I'm SKIPPING Caesar (But YOU Shouldn't) ZZZ Zenless Zone Zero - Thoughts 

Man I've gotta say I massively respect not only that you're skipping on Caesar, but the whole approach. You are the slayer of FOMO for me!

Love that you’re preaching responsibility as a content creator when so many other gacha YT’s are on the MUST PULL HYPE HYPE SWIPE train for every character. That’s what makes your channel so enjoyable to me. Definitely my favorite ZZZ creator hands down.

I'm personally waiting for Lighter leaks to come out to help me make my choice. Once I know his kit, I'll pick up whichever of Caesar or Burnice will work best with him. Caesar is obviously a more universal support but If Lighter ends up wanting to have 100% burn uptime on the enemy then I'll go for Burnice

I feel that Caesar will age very well since: - you can put her in any team - She is practically a hybrid of Stun+Support which leaves you with a free slot for a second support to hyperbuff your Main DPS - She will probably be indispensable for characters who want to spend a lot of time on the field without being interrupted or who have long combos. - She is currently one of the only characters with Grouping besides Nicole which in itself is a valuable niche when you are dealing with waves of enemies - I feel that with the addition of Seth and now Ceasar the game will enter a Defender META where shields will be very valuable to have. However I can understand the logic of those who prefer to skip her and wait for more specialized supports.

As a low spender my, i've managed to save enough to get caeser burnice both 100% lol. Time to unleash the power of 240+ tapes

It’s physically impossible for me to skip Caesar. AFTER I pull her, then it will be possible for me to calm down and be more selective for who I pull for in the future. I’m new to gachas and have been playing ZZZ for less than 2 weeks so I have a lot to learn, but at least if I have Caesar, I can get by. I have to imagine I’ll be skipping Burnice which sucks, but the more I learn about the game and gachas in general, the more I realize I’m not going to be able to pull everyone unless I’m a whale. I’m still grinding a bunch of things that have been in the game at launch, but as soon as all the launch rewards dry up, I imagine I’ll fully appreciate how hard polychromes will be to come by.

I’m on the fence on Caesar. I feel like her generalist nature either is her biggest bonus or weakness. Like Shoukaku is still a better support for ice; Nicole for ether, etc you’re going to have elemental buffers, then a dps, and then that third slot. Is it a stunner? Is it a double buffer? Who knows. For someone like Jane doe double buffer makes sense since Jane wants field time. Meanwhile Zhu Yuan only wants to pop out and say hi after the stunners done all the work. I suppose too that’s something to consider. Can she be stun enough and buff enough to justify taking her over a stunner or a buffer? I don’t know. I do know I want her her. But I want section 6 agents and the up coming furry agents more, and I don’t know if she’s worth the gamble

I really believe Caesar will be a "future" character. She is extremely good, and works on most teams, but we still don't know for sure in which teams she will be a *replacement*. I think this is an annoyance I have with the hype around her right now. She likely will not be the best pick for Jane Doe, both for her physical anomaly and disorder teams with Burnice, nor will she replace anyone in Zhu Yuan's team. It looks like as of right now, the main characters that will benefit from her most are Ellen (possibly), Soldier 11, Corin, and Billy. She seems like a very good "generalist" and will likely be a fantastic QOL character than can take a slot in most teams if you are missing a given dedicated support/ stunner. However, I am not convinced she will be outright BETTER than the specialized alternatives for some of our meta teams. I feel like this consideration for *who* you have on your account and which characters will actually benefit from her the most, is really important, and not enough people are having it about her pre release.

I love the aesthetics of the sons of calydon so much so that im never not skipping their banners now and in future reruns. Ride or die.

I decided not to pull for Jane; Piper will do the job for now, so I'm going for Caesar. The real debate is whether or not to pull her engine-18% damage boost for the whole party is pretty huge!

