If you really think about it the crusade against "wokeness" is actually almost exactly what China is doing. They don't want people to think about the corrupt and dysfunctional structure that they are a part of. If we do not feed our citizens, ensure they are educated and healthy, we have no country to defend. However, while we do not need more weapons, we absoluyely must increase our spending on military pay! Many of our enlisted service men and women are raising families, as well as defending our country with their lives, on wages than are at poverty levels. That is a disgrace!
Thing is that takes raising taxes and many families are barely surviving on what they earn as it is. Having to pay more in taxes may be burdensome unless the 1%-2% income earners pay their fair share of taxes.

Yes Senator. I live on the gulf coast so I have had a front row seat to climate change. Two unprecedented weeks of temps at 100F and a drought. Tired of the increasing floods and hurricanes and drought. So frightening. Thinking of moving northward for climate as well as the authoritarians taking over the southern state legislatures and government. It’s getting worse. The corruption all the way to the Supreme Court is not going to resolve in time. You have my support.

It's plain to see that oligarchs aren't interested in *doing* anything about climate change other than to secure the privatization of fresh water systems for their own future use. I think that pretty much "says it all" as to the future that awaits average American citizens. We can lower the carbon emissions from automobiles in America by 65 percent simply by mandating that all new cars be E85 compliant. We can do this with the stroke of a government pen. Going to electric cars is not an immediate relief as we do not have a green electrical system to provide that electricity. We can immediately do something about automotive carbon emissions right now, mandate E85 compliance in all new automobiles by 2030.

Yes Bernie, our health care system is coming apart. In this small mountain town I live in it is suffering under the stresses of what Medicare and our health programs are presenting. We have so many practiioners who will not contract with Medicare because they are not getting paid. Why are these programs are offering so much to the consummer. But there are limited benefits to the doctors and providers. I don't understand this situation. The US says they will take care of we Seniors, but the doctors are not willing to take care of us. We are not being told the truth for some reason.

Go Bernie!! The US has ELEVEN Aircraft Carriers...each of which has an associated escort fleet of vessels...Billions upon billions of floating dollars. Do we need that many? No. I have an equal number, approximatley 11 homeless people that daily wander my neigborhood and nearly all of them are homeless due to mental illness. For the cost of just one of those vessels, you could house and provide healthcare for quite a few homelss people.

We'll spend huge amounts of money on killing people (war), but not on helping our people that aren't able to work full-time, or at well-paying jobs, our Disabled, and our Veterans. Millions of people forced into homelessness because Disability does not provide an amount that affords housing or a campground. And then ordinances are put into place to ban overnight parking by those Disabled that are lucky enough to afford a vehicle to live in. Medical and Financial Discrimination (rich people not wanting to see that poor people exist). The Constitution allows the Right to Life, Liberty, and Justice to even the Disabled, and overnight parking bans violate that Right, and create instances of harassment by police and some members of the general public. We are trodden upon, simply because we are Disabled. My county has created a "safe parking" location between towns, it is an over crowded cage, next to the animal shelter. As a Disabled person, with a non-epileptic seizure disorder, I need help with food, so I asked the gov't for food stamps, they give me $25/month. As if that would solve my needs... As Disability has Cost of Living increases, USDA reduces the food stamp assistance because the recipient "has more money." Despite things being more expensive, even the Dollar Tree is $1.25 (and puts poles on their grocery carts, making them impossible to leave the store, which is not handicap accessible... a Disabilities Act violation...). When Bernie was running for President, he offered minimum $2000 per month to everyone, yet Disability, even with California's bonus, is only $1100. That's less than $37/day. A State Park campground, without power, is $35/night, $50 with power. Housing is supposed to be no more than one third your monthly income (by some economist's recommendation a few years ago). Additionally, as having a seizure disorder, the only medication that helps, without causing major side effects that make me completely unable to function, is cannabis. Yet, despite cannabis helping seizures far better than anything else, it's not counted as medication...I believe this is Medical Discrimination, a violation of the Disabilities Act. $150-300 per month of medical expenses not counted as such, and taxed. And a difficulty in getting the right strains that help the most, Charlotte's Web is rare at dispensaries... Forced into homelessness, in a vehicle on the side of the road, because the gov't won't provide the Disabled with an amount of money to survive in this capitalist economy......... Isn't it supposed to be a "Government [...] for the people?" Where does the money go? that's spent on defense? Who gets that money?? certainly not our Troops and Veterans.......

The DCAA needs better auditors that can go deeper then counting beans. They need to know how to read blueprints that list all parts going into an assy and that there are no double dipping, cause they charge for the parts that are already included in the assy. costs already covered under other change orders, are charged again.
