It’s Tranmere Rovers mate, they were non league a couple of years ago…. And it’s only a training facility for youth players. Why on earth would you need security here? What they gonna rob or vandalise? A playing field?

@@dazediss6629 you’d have staff contain a site. You don’t walk into a leisure centre within staff, you don’t walk into a shop with staff. Even 24hr gyms have some form or remote monitoring. Of course, if someone is operating a commercial premises (which is what it would be classed as) on the basis of “meh” than doubtless that will be something they are capable of explaining to the police, fire service, local authority or HSE following any adverse event.

The building used to be the St George's County Secondary School and playing fields (different from the current primary school). The angled building with white roof at 9:38 top is the Solar Campus building which is entirely heated by solar. It was designed by Emslie Morgan and constructed in 1961. Details available on the Historic England page. St George's County Secondary School also has a 2009 webpage highlighted the various buildings. School appears to have been constructed early 1950s, prior the grounds were the Wallasey Brick Works. The factory building was located on the left side of the drive, now mostly carpark and grass. The production and pond are now the former school buildings and adjacent housing. The workings extended the some of the current pitches. Great video and views. 👍⭐⭐⭐

@NarnianRailway I’m glad you said this, I came to say similar. I’m from Wallasey and for some reason the rumour (and tales)was always that Mr Morgan either didn’t tell anyone how to use the state of the art solar system before he died or that the person he trained up didn’t tell anyone. So it was always in a semi state of use as a school and often looked abandoned. I’m amazed it’s still standing am that it’s now in use by Tranmere Rovers 😮

Don't get me wrong. I am aware about pedophils ect . My question is when has it goten out of hand? I mean how could anybody even think about children in a sexual way? I love watching children play happily no worries at all. Nothimg nicer and more relaxing. But with all them bad people about its just goten out of hand. Horrible. I have the same ideas about children as you do. Unfortunately, there are far too many who think otherwise. Where I live, in mainland Europe, unfortunately, sports teachers are also involved in pedophilia scandals. Caution is therefore always advised.

Morning DJ, I live in Sittingbourne about 20 mins away from Gillingham, we have the ‘Eurolink’ here, a couple of mile stretch of industrial units, including aerospace, Delivery chains and much more! Also Gillingham is pronounced ‘Jill’ingham, like Jack and Jill 😄 Have a great day!
