Bro, I will be 100% honest with you. This is the hardest part but it is what differentiates a CEO from an Entrepreneur/owner . You've already built/ invested in the business and it's paying off, now it's time to invest in the people. Make an "exit" strategy so that you can become more hands off. Leverage other people's time in exchange for $$ so that you can have more free time to fully do content creation without losing the asset. Build a solid team that will do the lifting for you and without you. If it's not higher level conversations as it pertains to improving/ expanding then delegate it. Once you build the organization infrastructure, then have one day a week where you schedule a check in meeting and get updates. Transition from the CEO/ COO to the Owner. I'm happy for you. This is the next step that will help you not only now but in the future when this RU-vid thing becomes too big/ demanding for you alone. Keep up the good work.

The good news is that you have options…if I were you, I would hire and train a virtual assistant to handle customer phone calls which would allow you more time to run your business and create content. I would also continue to monitor and re-evaluate this change and note any positive or negative effects to my company and my work flow at the end of each quarter and go from there. I agree, you have a winning business and business model so staying open to options that will allow you to keep it as a stream of income is important. Using Call centers, virtual assistance and hiring an operations lead could free you up. Franchising could also be an option. Pray sincerely and ask the Holy Spirit to guide and favor u so you know clearly the right thing to do. You will do well no matter what. But if there’s a way to keep VIP as passive income that would be a win. Praying for clarity, direction and most important PEACE!!!

My opinion: either wait until the season is over or 6 months, really think about it. Don't be so quick to give up. If you hire someone to answer the calls, please make sure it is a professional - that person will be on the frontline of your business. What it taught you - you can teach others. It would be so interesting to hear! And a great variety you can include with your content here.
I just binged watched your videos from the last 3 months. From what I have seen you are a very detailed and oriented person, and think things through. You take leaps and take risks, but you are in another turning point where you have learned from previous experiences. The only thing left is to think things through, make sure all bases are covered or will be covered to exit well if you are going to sell or have everything covered if you keep the business but will be further removed. The content creation avenue also seems to be going well and growing in the right direction. So it is good to have options, but think it over as you close the chapters on decisions you have to make.

Hire someone for the phone lines. Check on things at least twice out of the week. I have been following you for a short minute and you are starting to really take off. The male cleaning channels are really starting to take off on RU-vid. I think you should definitely keep being persistent with this and like you said, it will get bigger and bigger. You bring a uniqueness to male cleaning because of your vibe - your music and swag are lit. As far as VIP mobile, maybe sell the older truck and keep the newer one. Slow down the bookings to that one truck, but I would try to keep the income . As everyone else stated, also pray and listen to your gut. Those things won’t fail you. Hope this helps. See how you feel once this model has been in place for a while. You sound like me. I very much a “ if you want something done right, do it yourself” type of person, but sometimes we have to let go and be more trusting. If you provide the training to the right candidates, I’m sure you’ll be successful.

Hiring someone to handle your phone calls is great advice. Reminds me of The Four Hour Work Week book. What ever happens you’re going to be ok because you have options. That you worked hard to setup for yourself. You should bet on you and have faith that you will and have dealt with what ever has come your way. Thank you sharing your journey as always.
I would sell VIP mobile. Get multi family properties to rent them out to retires on social security, using section 8. Those tenats are chill and looking for a place to rest. Use that passive income to spawn new business that you’re into. P.S. im speaking from experience, i sold my data collection business in 2019 to rent out homes to seniors with little or no retirement savings.

It's not futile, but eagleEye can pull the plug WHENEVER THEY WANT, and sometimes they do it to EVERYONE, just to test folks' endurance (ie: socialExperimentation), at the expense of your personal wellbeing. I WILL say that your transparency with accountability and your willingness TO *GENUINELY LEARN* FROM your mistakes will inevitably carry you through, nephew. I don't discourage you from selling. I'm just saying that IF YOU DO land on selling it, I encourage you to CONTINUE TO MOVE AS IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING SOLID TO PIVOT INTO (something beyond content creation). I would find youtube video's/search online on how to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) that clarify how to run all aspects of your business. I would then find a virtual assistant and/or business manager to help you execute the SOP's. THEN i would focus mainly on content creation.

