...ya I didn't do a mockup because I just trusted the measurements. I was also just lazy but it worked out great!

This video just came up on my feed. Went back to watch the first couple videos of this series. I can’t wait to see you make this outfit. I actually bought the spoonflower striped fabric but have not found the velvet/or silk taffeta to make the solid bits of it. I bought the wingeo boarding suit patterns but have been hesitant to make it for over a year. Maybe this will give me the inspiration to make it for myself. P.s. where did you buy your solid fabric and what color did you go with.

You find the best printed cottons!! I gotta keep my eye on Joann’s. I’m a sucker for skulls. It’s fairly obvious you’ve made a number of corsets…that gorgeous outcome with no mock-up??? It’s also a testament to Redthreaded’s patterns. Beautifully done, Master Jedi!!

I love hunting for fun and gothy prints. Usually I stock up around Halloween. YA, and I didn't do a mockup because I was fine with the measurements I took. Worked out great.

Where did you find those fabric weights? I need to get a set or 20 I think. Last time I had to cut anything I used a few candles (the ones in the glass jars) as weights. Also motivation - I'm struggling large with motivation for anything these days. How do you manage?

The weights from Lowes! They are just metal washers that you can buy in bulk. Motivation - what helps me is watching others make things, youtube and tiktok have helped me! But also, just take your time, don't give yourself deadlines.

Hi!!! I’m excited to see you make this!!! Yes. It’s been really cold and I did nothing. This last weekend it was icy in Texas and I literally did nothing I had wanted to do. I love the fun linings. Watching others make corsets makes it look easy. I’m glad you got to go have fun. I haven’t been on an air plane in eighteen years. Again, you make this look easy. The fabrics are lovely. The blue bias will be pretty. It’s pretty!!! I’m looking forward to more!!!! See you next Week!!! I don’t do TicToc. Not my thing, but my daughter follows you there.

The corset came out so perfect! Great video. Also I wish I could make fabric weights work for me. It looks sooo much easier than pinning 😭🙌🏾 I have a weird habit of picking up the fabric as I cut so the weights would get moved lol.
