in the group of stages of the UCL!! Nobody wants that. Better to be in the Europa league where you actually belong and might win something
Am happy Ange is furious. It takes a sadistic/loser/weak/pathetic mindset to wish your team losses so Arsenal can't win the league. If I am Ange I leave at the end of the season. I am sorry to break this to you Ange this isn't going to Change. If Spurs happen to be in the same situation next season their fans will want their team to lose.Even Son missing that Chance is suspect I have seen Son put tough chances away. A lot of Spurs fans happy at their team lossing makes Spurs fans (those happy about the loss) looks bad. Am not even an Arsenal fan and am disgusted.
Calling son suspect is a load of bollocks keeper stood his ground and made a good save. Yeah son scores most one on one's but he misses them too. It was literally only chance he had all game. Also arsenal would have been the same.if it was the other way around
"Need 3 points for FREE? Call Tottenham Hotspurs NOW!" - Terms & Conditions - "This offer is valid to all EPL teams rivaling Arsenal for the title"... now thats a Football club motto to envy!
@@Bertie22222 If I was an Arsenal fan, I`d print it in a huge bandolier and display it at the Emirates this Sunday... Spurs fans deserved this much respect!
@@Bertie22222 You clearly do apparently, otherwise why reply in the 1st place! If not you, pretty sure all the Spurs fans that would rather lose tonight as long as it stopped Arsenal winning would appreciate my thoughts (as if 13 titles to 2 wasnt a huge gap already)!
@listonheinz A couple of fans said stuff. Grow up. If a couple of fans say something racist does that mean all the fans are racist? People are just ridiculous.
@@bb5979 That was a LOT more than a couple. Just scan social media for 5 minutes, shameful behaviour towards our manager and players from our fans yesterday.
Mate it’s muggy all these divy fans in the comments never been to a game, acting like utd ain’t done it in the 90s, liverpool have done it too, we hate arsenal and had nothing to play for. People can pipe down
It wouldn't surprise me if he resigns, why try your absolute best for the club when your own fan's are cheering for you to lose, Small Club with a Losers Mentality
He needs to take accountability that 90% of teams who had as many points as we did finish in the top 4 We have been awful for half the campaign top 4 was lost 6 weeks ago What as fans are not going to do is cheer the team on to help our biggest rivals win a trophy
Anyone in the comments criticising Spurs fans for not wanting us to win, is not a true Spurs fan, and nothing will convince me otherwise. We hate Arsenal, they hate us. Winning one game vs Arsenal lauding their title over us, is not worth it. Ange should understand this. If he doesn't, then that's on him.
This notion that the supporter’s mentality is the reason we don’t win anything is ridiculous. Appoint the right manager, bring in the right players, win games, win trophies. It’s the clubs responsibility, not the supporters. If the club did their job correctly we wouldn’t even be in this situation.
When Arteta arrived at Arsenal, the club and the fans had rifted apart. He said and made it a mission to mend that separation and to get everyone on board. And now you can see the effect in the stadium. The players give 110% every game.
Mate it’s muggy all these divy fans in the comments never been to a game, acting like utd ain’t done it in the 90s, liverpool have done it too, we hate arsenal and had nothing to play for. People can pipe down
Embarrassing tonight from us Spurs fans, Ange is totally right about this. How do we ever expect to lose the 'Spursy' tag when people are so reluctant to act anything other than that. Do better, expect better.
im fully ange in and can understand being upset about the loss and the atmosphere at the ground, but if he didn’t want the fans to be in a position like we are, then he needs to take a look at his own and the teams performances at Liverpool, chelsea, arsenal, newcastle, fulham, and wolves before coming for the fans.
Apparently, a Spurs fan who has issues with getting battered by Fulham and Newcastle, losing to Wolves twice, failing to fix defensive shortfalls that are plain to see, and who'd prefer Arsenal didn't win the title is no Spurs fan at all.
@@therodentofurbana2568 what did you expect out of the team, new manager this year? Start of the season where did you think you were going to end up by the years end? You want overnight success and bet ya, even in your personal life, you haven't had a smooth run and faced difficulties. Go get your membership for man city and move on!