I don't manage people, so kind of armchair quarterbacking here, but... Is there someone on your crew you can promote to manager? I say manager over supervisor, because if your business is really super automated and you want to extricate yourself from customer calls, people feel more satisfied if they are talking to a manager 🤷 Assuming you have someone on your crew who is hungry for it, the benefits are: you know them, they know the operational side of the business already, after ramping them up on sales/marketing/finance stuff for the business you have more time for content creation. And if you do still want to disengage, it gives you a little more time to figure out what that will look like (sell business completely vs go down a bus vs franchise vs some kind of silent partner arrangement, idk) The downside is you will likely have to pay them considerably more, but hey maybe the math will still workout in your favor (revenue from additional content + revenue from a business manage by someone who can put 100% into it). Finally if you still decide to sell outright, you've got your first potential buyer lined up and he/she will be motivated by time investment they've put in as manager. In any case, as other's have said, you've got options, so no need to rush the exit. Good luck!

I Would suggest if you believe in your company and the passion for it is still there I would stick with it and hire assistant to help you with managing and taking on phone calls, and dedicate majority of your time to content creation. I wouldn’t give up on it so soon.
You have a great opportunity presented to yourself. Don’t throw away the hard work that you built your company from the ground up. Just hire staff that can run your business while you focus on your content creating endeavors. Im guessing. Sell the 2nd truck and hire some 5 star help so that you can focus on content creating. I don’t know much about what you do but it was nice hearing a normal speaking voice talk about their business and just brainstorming out load. I listened as I cooked. There are people out there who have a time a space to get into content creating but every video is “you gotta do this, you gotta do that”. Your style of communication here is needed and will be appreciated just as much as the cleaning video, trust me

Hire a CEO or virtual assistant that can answer phone calls and be on top of the things you are forgetting. Have quarterly meetings to access where you at. You have something good and mostly automated, find a way to have it run in the background without you actively running it while you focus on content creation. Don’t give up on it 🌻
This may not make sense for some but the biggest thing I learned in business is find the customers first and always always be sure to do trials to get reviews and people's experiences before launching to actual real paying customers. I'm a big believer your success depends on how the mobile business is marketed. Maybe try a different marketing approach example advertise it as a travel bus, tour bus, filming bus or maybe an only fans bus lol. What about leasing it out. Just follow your heart or follow the money.

It's Sunday June 21st and I am binge-watching your cleaning videos as opposed to getting up and cleaning LOL. Good luck with all of your endeavors it seems like you definitely have a vision for yourself and you are what appears to be extremely disciplined. My advice always to my children and to anyone actually is there are no mistakes in life, it's what you choose to do and what you choose not to do. If you want to make the right choices in life first think about the consequences of that choice and that will help you make the best choice for yourself. If you do make the wrong choice don't take it as a loss take it as a lesson. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and continue on.

Don't sell either bus get drivers for both buses, get someone to answer the phone to schedule the parties/events. make sure everyone is professional and energetic for the business. have weekly meetings so your up to date on whats going on and if changes need to be made then you can do that quickly. DON'T SELL!!!!

Would you consider renting your bus? Taxi cab companies have drivers who pay for the cab for their shift - other businesses, like hair salons renting chair space, lower their operating costs by renting part of their business - one or more of your drivers might be interested in this - your office could handle bookings, public relations, advertising and payments - just a thought (your local Small Business Development Corp or SCORE - these are retired executives who help small businesses at no charge - or junior college business department can advise you on restructuring, keeping or selling your business, financing, best practices, etc) - you have an asset that simply needs to be managed - you are in the perfect area to get help - try not to make decisions out of discouragement - best of luck to you
I would keep one and get someone for the calls, if it’s too much then I wouldn’t put my time into something I don’t have a passion for anymore. It seems like you have passions you put your all into and that’s great, do what’s best for you!