Good stuff man I'll go for Ceasar fight the 50/50 if I lose it's okay. I skipped zhu yuan so I can lose a 50/50 and it's okay gotta get someone to replace main dps in second team

I will say that I do respect everyone's decision on who to pull for including yours my man. As much as I do wanted to get both Caesar and Brunice, I have to win both 50/50s but truth be told that I won't be able to get Burnice assuming that if I may lose the 50/50 for Caesar and it's a gacha game at the end of the day. I'm still going all in for Caesar if I have to (at least one copy obviously) because she looks like Eula from Genshin lol

You forgot to say that she's also a pseudo stunner, she even beat Qingyi in some instances. Her debuff is no joke as well. 😂

My only limited SSR is Zhu Yuan, which I pulled on accident trying to get more copies of Nicole lol I'm glad I did though, simply because I lost the 50/50 on Ellen. I was very upset about that back then but since I made teams around Zhu and Lycaon, I've been able clear most of the end game content. FOMO is a bitch to deal with. I'm glad you discussed this.

I see people talking about owning piper, I really am that 1%, huh. This is why i've optimised my corrin with the 150 crit damage (as of now) for Caesar. The only thing that will have me double take on pulls is harumassa( i probably butchered his name) but i like dual swords into a bow. Besides that my "kink" is a radiant smile, and ceasar had that when we were doing the NEPS investigation event. So i said " I've seen enough, I'm satisfied".

Solid advice and whatnot. I personally kind of feel at this point f2p should only be rocking 1 of the premium banner dps characters (outside of good luck). Caesar seems like she adds much more value long term than a second dps does at this point to me. And Burnice being a premium anomaly unit seems like she will too, I dunno. Obviously wife over meta but they’re all wife material lol. And I’ve been partial to the Sons of Calydon ever since we got a glimpse of them in the launch trailer so I’ve essentially chosen both Caesar and Burnice over Jane Doe and zero regrets. Jane Doe is awesome mind you but a physical dps seems like the fastest to be powercrept. I mean, Caesar with a dps build already seems like it’s gonna be on her level at this point. Also…they kind of blew their load with the Jane Doe marketing to a degree that it makes me feel like we’re gonna get way sexier characters down the line and Jane Doe gonna be the one we look back on and think about how modest the characters used to be lol Also. Qingyi isn’t really my vibe in terms of play style (her stun is wayyyy too mashy) so I skipped her but I have way more respect for anyone who chose Qingyi over any of the 3 dps premium banner characters at this point because I feel like they’re rocking the big brain with it for real

I think f2p and low spenders should skip a dps character like jane for a stun/support character like ceaser as the later is better in terms of versatility and longevity. Jane can be powercrept anytime by another anomaly dps or a phys attacker but even if there is a stun char who has better stun and dmg multi than ceaser, she can still be used as a support which makes her very future proof. That being said, I totally get your pov tho. You already have 2 good teams and don't necessarily need an upgrade. So skipping ceaser for burnice might be the best choice here

Caesar is only for casuals who cant dodge properly so Im not gonna pull for he- Ah who am I kidding, I eat hits all day everyday Im pulling for mah queen

Thanks for the video! Your Jane Doe analysis videos convinced me to pull for her and the Wengine. If Bernice synergizes well with Jane Doe I might consider trying to win 50/50 but otherwise I’m saving for Miyabi or Zhu Yuan re-run because you’re right I’m completely broke now haha😅

Just a quick comment on your last note about using a stun w-engine on Caesar. I don't necessarily disagree, but wanted to comment that the buff from Original Transmorpher is 16% impact buff to Caesar's impact at the start of the fight, while the 15% from the A-rank Stun weapon is a buff to her base attack. That is to say, if you get Caesar's impact to ~150 and her base is ~100, the Transmorpher will buff her impact by 150*.16 = 24, and the Stun wengine will buff by 100*.15 = 15. So, if the Transmorpher buff is up over half the time, they are pretty comparable, and if it's up all the time it's much better. I'm not really sure on what a reasonable uptime is for that weapon, though, but just wanted to put this out there for anyone who might not know the difference between static buffs and applied buffs.