@@rioribeiro6737 honestly, since Pochettino I view Champions league qualification as a successful season for Spurs and anything lower an unsuccessful one. But i realize now my ambitions for Spurs are delusional, if i can be satisfied with 5th through 8th places, i can feel no disappointment.
This wasnt a bad hit to take, sometimes you have to go backwards to go forward. Woolwich was just a bonus. To keep repeating the same thing over and over expecting a different result is madness. We keep just about scraping into CL, we get knocked out early then repeat the following year. How about we drop down to a EL, where we are actually competitive now? It will help improve the squad for the following year, and we might actually win something (thatll help instill a bit of that mentality we apparently lack.
What has happened to this once promising club...beginning of the season we were excited for what this tean can bring and now it's just a civil war between the players, the manager and the fanbase. I'm not tuning into this crap but to look forward and make a new start. Idc about rivalries, idc what the toxic side of the fanbase wants but all I care for is for Ange to continue staying with the players and guiding them towards a winning mentality. If he could achieve that then who knows, it could change the mentality of the fanbase. But for now, I'm plugging my ears and just waiting for our final game against Sheffield. What's done is done...
I'm getting rather tired of his " I don't care " attitude now. Ok maybe it's just a front he's putting on but if he doesn't get rid of certain players in the summer then he can go elsewhere.
I kind of agree. I understand the results have been disappointing recently, but anyone actually expecting Ange to be happy about fans actively not supporting the team and caring about any rivalry more than his own team winning is deluded.
A big chunk of the fanbase would rather get relegated than see Arsenal win a football game, pathetic losers mentality. Act like a big brother and you will become just that. Fanbase showed tonight it’s very much a weak little brother.
@@listonheinz9103a weak little brother is exactly what spurs is. Chelsea is the oldest brother followed by Assna and then you've little spurs down there playing in the mud. Accept your situation and face the reality
Ange is really pissed off with the fans, and i dont blame him. We should not be interested in what arsenal do or don't achieve. I thought arsenal fans turning up in droves,in aresenal shirts, to pubs to support Liverpool in the CL final was pathetic and lacking in class. We have matched them now. I will be pleased if arsenal lose title race but not as pleased as i would have been if we had properly backed our team in that match yesterday, finally showing the arse that we don't care about them...and in so doing rising above them. We should apologise to the players, who played so well. Who knows the impact this will have on their desire to play at spurs.
I'm 100% behind Ange being angry at the fickle fanbase that were celebrating our loss but it looks much deeper than that & this has echoes of Conte's meltdown. I'm sure Levy & the board are yet again a big factor in this anger too.
Definitely internal bust up! I think some players weren’t upset with result but Ange clearly is! Think the fans didn’t exactly advertise the best players out there why they should come to Tottenham .
Wolves, Fulham, Newcastle, Chelsea? Now he’s upset with the fans? He needs to take a look at himself. So he can vary his tactics and he wants top 4? He should have shown us that before!
The ‘fragile foundations’ comment I suspect has come about because some spurs insiders which included some players ‘suggested’ to Ange before the match that it would be better to lose tonight.
Couple of questions ? who decided we should be so accommodating to man city and rearrange the game so that we had so many matches against hard to beat clubs over such a short period of time ? What a lash up ! There was even a period when we went 12 days without a game to accommodate other clubs. What idiot decided that.? Ange looks like he is blaming the fans for the defeat to me ! 5 defeats out of 6 doesnt like progression at the club to me so i really dont think he is up to it.
@@fizikz9647 Where have we progressed ? last season goals for 70 - goals against 63 - This season so far goals for 71 - goals against 61 . Not going to get into petty exchanges but you need to check your facts. We are only 5th because man utd have dropped away and so have newcastle. We have conceded as many as brentford and more than everton who are in the bottom half of the league. This is despite the fact that we are supposed to have 2 of the best cb's in the prem. Losing 5 out of our last 6 games is a disgrace and shows how naive ange is to the prem ! Basically you cant even blame a long hard season with no cl or europa or any sort of long cup runs - its a worrying time under ange and i really think levy will only give him 10 games into the new season if this carries on. BTW - Sheff utd last 6 games = LLLLLL Spurs last 6 games LLLLWL . Not a lot of difference is there ? But we have progressed ? yeah of course we have LOL.