Interesting thoughts! Sounds like you’re a bit burned out/overwhelmed right now, that darn phone is out to get us lol! You can take some time to reflect before deciding. You could find a business partner, or a logistics/dispatcher that handles the phone, inquires and helps the drivers. And if you prefer selling, you could think about selling this business and buying another type of business that is lower maintenance. Or a business that is related to your content creation and maybe manage both in a smoother way.
I don’t think you should sell your business. Have you considered letting a very very responsible, business minded person that you know run your business and keep that as a second source of income? Yes going for a full time content creator is great;however, test the waters first and let your channel grow a little bit more. Like in the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, get you a mastermind group. Get some people that can help you weigh your decisions and then go from there.
Sounds like you need a personal assistant that can help in both areas of your business. No point in selling something you have a vision for. You need to free your time to be able to be the visionary for all you have going on. I once was a PA and I handled all of my clients Airbnb and his toy company. I booked opportunities for him, but also found ways he could earn extra in both businesses …for example finding services or add-ons to his Airbnb. He had more time to focus. You also don’t have to pay a full time PA… consider a virtual assistant

I just started waitching your videos last night...I would sell the second bus and keep one with 2 drivers and get an assistant. Do a trial run with this setup for the remaining of the year. That way, you can continue to content create generating income from that, and you will still generate income from your bus that will now be self sufficient with you not having to be as involved. After 6 months, if you can comfortably content create and keep your bus without being stressed, then I would continue doing both generating 2 incomes. May God bless you.

However, don't just give it away, carefully seek a buyer and make sure the deal is structured properly so you're fully compensated based on the present and future value. Definitely get maybe a Black lawyer around Detroit to advise you and do the negotiations and the contracts. Also, don't waste/fritter away the profit you realize. Don't spend it at all, invest it and live off the proceeds. And keep building your empire, always with integrity. Do the research on your own as to the best vehicles to invest in, don't just hire a brokerage firm or sink your money into another business or endeavor without fully understanding what you're investing in. If you decide to sale your company you can have it set up to where you can still get Royalties from it! Yes, it can get very overwhelming. When your trying to manage the Majority of the business yourself. And you need the Capital to be able to hire the appropriate staffing. It's a lot that comes with it. I think you need a Consultant's guidance. As a business standpoint. I believe and feel in my spirit. It'll be a very wise investment. I'm new to your I would say if you still have a passion for ur company I would hire someone to do everything you don't have time for. I understand you have financial security with your content creation but you can never have to many income sources.
I'm new here and just subscribed. This is the second vlog I've watched and they look cinematic, are calm and conversational. I really like them. Looking at your situation objectively, you seem really drawn to the idea of content creation. The fact you're making mistakes in your business you normally wouldn't make could mean you are mentally elsewhere and your heart may no longer be in it. Just a thought.
just My random thoughts are that, it sounds like vip mobile is already a consistent revenue driver. From the sound of it, you have a grasp of how to handle all areas of the business, you are not able to devote all of your time to tend too them. I would reccomend documenting your systems and processes in terms of the core areas of your business, and potentially hire out to put people in place of the day-day. In example of the inbound calls, come up with a script of how to field the calls. If you are thinking about selling, then maybe sell one bus. See how that impacts your day-day while you navigate full time content creation. Set a target date to reevaluate how VIP Mobile is doing, and how full time content creation is going. Then make plans from there

As a business owner it is hard at times to make decisions. People don’t show that part. I think you found your solution in this video. I think you should keep your company and keep one bus until you need a second one. Then also hire someone to answer phone calls for you. I can speak from experience, I have multiple businesses but my first business went through a time where I thought about closing the business. It wasn’t until I reflected and went back to the beginning and it allowed me to rethink and rebuild my business.