I'm considering Caesar because I only have Jane as limited character, hopefully Caesar will make my Corin/Anton strong or comfortable to play on shiyu defense

I will pull Caesar since i have planned from the start of the game. For game purposes i have ellen and like to play ellen more, caesar will be very helpful for me since i have no lycon

I'm trying my best to not get a rat because I already have a cat... And their movesets are similar and they have the same element. Caesar will help the cat... and I'll focus on getting 5* Ice and Electric Elements in the future.

tbf, everyone is terrible compared to that one person that mains Billy and goes hitless lol That said, the waifus of calydon are a must pull for me cause the pull value of them is happiness from design alone 😄

For Virgil / Miyabi Simp. After I got Jane I got around 27k polychrome left. I probably skip everyone like I skip Ellen, Zhu Yuan, and Qing Yi. (Shiyu Defense struggle continues)

Cool non-bait vid. I skipped Ellen, Zhu yuan and Qingyi. Although I liked their playstyle especially Ellen's but I had to make a choice. Pulled for Jane and going for Caesar only because of waifu reasons. Edit: Also I agree with your Caesar WEngine suggestion. Original transmorpher gives impact BUT that combat impact while it is higher than 4* stun engines it does not affect her shield. So as f2p with average luck I will go with your idea and use Anby's engine for her since that one affects her shield.

I lost 50/50 10 pulls after getting Jane so I could get Caesar, however as much as I would like Caesar I want Burnice more, although I am in a similar situation where my Zhu Yuan needs more of an upgrade than my Jane so maybe Ill get her based on that but for now I am skipping.

So far, I've been trying to pull DPS units, but failing 2/3 50/50's, and then getting the following support unit. The only exception to this, was Ellen, and my pulls got me Lycaon at the 50 perm mark, and then MC6 Soukaku from pulling Ellen. After that, I got S11 and Brimstone (which went on Ellen) instead of Zhu Yuan, and then Grace instead of Jane, letting me pull Qingyi and now Caesar later. I was admittedly ticked off at first, but in retrospect, I think the game is steering me to more complete, powerful teams with more future-proofed supports.

Yeah, I have two strong teams that can clear the shiyu defense easy (Qingyi/Zhu yuan/Nicole and Ellen/Lycaon/Soukaku), I got really lucky and won all 50/50 so far as a low spender, I pulled and got Jane because... cmon she is really cool, now I gonna skip Ceaser because I don't have enough resources for her and because I really want Burnice to add to my future Jane/Seth/Burnice team.

I’m pulling Caesar for my Ellen, and future multiplayer modes since I have a guarantee. Plus I got Jane and her engine as a f2p. It’s really about investing correctly at the end of the day. I probably will be hoarding polys for the second half of 1.2 to 1.4 but that’s fine.

I think I am still going to pull for burnice purely because I only have one team for shiyu and hollow zero and I feel like it would be easier to build a team around her than caeser, the only problem is that I am currently using lucy for my soldier 11 team so Idrk how that is going to work out.

I think everyone who pulled jane skipping caeser but if you want to know how she is, she is the combination of xhongli, kazuha and bennet. Although i am also skipping her because i want burnice for jane but Caesar is a broken character

Did one pull on the Jane banner, surprisingly got a S rank at zero pity but lost. Saving that guarantee for Caesar and Burnice then use the remaining on Miyabi hopefully coming much later.

I have been very lucky in my rolls. My account is very similar to yours I have both Jane and Zhu Yuan, though I have a M2 Koleda for my main stunner. Rolling is fun, but man. With how character powering up works in this game being tied to battery farming. Even if I lucked out and rolled a Ceaser, It would take forever to get her to a point to use. I've spent Jane's entire banner just barely getting her to 60 and getting Seth in spot to support well. I feel like even if I'm lucky as a F2P gamer, the battery required power up system just kills you.

My friends convinced me to become a low spender (the inter knot membership thingy) since it’s good value and will add up over time. I’m still skipping Caesar to hope for burnice and if that doesn’t happen oh well

please keep using persona 5 music in your vids i love it so much p5 is my favorite game of all time and one of the reasons i played zzz as my first hoyo game is because i saw that it looked very persona coded and i love it to this day

Honestly think ZZZ should look into needing 3 teams for end game content. With only 3 characters needed for a team, generalist characters are going to be less value in the long term if you only need two teams of 3.

I have m1 Nekomata, so i didnt pull for Jane, didn't got Zhu but have Ellen and Qingyi. Immabout lose 50/50 how my luck is. Otherwise my elemental coverage is just Ice and phys which sucks. Pulling for Ceasar because she is good agent and will fit in many teams. After that Im saving for Lighter because he is hot.