It’s strange how sou called Spurs fans are enjoying losing to anyone in order that Arsenal won’t win the title just because Spurs won’t!! It’s a breathe of fresh air Ange!
Ange wont last long at spurs. Winning mentality coaches will fail at the club. The board, the fans and the club in general are losers. He as a coach got hit with a reality check.
Embarrassed by some spurs fans.....support ya team properly. I came away from last night thinking my team have had a go against one of the best teams in the world....I didn't spend the whole match wanting to lose.... pathetic!!! Support ya club
He is deflecting from the losses against New Castle, Chelsea , Liverpool and Arsenal. Take some responsibility over set piece fragility and naive tactics where spurs are defensively fragile. Ange concentrate in winning big games. Stop making out there are vulnerabilities amongst the fan base and the club. Up your managerial " game" and stop running your Victorian mouth. Win something. Become better.Go out there and win The Europa League or the FA cup. Prove your self. I see right through this. You are replaceable. If you are not happy we should start sounding out Pochettino. Personally I think Postecoglou should be given a chance but if he thinks he is above the club he is replaceable .
we played well the formation was excellent, what is stunning is not our loss, but the absolute immaturity of those who posted themselves cheering cities goals , guys who every week offer opinions on spurs let hatred of arse trump love of the team, bring back conscription put on a uniform learn to march in step and most of all learn to point a gun at the enemy not you own side .the mass hysteria and support fo you team losing is a mental heath issue ,.but i would prefer those fans be taken to the vets and get seen to.. disgusting .
Well you not a real fan of u can't support your team through thick and thin and cheer for the opposition team. Perhaps those who cheered man city should get a membership with them
Ange should say that the effort of the players over the past few months has been terrible Many shoiuld not be wearing the Tottenham shirt, with their lacklustre displays No wonder the clubs trophy cabinet only holds trophies won by the real Tottenham of old Fans smirking because their loss almost certainly ensures North London rivals Aresenal miss out on the Premiership title disgusts me, 3:10
Ange is taking the moral high ground. But at the end he and his team lost the game - not the fans. Let's be known today that Ange's is a manager who does not care about the fans.
The guy comes from Australia, he will never understand a rivalry like spurs and Arsenal or Celtic and Rangers. He say he gets it but he never will. I wasnt someone who wanted us to lose tonight, but im not disappointed we did because it came with a massive silver lining. But top 4 wasn't loat today, it was lost by some aweful performances and some poor managment choices. I back Ange, but he's passing the blame.
It’s got nothing to do with him being Australian. His job is to win football games with Tottenham. This includes building a team that can challenge for titles and will take a couple of years and some uncomfortable changes to the squad and the club. This is his sole focus and everything else is just noise. Spurs have fallen short consistently for several years now and he is the solution but he isn’t here for the banter and to make the squad comfortable. It’s probably going to take at least another season before the team gets to the level he wants and some fan favourite players may be sold in the process. He can’t let himself get distracted by rivalries and league table shenanigans.
@@neumanmachine3781 yeah and I agree with all of that, and like I say I back him. But it wasn't lost today, there were some fans who took it too far, but simply he just doesn't understand the rivalry. He should be more disappointed with how Spurs have performed recently. If we'd beaten Arsenal it wouldn't have been this atmosphere, if we'd won the games we should have we wouldn't have to worry about top 4. Again, I back Ange. But it feels as though he's Angry at the fans when he needs to look at himself.
@@stz024 no he isn’t. We will finish where we finish and then next year he will seek to improve. Barring disaster we should have Europa league next season which is about our current level but we still need to improve the squad to get deep into that competition. He will be entering it with the goal of winning it. Whether we will be good enough is another matter. He will also be examining his tactics and making adjustments to correct some of the mistakes he made during this season. That’s always been a feature of his management and people have been mistaking his unwillingness to compromise on principles for an unwillingness to change his tactics. I’ve been watching Ange as a player and a manager since the 1980’s. His style is a lot more aggressive now than it was when he was managing in the A League- he now commits an additional player forward to attack and I think this season he was seeing how far he could push it attacking wise and he will review and adjust over the break. The Premiership is another level for him and he may decide to get his 6 to sit deeper again to provide more cover or make other adjustments, especially in personnel. We will have to wait and see, but the one thing I know from following his career over the years is that he recovers from setbacks and improves his approach and is never satisfied with just maintaining a level.
