As you know Izzy mate, I was you once many years ago. If you are getting them thoughts that not enough was done today it just means it been underpriced so learn from that. It's certainly nothing to do with your dedication and effort as actually I think you work to hard. Only young once mate don't ruin your body by doing to much as myself and many others have. Great vid 👍👌
Yeah well said Andy - bloke works like a horse, body can only sustain that for so long,im 40 and feel my backs going, pace yourself Izzy but admire your work ethic 🤓🧱💪
Thanks so much for the advice Andy, really appreciate it! I have this feeling of guilt if a slow down though, just how we seem to work. But trying to chill a bit more All the best mate!
Good man, you are a hard working likeable young guy. I did the same sort of work for over 40 years myself and loved every minute. Wishing you all the luck on future projects.
Izzy, yours and a few other channels I watch are invaluable to folk like me. Having never really used my hands in a practical sense, I decided things would change. I'm currently in the process of building a pergola that a block wall will surround. Watching you lay blocks has helped me a great deal, thank you. I wish I could make it look as easy as you do. Oh, and I'm putting my whole build on youtube should you wish to have a look. Keep up the good work, sir.
Issac. You’re a young guy who has become an expert bricklayer. Personally, I would think about learning more trades and or becoming a GC. You’ve got lots of time.
Watching professionals at work is a sheer delight, stay safe, take care of yourselves both you and Drew and "keep on cracking" with the same high spirits
Brilliant work! No wonder, you're both shattered! Was a bit concerned in case you got stuck between the blocks, but shouldn't have worried! Fantastic block/brickwork, both "upstairs" and "downstairs" despite all the obstacles! Also great gym and brushwork skills, Izzy!
Nice job boys ❤️ try not worrying to much about reaching said daily goals mate. You’s go at it all day, I know that from experience with you’s. Other days you’l do more & catch lost time back. Keep it going men
Try and chill abit lads. The work will be there tomorrow. Don't burn yourself out. you pair will never struggle to find work so keep that in mind. And always leave yourself a couple of days between jobs to chill. just put it in your price. ❤
Another great video. Some interesting notches and cuts with the rafters and the ridge beam 🤔 I'm still trying to figure out which part of Derby it is...
sorry I m now 22.50 minutes in and i am annoyed that the architect/SE didn't pick that up earlier. I hope you charged accordingly. Nothing worse as a builder to have things changed half way through a job by the people that get paid loads of money thinking its a 5 minute job! sorry rant over
I've watched hours of your videos and I'm not even a tradesmen.....just love watching quality tradesmen do their stuff. Have to say if that was my house I would be over the moon with the quality but would not want those ugly buttresses in my rooms. I think inspectors go way over the top
I have thrashed my Evolution saw for 6 months, dropped of scaffolding, cut 5 huge steels and probably close to 2000 blocks. Same blade, not once had any issues with it. Also cuts deeper than a Stihl AND requires 0 maintenance Petrol is good cos u don't need electric. But that's it. I'd take the evolution over any cutting tool now 💪
@@IzzytheBricky There are also comfortable working clothes but they're as excpectet most expensive, in germany you'll almost nerver see any one without working clothes
In future if you're ever putting gable noggins in, do it as you build. Avoiding any cutting of bricks. Just sit the nog on the closest brick to your centre.
Thanks so much for that bro, really appreciate that advice! Didn't know if that was allowed, as I've only ever seen them put in at the same angle as the roof and always at the top of the rafters