I'll pull for 50/50. I'll be good if I win or lose. Win means I have a great new unit, but lose would just mean I got the next one guaranteed.

Maybe I'll do a 10 pull, see if I can magically get Piper but Burnice is very obviously better for my acc, she fits into my 2 teams

Out of all the limited characters so far I've only rolled for ellen. Now with Jane, caesar and burnice coming up I really wanted the 3 of them but knew I wouldn't have enough. With that in mind I decided to give Jane 20 pulls and nothing more to save up for caesar and burnice. And yep, got her on the 20th pull!😂 Now with 32k poly sttacked up I'm going for Caesar, her engine, burnice and throwing whatever is left on her engine as well (if anything). Wish me luck brothers!

Im skipping Ceaser, but not for the reason most are saying. Ceaser is basically a stun character, and I have M1W1 Qingyi, a Stunner is the legit last thing i need for my account. Nah, im going into Burnice strong to create the backbone of my Anomaly team, even if that meant skipping Jane Doe and settling for Piper.

Man so I missed out on zhou yun , lost the 5050 on the ice lady, got quinyi in 10 pulls, and in only 30 pulls into Jane doe and no dice so far. I’m thinking I’ll pull on Jane does banner and if I lose I’m happy and if I win I’m happy, and if I lose on Caesar’s banner then I can’t complain!

I'm quite lucky because I only started playing about 3 weeks ago, just before Jane's banner went live and I managed to get her in 52 pulls and I've just been saving. Skipping every weapon cause it's not needed and have had tons of content to catch up on and do and right now I'm up to 18k Polychromes and still got more things to get through. Hoping to get both Caesar and Burnice (but I will prioritize Caesar if I need to cause damn she's just too freaking hot). And hopefully in 1.3 I can then recover a bit and save some Polychrome again cause I'm not pulling Lighter at all. Don't need no stinking dudes in my game. Either way I think I'm in a good position. (Technically I'm kinda F2P, but I did get the monthly pass cause I mean it's only $5.

Same scenario: pulled for jane, now i have 8k polychromes. Will probably still pull for her, although if I lose her 5050 ill just get my confirmef burnice.

I wonder if it's better for algorithm if you put a more dramatic title, like YOU SHOULD PULL FOR CAESAR (the reverse of what it is now)

honestly, if you are not planning on getting the 1.2 banners, ill say put 20 pulls into the weapon banner so you can at least get seth's engine. you will easily get these pulls back in to time at all. but that is if you are not planning on getting any of the 1.2 characters.

Struggling to get Jane in these last few days after missing the 50/50 on my main account (...after getting Zhu and Qing back to back), but if I can't I'm waiting for Yanagi.

For me by the end of 1.2 I'll have enough to both 50/50 Caesar and 100% Burnice. If I fail I have savings for after Burnice and I won't have to skip 1.3. If I pull Caesar then I still have enough for Burnice and I'll skip 1.3 Caesar's value just looks really REALLY hard to pass up for pure comfort value going forward so I'm giving it a shot either way

As a low spend player ( I only buy the monthly pass) I have been lucky and not lost a 50/50 yet. Got very lucky at the end of each to pull Ellen, Qingyi and Jane but got lucky with Zhu Yuan and even managed to pull her engine since I got her early I just do single pulls and hope. Will try for Caesar but wont be sad if I miss ( I was desperate for Ellen and Jane though Jane cos I wanted her and Ellen cos my first S rank was Lycaon and I needed her for team)

I've got one ten pull, 0 pity and a dream, essentially. If I don't get her in 20-30 on her banner then it is what it is. I can't risk not being able to get Burnice.