Must do better , the media campaign of gooner hate ,need to block that crap out , Peirs Morgan in a Spurs shirt, enough to put anyone off the goal scoring . Lots to work on , not good enough against near peer teams to get over the line this season. City again setting the standards to beat . Bounce back against the Blades? CoYS!
@@RachelTurner81 and there were three 50/50 decisions that all happened to result in Arsenal goals. (The Kulu penalty wasn't even 50/50 more like 70/30)
Well done Spurs fans! You helped Aston Villa to fourth place! You can celebrate! I can imagine how everyone will respect Tottenham now. Bravo! "You are a professional football club, you have ambitions, you fight for trophies, you need free points - call Tottenham" Are there any more real Tottenham fans?!
Villa deserve fourth place and since when has that been a trophy? It's nothing to do with the fans that the team have bottled games like losing to Wolves, West Ham, Newcastle with half a team. Maybe with the right team selection, less of the high line crap tactics and a plan B the team could have got 4th, Tottenham wasn't even in Europe this season Villa was so what's the excuse? talking of ambition, well we have owners who have no ambition to win trophies only to get top 4 champions League money, no wonder Ange is angry with the loss because Levy's precious top 4 is gone.
Maybe he is right, but turning on the fans like that is a big NO GO! This might be the point where his relationship with the fans collapses. Should‘ve taken the L and shut up.
I disagree, the fans were embarrassing. Probably why he was pissed. Especially when the fans cheered when Son missed. He argued with a fan in the stance as well.
I'm thinking Ange Postecoglou has just realised over the last 48 hours that Tottenham Hotspur FC may not be the ideal fit for him as a Manager moving forward. I'm getting a vibe that someone from the hierarchy within THFC (possibly Munn or Levy) have spoken to him re his press conference addressing his approach and words used ie 'some fans might needing counselling' leading into this game. That press conference and his body language displayed a significantly 'peeved off' Ange Postecoglou. This is reminiscent of his tenor as National Team Manager of Australia during his final World Cup Campaign when the FFA began a process of meddling into his football philosophy and his approach to qualification. Subsequently after Qualifying for the WC he tendered his Resignation to the FFA. Whatever has occurred within a 'closed doors' moment has significantly upset him. His next 10 days are most crucial as he will 'stew' on this for a few days, watch this space. He aint happy !
I couldn't care less if he left, playing a stupid high line that's been sussed out already, finally decides to play VDV at left back giving Dragusin a chance, why didn't he play the same back four against Liverpool who were all over us? He talks about wanting to win but puts out a weakened team in a cup game against Fulham, he just wanted to beat Pep to make himself look good but he's not even a good manager, I would take Thomas Frank or Eddie Howe over him.
Ange angry because he couldn't get a win against Pep, should have got the team to win the other games against Waste Ham, Wolves, Fulham and a injury ravaged Newcastle, maybe then top 4 would have been wrapped up. If you're so much on the team winning then why play a weakened side against Fulham in the cup, that makes no sense, let's see what you have next season big Ange because it seems you have been sussed out already.
If a chunk of your "fan" base would rather you lose so Arsenal does not succeed you can see where the club is currently at! Even podcasters Sim and co. were shamefully smerking at the result! Support Ange and your club.
Ange is angry at the 'small club' mentality of some Spurs fans who really can be defined as Arsenal haters rather than Spurs fans including people on this channel. That's what he means when he says the 'foundations are fragile'.
You just want to win. Then you jump on a plane and go back to Australia. Then its the supporters that would have to face the music. Ange is off his head or has a screw loose.
Ange you are taking the piss. Did you want to win when you put Royal at left back. Making substitution that didn't make sense in previous games we lost. Stop taking us for fools mate.
