I taught myself to play jazz guitar by trying to figure out your solo album by ear back in the nineties... i wish i had such videos back then. Then traveled 2 times in the UK to see you play in front of a hundred people... so glad you eventually got recognized.

Very nice to hear you mention Al Haig. I was always astonished by his playing, especially his intros to nearly every Charlie Parker Tune. Wonder if he ever got royalties? Did you ever get to meet or play with Alan Clare? Another favorite from listening to Steph. I thought his sense of Swing was just electric.