Still skipping for Burnice because Pyro incarnate, but Caesar is definitely an eventual pull for me since Sons of Calydon are my fav faction thus far. Honestly, patience works fine in this case cuz the banners are limited not gone forever so Ill just wait for her to come around again then maybe pull for her Plus like I have Jane, and Jane is a monster. Look, ngl. It doesn't matter how good caesar is. She's paired with Piper/Anton, and is sandwiched between Jane (Anby/Seth) and Burnice (Lucy/Nico). That kills her for most accounts, mine included.

i have 1350 polychromes atm, i understand it xD, in my case i went all out on qingyi, so i got her and her weap, but i could barely get jane with so much luck on the 50/50

personally i think i have around 5k of the currency after getting jane and losing that 50/50 i was thinkign maybe rolling ceaser simply because i like how she looks but like you said since i dont have that garentee i think il save up for a possible Ellen rerun and then grab Ceaser on her 1st rerun thats my current strat

The thing is I wanna pull Caesar to future proof later teams but I don’t feel like I really need her right now because the S rank teams I’ve built around are already good enough, and if I were to pull for her than Iid probably need her w engine because of how necessary it is to her kit. I do wanna try and skip Caesar to go for Burnice to build up a fire team.

My account is basically in the same place as yours, I just missed the 50/50 on Zhu Yuan, so Caesar is also a skip for me. I genuinely just don’t have team she would slot better into right now and be worth the polychrome

if you lose 50/50 you are guaranteed for the next character so doesn't really change anything unless you rly want another character

Caesar most likely good for new players that missed Ellen, ZY and Qingyi. She is good enough replacement for those who dont have Qingyi, and because new players dont have limited DPS, Anton and Corin will greatly benefit from anti-interupt mechanic Caesar have because those two likes to stand still while attacking

I have won every 50/50 for banners i've rolled, so I have Cake Yuan, Oingyi and Jane. I will easily be able to guarantee Caesar before her banner ends, but even then I'm leaning towards skipping her because Burnice looks to be better for Disorder with Jane than Grace is, and I'm very curious what Lighter will be like.

Me who is skipping entire 2 or 3 patches banners to pull section 6 team including the weapons after pulling jane doe as f2p: I am 7 steps ahead

I’m also skipping Caesar. I’ve only got 25 pulls left and already have Anton M6 and Piper’s Mindscapes aren’t really appealing since I have Jane. I might drop a few 10 pulls on Burnice’s Banner for my final copy of Nicole and some dupes of Lucy, but otherwise I’ll be saving up for Harumasa, Yanagi & Miyabi.

I didnt spend on ellen cause i started during zyu yuan, and she ate my pulls, i think over 140 pulls, gingy came first 1 and lycuan 6th in a 10 pull, and jane toke 80 pulls, i have roughly 97ish pulls to pull for ceaser, if i am lucky i might have enough pulls to pull burnice aswell, i dont blame u for skipping if u have 8k poly

I have Yuan m0s1 qingyi m0s1 and nicole m4s5 on one side. I'm 30 pulls into my guarantee for Caesar and I have 2000 polychromes. I don't care about Burnice or anyone in section 6. I want Caesar and her weapon for my s11 lucy team and then I'm saving until either Obol Squad or a certain big baddie with a hammer.

Meanwhile I do single pull daily like a beggar due to losing my 50 50 lol. I am casual with ZZZ, not even unlocking my Shiyu Defense yet which makes it hard to get all those polychrome. Was trying to just see if I could get Jane early with whatever I have. But damn your video now sorta induce FOMO for me, cause the way you explain it kinda lowered Caesar value indirectly. Like why bother getting a shielder with insane buff if you can just clear Shiyu Defense brute forcing with strong dps only like Jane Doe. Now I am torn whether I should just spend to get Jane Doe or just wait the guaranteed Caesar to come home. I only have 2 dps atm, Zhuyuan and S11.

Well i talked about it yesterday in your discord. I lost my 50/50 to s11 again. I am legit not sure about the play here. Currently have s11 m1, koleda m1, ben m6w5 and lucy m4w1. After losing Jane’s banner a few very helpful community members were saying to just go for Burnice rather than committing to Jane. Since i already have zhu yuan m1w1 and qingyi m0w1 with nicole m6w5. What are your thoughts AGL?

Skipping and saving for Burnice because she goes well with Jane (from what it seems like), I love her design more and I dont like defense playstyle much

I skipped Jane to get Caesar. It has been a battle or will ever day. I still have to convince myself not to pull Jane every morning.
