Yo this is the first video I’ve ever seen of yours and it’s an instant subscription. You’re real. Authenticity is so rare within content creators these days. Your tats are ridiculously fire & the way you carry yourself & your lifestyle is very admirable. Recently I did a total social media purge aside from Insta to keep in touch with family and long distance friends & the first one to go was TikTok. I think it’s the worst one. I like to form my own opinions and the whole app felt manipulative. Anyways enough of my yapping. Keep being you man.

I'm trying to get inspiration! I think a short story readathon or challenge or something would be fun. I have a bunch of collections that i haven't read or haven't completed. Ashlea's idea to do it during the short story month in the RYBC was a good one. That's July. I checked for myself.

I am the same way with L. M. Montgomery! She is my favorite author, and I have multiple editions of her books. All of her books are wonderful, but my most treasured book by her is a first edition of Anne's House of Dreams. I found it two weeks before my wedding and moved into my first home with my husband.

Those Jane Austen books are gorgeous...>Do you happen to remember where you got them? Also, I admire your ability to just keep one of a series because I am way to OCD for that. I either have to have them all or none at all, lol!

So sad that you didn’t like Heidi much. I would encourage you to check and see who the translator is and if it’s abridged, because this is a highly Christian story of redemption, and there’s some worse translations, and there’s lots of editions that abridge out all of the Christian elements, which is so sad! Helen Dole’s translation is very beautiful and has all the lovely Christian parts, they use it in the old Illustrated Junior library editions. I think Generations curriculum company has a new hardcover out with a similar translation. It’s one of my favorite books, that I feel like should have belonged to my childhood but I didn’t get to read and enjoy it until just 2 or 3 years ago. Also I’m laughing at how many book you didn’t get rid of 😂. You certainly have an unenviable predicament with moving books! I’m afraid to move, I’ve multiplied my shelves since getting out first house 😅

I must have liked it in the moment but now looking back I can only remember what happens in book one. What I give a book when I'm done with it and what it is in my head afterwards can be totally different things.
